In 1966 John & Berk Davis started Davis & Davis Air Conditioning & Heating with the hopes that someday having a well known and respected HVAC company. Today with over 25,000 yearly customers and receiving high marks from local consumer agency's we are celebrating over fifty years of serving families like yours. Our business, showroom and over thirty-two employees is located in Kensington, MD and we are available seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM for your heating and air conditioning needs. We offer pre-scheduled service calls for weekends and evenings and have a 24 hours answering service for your convenience. They do our annual check up.
Description of Work: I use Davis & Davis for heating and a/c services. The furnace went out on us and I called them they were prompt in coming out here and they found the igniter had to be replaced and luckily had one in the truck so he changed it.

THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, THEY WERE NEAT, THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEIR WORK. THE UNITS HAD A FEW PROBLEMS, BUT THEY CAME RIGHT OUT AND FIXED THEM.

THE ESTIMATOR VISITED OUR HOUSE AND INSPECTED OUR 2-DECADE OLD HEAT SYSTEM. HE CALLED AHEAD OF TIME AND WHEN HE ARRIVED WAS COURTEOUS. HE CHECKED OUT THE HOUSE AND INDICATED VERBALLY WHAT HE RECOMMENDED IN TERMS OF A REPLACEMENT. HE PROMISED TO MAIL US AN ESTIMATE WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK. WE RECEIVED A BID IN THE NEXT THREE DAYS. IT WAS MORE COMPLETE THAN ANY OF THE COMPETING BIDS RECEIVED AND THE PRICE TAG WAS THE LOWEST OF THREE PROPOSALS. INSTALLATION OCCURRED JUST 5 DAYS AFTER WE CALLED TO ACCEPT THEIR BID. THE INSTALLERS WERE POLITE, COURTEOUS AND COMPLETED THE WORK WITHIN THE PROMISED TIMEFRAME. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.

DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, QUICKLY DISCOVERING THE PROBLEM, EXPLAINING IT AND BEING WILLING TO STAY TO THAW THE UNIT AND THEN REPAIR. ONLY DOWN SIDE WAS HAVING TO WAIT SEVERAL DAYS FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THE REPAIR VISIT.
Description of Work: CALLED TO DETERMINE WHY AC WAS NOT WORKING. DISCOVERED SYSTEM WAS FROZEN UP, DUE TO LOW FREON LEVEL. THAWED UNIT, ADDED FREON AND SYSTEM WAS BACK TO WORKING.
