Description of Work: Benchmark is awesome. I have used them on many occasions and have always been very happy with their work. Their painters want the customer to be satisfied and do what is requested. I will certainly use them again!

Description of Work: I had used Benchmark to do some exterior painting and patching of the wall on the interior of the house. They did a decent job that time so I used them again to paint some interior rooms in my house that have very high ceilings (22 feet). |They did a very good job on the interior as well.

Description of Work: Prep and repaint exterior of 4/2.5/2 home. Good job of prepping home. Lots of paint chips in the yard, but they cleaned up pretty well each day and at the end of the job. Painting was completed to my satisfaction ,including extra efforts to cover areas I felt needed going over again. Job turned out very nice. My sales person Bob was responsive and came out to see the job start and discuss things with the crew. He was very helpful through out the process. | When the job was completed however, I was surprised no one from the company followed up with me to see if I was satisfied with the completed job.

Description of Work: Jacques is simply amazing. He is the manager who took care of the problems. The painters had a bit of an attitude when they had to come back because they did not give me enough hours. I would give the company an A because of Jacques. He not only took over but gave me more time because of the problem with the painters. |When one returned his attitude had totally changed. I ended up with excellent quality and customer service by Jacques. Just too bad one of the painters left early and had an attitude, yet, it one errant employee should not take away from what I the service I ultimately received.

Description of Work: Painted exterior window trim on 8 windows; painted shelves, walls, and ceiling of pantry. Great communication; painter arrived date/time promised; work was careful and professional; cleanup afterwards perfect.

Description of Work: We had the entire house painted inside and outside, including some minor repairs. We also had the outside, front and back pavers, pressure cleaned and sealed. We had some exterior wood repairs, including the garage and some repairs on the patio wood columns. I found Benchmark to be knowledgable, easy to work with and fair on their pricing. I was especially impressed with the head painter (and his |crew) that did the work at our home. Not only was he good at his trade, but was |punctual, courteous, and just a pleasure to work with. We are actually waiting right now to finish sealing the pavers because of so much rain. I have no doubt that everything will be completed as planned.

Description of Work: Patched holes (some big) in the walls, primed/painted (multiple coats) and replaced/installed baseboards where missing. Reduced price when we found we could use the paint we had left over. Office staff very responsive and friendly. Workmen extremely professional, excellent workmanship and results. Will use again shortly for more fixes and probably outside house painting!

Description of Work: Painted several rooms (kitchen, family room, bedroom, guest room) and three large hallways and stairways. They did an extremely good job and went the extra mile. Very professional. More than met expectations. Very pleasant to work with.

Description of Work: I purchased one of their specials - a specified number of hours of painting and some preparation. The store rep was very nice but the communication between the painters and the store rep could be better when offering specials such as the one I purchased. There was a difference between what the store rep and painters thought could be accomplished within those hours. Also, the store rep indicated the painters would bring the base coat with them but I had to provide the paint. When the painters arrived they said they don't provide the base coat. The painter's lunch hours were included in the number of hours of painting purchased which surprised me. However, all this said I think Benchmark Painting is a reputable company with excellent painters and well meaning employees. I just felt there needed to be better communication and coordination between the store rep and painters before starting the job. Despite this issue they did make everything right in the end. The work performed was of highest quality.

Description of Work: They painted the living room, family room and hall of our home. We had some additional carpentry work done. We had a little bit of trouble coordinating the scheduling and negotiating the bid for the carpentry work, but the actual work that they did was excellent. I will use them again. Bear in mind that you have to purchase your own paint and the brand that they recommend is pretty pricey, so that needs to be considered in your budget.

Description of Work: exterior painting of house and fence. | |The company provided a reasonable estimate, comparable to one other, and much lower than a third company. They started on the promised date, and finished on time within 6 days. The painters were friendly and courteous. They did a thorough prep job, including pressure washing and repairs of rotted wood. The work was neat, and the finished job looks great.

Description of Work: After three weeks of chasing down and emailing them, I still could not get an estimate from this company. I guess it wasn't important enough for them to be bothered?

Description of Work: Benchmark appeared to be a highly professional company. They sent an estimator to determine the value of the project and promptly provided me with an estimate. Of the 20 companies I contacted through Angie's List who provided me with an estimate, Benchmark came in at approximately double the price of its the average quote. in fact, Benchmark provided the highest estimate among the estimates received. I cannot comment on the quality of their work.

Description of Work: Just got an estimate based on your coupon. Estimator was pleaseant and professional. But estiamte was about $7500 Incl paint) for work that others (all recommended) bid at around $3-#4,000. Benchmark seemed too high but I haven't had work done yet so don;t know abt quality of final winner. gave them B overall for benefit of the doubt

Description of Work: BENCHMARK WAS MY THIRD ESTIMATE FOR A SMALL JOB - BUT ONE THAT REQUIRED SKILL IN DRYWALLING, PLASTERING, AND PAINTING. AN UPSTAIRS (SMALL) BATHROOM TUB CEILING WAS DAMAGED DUE TO OVERFLOW FROM AN AIR CONDITIONING UNIT. THE ENTIRE CEILING NEEDED TO BE PAINTED ALONG WITH A SKYLIGHT. IN ADDITION, THE CEILING AROUND A LIGHT FIXURE IN ANOTHER BATHROOM NEEDED REPAIR WHICH MEANT THE ENTIRE CEILING AND THAT SKYLIGHT ALSO WOULD NEED TO BE PAINTED TOO. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THE JOB, PROMPT RESPONSE TO MY INITIAL INQUIRY, QUICK SCHEDULING OF THE JOB, PROFESSIONALISM OF BOTH THE ESTIMATOR AND THE PAINTING/PLASTERING CREW. THIS ESTIMATE WAS THE LOWEST OF THE THREE BY A GOOD AMOUNT SO I WENT WITH BENCHMARK, ALTHOUGH IS THE PRICE STILL SEEMS A BIT ON THE HIGH SIDE FOR ONE DAY'S WORK OF 2 MEN (DURING THE MORNING, THERE WAS ONE OTHER WORKER BUT HE SEEMED TO BE HELPING WITH MATERIALS & LOGISTICS RATHER THAN ACTUAL WORK ON THE JOB.). ALSO, THEY HONORED MY ANGIE'S COUPON. THEY COMPLETED THE REPAR WORK IN THE MORNING AND THEN ONE PAINTER STAYED TO DO THE ADDITIONAL COATS AND FINISHED THE SAME DAY. THEY CAME ON TIME AND CLEANED UP NICELY. ALL IS WELL A MONTH LATER. PRICE INCLUDED COST OF ONE GALLON OF BENJAMIN MOORE PAINT AND WHATEVER PLASTERING / DRYWALLING MATERIALS WERE NEEDED.

Description of Work: Exterior whole-house preventive maintenance package with board repair, prep, caulking, priming and topcoat. Excellent job at a very fair price. Good communication, organization and execution all around.

Description of Work: Used them Jose and Jose to fix water stain from leak in bedroom from the roof. They were able to blend nicely. Also repair many nail pops throughout the upper levels and also blend the paint to the existing. They were courteous on the phone and while doing the estimate. However the job took an hour longer and I paid for an extra hour from the original estimate. I recommend them.
