Description of Work: Painted all trim on the house and back walls that are not brick. I got three estimates and theirs was the lowest by far. The estimator was very helpful in explaining how to address problem areas. Workers arrived on schedule and finished on schedule. Work was neat and looks great.

Description of Work: In our efficiency rental apartment, they repaired and painted the ceiling in the bathroom and also repaired and painted the walls in the bedroom/living area. They arrived on time, finished in the time specified, were professional and pleasant. They left the apartment clean and neat. I've used them for painting in the past and have always been very happy with their work. They've also done painting in my home. Benchmark is the first company I call when I need painting!

Description of Work: Endless problems, poor quality work all subcontractors. Literally dry walled over outlets and plumbing shut offs. Used builder quality paint not the expensive Benjamin Moore in the contract. Used stock white instead of the specific white I selected.

Description of Work: Repair of extensive water damage in kitchen ceiling, painting kitchen and trim, paint entrance hall, walls and trim, and all central hall ways and ceilings, 4 levels. |Prompt, tidy, very efficient estimator, very pleasant small team, efficient , quiet. Unfortunately they were a little too much in a hurry leaving, so the job was not finished as perfectly as on a previous occasion. I had to clean glass in door and window with razor, small misses on trim etc. Note to self and future clients, be there when the project is finished, as the workmen are very happy to rectify small things as they go, so I was very pleased with the progress the first day and a half, just sorry I could not be there when the job was handed over to iron out small niggles. Definitely will use same people again, and glad to recommend them.

Description of Work: I used benchmark to paint my condo a couple years ago and they were good. No problems with scheduling, good job done. So I called them again to get an estimate on painting my whole new house interior. They emailed me to confirm the appointment yesterday, but no one bothered to show up for our scheduled meeting today. Not only that, but no one ever called, and no one ever returned my multiple voice mails or emails. Just a total no-show, then radio silence. Completely unprofessional and they just lost a job worth potentially several thousand. Very disappointed.

Description of Work: Removed old front storm door and replaced with new door and painted; built woode shelf in basement to hold dehumidifier; removed and replaced stained ceiling panel and touched up molding.

Description of Work: Benchmark has been my "go to" provider of painting and carpentry services. I usually request maintenance service every other year to power wash and paint deck, paint front porch floor, and do any necessary wood repairs. This June Benchmark replaced a lattice frame around the bottom of the front porch with PVC lattice and added a PVC lattice door to the area. Looks terrific!

Description of Work: Power washed entire house exterior, replaced wood trim in areas where it had rotted, applied silicone and caulking to prevent future rotting, reattached a loose downspout, prepped and painted all house trim, shutters and iron railing. |Painters did a nice job and always showed me areas of wood rot that had not been included in the agreement so I could decide whether to have them do the additional work. They even worked through the weekend to complete the job on schedule despite rain interruptions. The house looks great.
