Jim from American Windows came and presented the same style and quality of windows that Thompson Creek and Window Nation have, but $7K and $5K less respectively. American Windows does not have the annoying jingles, commercials, and other expensive advertising to pay for; so, the price was enormously less. The installers were great; very professional.

They were quick, professional, they showed up with a team on time & they were done early. They came in under a quote that I got several years ago. I've been very happy with the windows. They told me what to expect.

We were fortunate enough to work with Mike Rogers and his excellent crews. Mike was wonderful from the first meeting we had. He was punctual, responsive, extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions and concerns. Despite extremely difficult weather conditions, his crews worked diligently to complete the project. The initial quoted price was exactly what we paid for the completed work. Mike personally oversaw each phase of the project and genuinely cared that we were pleased with the final outcome. I cannot say enough good things about Bob and his work with American Windows. We had the original single pane windows in our home that needed to be replaced, simply just for our own winter comfort. We contacted 4 companies to come give us an estimate. The first 3 spent a ridiculous amount of time "selling" us the best window on the market and individually measuring every single window. However, when Bob arrived, he looked around and counted the windows and explained that he would have an estimate on doing the full replacement or just half. No sales gimmicks or tricks. He explained the windows he would install and the process. The selling point for me was when I asked about measuring the windows and he was able to guess the size of the window within a quarter of an inch. He said he wouldn't waste anyone's time with measuring until we decided to use him or not. We received his quote the following day and it was simply the best price for 17 brand new windows. A few days later, he came by to measure and explained the next steps very well. A few weeks later, we were able to schedule the install. The crew was very professional and was able to finish in one day. Bob came by to check on the work and gave me his phone number to call if there were any issues after the install. I will say the one point that was somewhat frustrating was we were told the crew would arrive around 8:30 am. However, they actually showed up at 7 am. It's weird to complain about early arrivals, but my wife and I still hadn't finished preparing for the crew to do their work (removing all blinds, etc.) and my wife needed to get ready for work. We just would have appreciated not having to rush in the morning because they were early. If we were told 7 am from the start, it would have been fine. Overall, a remarkable job and I plan to use them again when and if needed.

several Gary and the team are outstanding! From the first time we met with Gary to decide on all the specifics, he was energetic, knowledgeable and doesn't waste any time. Once he ordered the windows, there is about a five to six week wait for the manufacturer. The day of installation was beyond effortless as a customer. A crew led by Miro showed up on time and covered floors and nearby furniture to keep the house clean. We had three floors of back windows replaced and the completed the work in FIVE hours. Everything was spotless after and no plants trampled in my garden either. I would like to thank John, Miguel and Brian for their amazing work. John even put in a latch on my second sliding door, and a few older windows were re-caulked as an example of going the extra mile. Many thanks to you all!

We are first time homebuyers and knew from inspection that we needed to replace doors and windows. We met with 3 companies in a day, 2 of the bigger, well known companies in the area and American Windows & Siding. After sitting through HOURS of presentations and pressure sales tactics from the other 2 companies, Gary came in and simply described to us what he could offer, measured, and told us he would send a quote. We really enjoyed that there was no high pressure sell. We received the quote a couple days later and, after a series of email exchanges and phone calls to get questions answered, decided to move forward. His price was the best and I prefer to do business with small companies when possible. About six weeks later we had doors and windows installed in about half a day. The crew was courteous and did a good job of cleaning up after the job was done. After installation I had a question about one of the doors and the same crew leaders who did the installation came back out to examine their work within a couple days of my inquiry. I have reached out to Gary on several occasions with various questions and he always takes the time to answer my emails thoroughly and promptly. We have several more windows to replace in our house and we will definitely be calling them back!

From the beginning Gary and the team at American Windows and Siding were great. We went through 5 different companies before we found them. The whole process was easy and looks great.

They are very very good. They did all the work in a day. It's 2016 and they are still honoring the warranty. Something happens, and they come out and fix it free of charge.

Bob is very easy to work with. We will ask Bob to replace the remaining windows in our house!

The provider cleaned our gutters. They arrived on time and performed the service well.

Very helpful in planning job so that the look of the house would be preserved with the new windows. Better price than competitors and always gave prompt responses to inquiries. There were delays in getting the shutters replaced, but this was not generally under their control and the windows were timely done. We are very happy with the job and with our new windows.

Excellent! Bob was great, responsive and professional. The crew installing the windows did a great job! Cleaned up when they were done and checked each other's work to ensure everything was down correctly and perfectly. I upgraded to second tier Pella windows, total cost for 12 windows (no framing) was about $8,000. They did such a great job on the windows, I asked them back to install soffits on my shed and gutters on the house. This job wasn't as smooth. There was a miscommunication and they didn't bring enough material for the soffits, but were able to correct it same day and get the extra material as the rest of the team continued installing the gutters. Second issue was the gutter on my shed wasn't installed properly and I had standing water; however, I called and within the week they came out and fixed it. Lastly, which was a fault on both our parts, the leaf guards were left off. In their defense, I did not notice they were missing on the contract. However, they were able to come out and install them when they fixed the gutter on the shed. Total Cost: ~$1,800 Though there were errors on the gutter install, they handled them quickly, correctly, professionally, and efficiently. This is why they deserve an A. Errors happen at all companies, but for me, it's how well they respond that matters and this company was excellent!

I priced windows with a few other companies and this was a very competitive price. Gary Tober, our sales rep, was great. Everything was done as promised and agreed (appointments, delivery schedule, cost, product, installation). I was very pleased with the process from start to finish. We have a 100 year old row house, so there we a some odd conditions for a few windows. We discuss resolutions, and they worked it out. Their installation on the interior was so near, we still haven't repainted. Everything was neat and clean when they left.

Prompt service and no issues.

American Windows installed all 12 windows in one day, to professional standards. Their proposal was much lower than the other two bids. They also hauled away the old windows and cleaned the area before they left. This is our 3rd project with this company, and each experience has been exceptional.

The project was expensive, but it was worth every penny. Jim and his crew were totally professional from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this company.

Mike is great!! We plan to move forward with his company when our refinance is complete. He was prompt, very knowledgeable, responsive, and offered options within our budget. His team is even going to paint two small pieces of molding for us so I don't have to rent a ladder. Looking forward to hiring his team.

.It went very well, from estimate, to installation, to quality of work. On time, on budget. Was impressed by the speed and professionalism of the workers, the whole job was done in 2.5 days and the site was kept tidy the whole time. The company also replaced three exterior doors in my house, earlier this year under a separate project ($ 5k), which went very well, too. Highly recommended.

I think it took a couple of days. The major thing was that I do have an older home, so the windows did not come out without them cracking my drywall and damage to the surrounding wall, including drywall and paint. They remediated the problems to my satisfaction. They caulked the cracks and painted around the windows. For the gutter cover part they were an A+. They did an awesome job. For the windows, I have to give them a B. I thought the price was good. I would use them again in the future, but perhaps not for windows.
