Dennis Bocabella's time spent with me beofre the estimate was presented was the reason why I chose Davis & Davis. He spent at least a half hour checking everything,doing measurents etc. He then provided me with a detailed estimate with options. I accepteed the offer and he scheduled an appointment. The quality of the installation was the same quality I recieved from the estimeate. Outstanding! They were very thourough, very neat and professional.

I called Davis & Davis Air Conditioning after my A/C unit stopped working. They provided me with a 4 hour window for same day service and arrived much earlier than expected. The repairman expeditiously diagnosed and repaired the failed piece within the A/C unit. Although the charges for their service I felt were slightly high: $95 for first half hour & $40 for every 15 minutes thereafter, which they noted upfront on the phone and on their site within Angie's List, they are well worth the money spent for their quick, professional, and courteous service. I would recommend their service and would use them again if needed.

A/C system was checked - no problems.

Within a couple of hours the technician came to the house and within a half an hour he found a lose wire and I was up and running again. Flawless, honest, great service (on a Sunday!) and competent!! I would only call them for any issues.

I described the problem I was having with my central HVAC to the person answering the phone. She told me the dispatcher would give me a call back. She let me know they were backed up and that I wouldn't get a return call unless someone cancelled their appointment which, she said, may be today or it could be in 3 or more weeks. I learned that Davis and Davis doesn't schedule service calls for new clients unless they have an appointment available that day. Of course, it would be foolish to sit around with a broken HVAC hoping that someday someone will call and ask if they can repair it. They might as well say they aren't taking new customers.

The initial call cost $75 for a non-emergency visit to inspect my 25 year old heater -- it was turning on and off. The repairman was able to quickly identify the root cause and provide a simple fix to get the heater running; though, it was at risk of leaking water on the floor. I needed a new condensation box since the old one was rusted and was deteriorating beyond fixing. The repairman explained the problem well. The water line had clogged due to rust particles and was tripping a sensor to turn off the unit. He removed and unclogged the water line, though could not properly reattach it due to the really bad rust. He returned a week later and replace the condensation box. The part was $125 and labor was $75. No complaints.

They can be informed through other process and they do a good job. We will use them again in the future.

Fritz Beiter was the best. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need. He knew what he was doing. His workers were profession in every way. If I need a system to replace my other unit, I will ask for Fritz at Davis and Davis. I hope that when that happens he is still working there.

Service man was prompt, repaired my system promptly and did such a good job that I signed up for regular maintenance.

Davis and Davis was busy, so we had to wait a couple days for an appointment. There wasn't an additional charge for it being on a Saturday. When the technician got here, he discovered that our heat pump wasn't turning on because had no coolant in it. He pumped it full of coolant, with a dye added, and said he would be back in a week to check for dye so he'd know where the leak was. About 10 minutes after he left, we noticed that the heat pump was making a hissing noise, like air was escaping. We called Davis and Davis, and they said the tech would come back as soon as he could. He came back about an hour and a half later and found that the coolant was leaking out of a crack in a copper pipe inside the heat pump. He took all of the coolant out of the heat pump, soldered the crack shut, checked for leaks and then put new coolant in the heat pump. This took about an hour. The tech was friendly and answered all of our questions. Our heat pump is working fine now.

It went very well. Technician even offered some helpful tips, such as putting a little vinegar in the a/c pipe during the summer, making sure we have a CO2 monitor in the basement for possible carbon leaks. Technician was very cordial and professional.

I've been using them for 10 years and I usually get the same technician every time. . He is very family with my system and keeps me advised on anything that might be needed, such as changing filters on the humidifier. It's very nice always having the same technician.

Davis and Davis continues to provide great service. It has been a pleasure relying on them for the past 7 years (after 6 years of putting up with the contractor who did the original install when we built the house). This time the A/C was out in one of our three HVAC systems on the first warm day of the year. D&D scheduled and fixed the problem by mid-day. They missed the original 10am to noon window by a half hour, but I called them at 9am, so that's still pretty good.

Competitively, D&Ds was not the least expensive However, the work they performed was perfect and the Service Technicians are awesome. The office staff (Carmen) is a pleasure to deal with and D&D is now my vendor of choice. Even though I was previously a skeptic, I actually purchased a service contract to have D&D clean and maintain my HVAC System bi annually. It was money well spent and helped me to avoid costly repairs. For every appointment the Service Technicians arrived on time, were polite/friendly. They identified other issues with my system but never tried to "up sell". I would definitely try try to schedule routine maintenance because I think D&D does get busy. Davis and Davis was very professional from the beginning. They were the only company to give us a full written estimate which they sent both as a booklet and a PDF. They explained our options for equipment and helped us choose. Their crew arrived on time and tried to keep the house as clean as possible despite a random snowstorm that meant they were having to come in and out in slush and snow. Also most of the system is in a very small attic and they worked up there without complaining all day the way our former AC people did. The work occurred in the timeframe Fritz has outlined and the employees seemed knowledgeable and good at what they were doing. The most amazing part was that after the installation it was still too cold to really run the system, so after the completion of the project and we had paid and everything, teams from Davis and Davis came out twice for full mornings when the weather got warmer to make sure the system was running correctly and that air flow was even and good. They went back up into the attic and crawl spaces and checked every register and damper and tested air flow. They worked so hard to get the best results for us from the new product and we really appreciate that!

They come annually for a check up and I have never had any problems. Their staff is on time, and courteous.

Came on time, and when I returned home after work, it was as if they were never there, except that the 60 year old dinosaur of a furnace had been replaced by a new sleek little model that keeps the house much warmer and uses less gas.The estimate was dead on and my over all experience was good. I intend to use them again on another property.

They are reliable and on time. They did good work.

They gave us all kinds of options and told us how to get government rebates. The system is very quite and we are saving a hundred dollars a month with our heating bill.

Everything wen t very well in each of several service calls. Although the A/C was installed by a building_contractor who did not_do servicing, D&D took-over_seamlessly.
