We had a very positive experience with American Bath. They removed a fiberglass bath/shower and installed a new tile walk-in shower, replaced the vanity sink, and painted the bathroom. Ron, the owner, met with us twice to discuss options, each time getting back to us very quickly with his proposal (and changes the second time). Jasen and Dale spent about a week on the job. They arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Everyone we dealt with (including Steve and Stephanie in the office) was pleasant, punctual, and efficient. Our new bathroom looks fabulous. We had a few questions after the work was done, and Ron and Jasen were responsive and willing to change things, but in the end we did not change anything. I would definitely recommend American Bath for bathroom renovations.

To start, the company was very responsive and always polite to deal with from the very beginning to end. The two gentleman that worked for a week on our bathroom, Bob and Rob were wonderful, always polite, punctual, and very accurate craftsman. The owner, Ron, went out with us to help pick out all the tiles and and door that would be best for us. He did this on a cold, rainy, Saturday morning with one of his associates. Bob and Rob always asked questions about how we would like things done before they proceeded with anything that would be permanent. Our bathroom looks beautiful, we were getting it redone for my mother, she and my father were coming for Christmas and they managed to get everything done under the time crunch. We weren't able to get the vanity we wanted in time, so when we find the one we love Ron will be our first call. Don't hesitate calling American Bath, Ron was a pleasure to deal with. A welcome change if you have ever had any contractor problems in the past!

From first contact, this company was a pleasure to work with. Ron (the owner) came out and looked at and measured the space, listened to our needs, offered suggestions, and promptly provided a quote. The quote was detailed, very reasonable, and almost half of what others quoted. There were absolutely no gimmicks or games. Base on my review of all comments, the better business bureau, checking references, and looking at pictures of other bathrooms they've done, I had COMPLETE confidence in them and I was right!!! They were AWESOME from beginning to end and I couldn't be happier with my experience and finished bathroom. The two person crew they sent were punctual every day, respectful, and highly skilled. They made sure they cleaned up everyday and communicated to us what to expect through out the process. I would most DEFINITELY hire them again and I can't wait to do so!!!!! If I could give them a higher rating than an A, I would!!! Can't say enough great things about them and the transformation of my bathroom. There were no hidden costs. My husband and I are over the moon happy with the job they've done! Hire them!!

I could not be happier with my new diva bathroom. It is beautiful and stylish and most importantly functional. Ron listened to what I wanted and his team executed. The guys who did the actual work were so nice and fun! I actually enjoyed having them around. Although it was a small bathroom it was a big job as there was a lot of plumbing work to be done and I also chose a natural stone that required much time and skill to install. The workmanship was stellar. Ron and Steve stayed in touch with me throughout the process and were always responsive when I had a question. Once the work was complete they made sure I was completely happy and I am!

Initial contact was prompt and they were willing to answer our many questions and make adjustments to our initial design. We greatly appreciated the flexibility and assistance. The start date had to be rescheduled. In our case, it didn't disrupt our plan/schedule, but if we did need the work to be completed by a certain time it could have been problematic. During the work phase the crew did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day, were prompt and the work was completed on time. We would definitely work with them again.

At the initial estimate appointment we met with the owner Ron and his son Steve. Ron was extremely helpful answering all of our questions, pointing out a number of things that no other companies noticed. We had numerous companies provide us an estimate quote. Of the companies we felt comfortable with, American Bath was the most reasonable. A few of the bids we received were almost twice the cost! American Bath provided us an emailed estimate the same day as the appointment. All of the questions we emailed were promptly responded to in a thorough manner. Once we accepted the estimate, Ron came back to our home for the contract signing, walked us through the process and made sure we were very organized and comfortable. The crew that remodeled our bathroom was Jeff and Dave. They were very professional, courteous, and obviously very experienced. They started and completed the job in the exact time frame projected which was one week. The process could not have been easier and we couldn?t be more pleased with the outcome of our bathroom. We are currently making plans to have our second bathroom remodeled by American Bath!

Our house is 32 years old with two original full bathrooms. American Bath took both down to the studs and then installed new drywall, lights, fixtures, tile, vanities, toilets, a bathtub and a walk-in shower. Ron did an excellent job helping us decide exactly what to do in each bathroom and assisting us in deciding upon particulars. American Bath was very responsive throughout the process. The work was started on the promised day and completed within the estimated time and for the amount quoted. Jasen and Dale performed all of the work and were amazing. They were professional, punctual, very pleasant, and exceptionally skilled. They also cleaned up thoroughly each day. The resultant bathrooms are beyond gorgeous and a sight to behold. The workmanship and quality is phenomenal. We are extremely pleased with the results. I would highly recommend American Bath to others and would call upon them again in the future for other work.

The staff was professional and cleaned up thoroughly each day. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

From initial inquiry to project completion the process was very smooth and very professional. The services needed were a new bathtub as we had an old large cast iron tub with broken lining. Additionally, the tile around our bathtub was cracked and was leaking water into the basement. The owner, Ron, and his son came to our house for an initial review. I appreciated their knowledge on what could be do to fix the tub and surrounding tile as well as modernize the room overall, while cutting costs where possible. This was a new process for me, so their overall expertise from what they would use to what would look best was wonderful. They were very prompt in their follow-up with what I found to be a competitive cost estimate, and the date set for the remodel was pretty soon after we agreed to the project. The crew that did the construction were very nice and did a wonderful job on the remodel. They redid the tiling on the walls around our bathroom, redid the tiling on the floors, installed a plug outlet which had not previously been in the room, removed our old bulky tub with liner and installed a new modernized tub. In addition to receiving a great bathroom remodel, it was a wonderful customer service experience, including the office contact Stephanie, which seems pretty hard to find these days!

I had a leak in the roof a few years ago. The bathroom ceiling and corner wall were damaged, and the water got behind the bathroom tiles around the window, so the damage was significant. I knew that my budget would only allow me to do a portion of the bathroom rather than the entire bathroom. This seemed to be a problem for some other companies that I called. Ron showed up for the estimate and did not put any pressure on me to do the whole bathroom at all. He explained what they would do, had pictures to show of the materials to choose from and we were able to match the fixtures to the already installed sink fixtures. Ron gave me a written estimate that was detailed. (I've gotten estimates from other companies that were rather cryptic.) The installer Rob was on time and very pleasant. He put drop cloth from the bathroom to the front door to avoid any carpet stains. There was no mess to contend with at any time. He got the job done in two and a half days and it looks gorgeous. I was very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend American Bath Inc to others and I do plan on calling them again in the future.

We are extremely pleased with the results of our bathroom remodel. The large porcelain tiles (12 x 24) look terrific. American Bath was very responsive throughout the process. They responded in minutes to my initial query and made an appointment to provide the estimate. They supplied an estimate very quickly and were exceptionally competitive on price. American Bath provided superior service in terms of responsiveness. The crew did great work on removing 75 year old plaster walls and installing new walls that were both vertical and in-plane. The crew exhibited great craftsmanship with the installation of the tiles on the wall. The crew cooperated with the permitting and periodic inspection requirements of our home owner?s cooperative. The crew completed their work in 3 days and did a good job cleaning up at the end of each day. We are very pleased with the results and with the overall process. We highly recommend American Bath.

I am extremely satisfied with the work done by the team lead by Jasen from American Bath. I interviewed 4 contractors prior to choosing American Bath, and it was the best decision ever. Punctuality - If they said they were going to arrive at 7:00 AM, they arrived exactly at 7:00 AM. I was actually in awe of how punctual they were given the distance they had to travel each day to get to me. Accuracy of estimate - They told me it would take exactly 5 days and it took exactly 5 days of effort. The one hiccup on the job was my fault. I ordered a vanity that was not in stock, and we did not realize it until after the demo. They were flexible with me and got the job done in the timeframe planned. In terms of cost, I knew exactly what I was paying and they never deviated from the quote. I got my quote directly from the owner Ron Wood, who clear knows his stuff. Professionalism - Not only were they very professional, but also very clean. They were meticulous in covering up my flooring and furniture and cleaning up after themselves each day. Responsiveness - This was one of the things that impressed me the most and was the key reason why they beat out 4 other contractors. They returned my phone calls, communicated with me daily, kept me up to date on everything. I had a full estimate in my hand within the same day of the walk through (I am still waiting for other contractors to get back to me). Communications - All of the written and verbal communications were clear. At each phase of the project I knew the status, what had been done and what was left to do. Workmanship - I LOVE my new bathroom. As soon as it was finished I began taking my family on tours of my new bathroom. The workmanship was phenomenal and night & day in comparison to the old 1989 bathroom that they ripped out. If I had any complaints it would be that they only do bathrooms. I will be using them again in the spring to update the vanities in my other bathrooms and recommending them to friends and family.

Prior to the service start date, I met with Ron (the Owner) to walk through the bathroom and confirm the services to be performed. It was a full gut and replacement. I received the estimates within a day of the initial meeting and Stephanie was very responsive with the various questions I had prior and during the remodel. The crew arrived and finished on time. The final product looks great. This is my second job with them and I will use again.

Crew was punctual, polite, and cleaned up after themselves every day. They spent some extra time resolving a plumbing problem that only became apparent when they were installing the new sink.

We used American Bath to completely remodel an old bathroom in our home. Before signing the contract, we obtained three estimates. American Bath was the middle with regard to cost, but we selected them because we were most comfortable with their process and the overall company (business practices, etc). Ron, the owner, came to our home twice -- once to do the initial estimate, and the second time when we were ready to sign the contract. He was extremely helpful, providing lots of advice related to our questions and concerns. They have a pretty unique approach in that the customer purchases some of their own components to the bath (e.g., sink, tile, etc). So that means you can go anyplace to make your selections, which also means you control the cost. That said, Ron provided a great ballpark for us when we were selecting materials -- so we knew basically what to expect, and what price range would mean what level of quality. He also provided a list of local vendors from which to shop. Before the project started, they were in touch with us via email periodically, just checking to see that we had purchased everything on our list, and also to ensure that all of our questions were addressed. I really appreciated this level of contact and customer service. When it came time for the actual work to be done, it really couldn't have gone more smoothly. The team arrived on time every day. It took a few days to fully gut the bathroom because the tub was cast iron and the tiles were set in concrete -- hard work! Once that was complete, everything else went pretty quickly. The team, led by Jasen, was great. Everything was cleaned-up on a daily basis (inside my home, in the driveway, etc), and I was always informed about what was taking place next. Jasen has a lot of experience with bathroom remodels, and is also very pleasant and courteous. We plan to have another bathroom remodeled in about a year, and will plan to call American Bath at that time.

Owner, Ron Wood, who gave the estimate is knowledgeable, and experienced. He listened to our requests, and made suggestions when he thought they were necessary. Our plans were followed and the work went smoothly. The two man crew that carried out the job were professional and accomplished. They were on time, courteous, and besides doing an excellent job they completed the work on schedule. We are very pleased with the results, and recommend the company.

Jasen and Joe arrived on day 1 at 8am and went over the specs of the job. They proceeded to demo the entire master bath. They removed the shower tiles and drywall, toilet, tub, flooring, mirror, and medicine cabinet. Day 2 involved repairing any damages and repairing plumbing. The tub was installed and an access panel was installed between both bathrooms. Day 3 they tiled the bathroom and floors, ensured the vanity would fit correctly and made adjustments as needed. They also removed the old light fixture. They installed the fixtures to second bathroom. Day 4 they installed the toilet, shower fixtures, vanity, mirror, lights, medicine cabinet, and grouted the shower and floors. Once all was done a walk through was performed to ensure we approved with all of the work. Jasen and Joe were incredibly clean and tidy during this process. They cleaned up after themselves and I enjoyed working with them. They both readily answered all of my questions on any aspect that I inquired about and we're very personable and ALWAYS on time. I highly recommend these two gentlemen! Ron and Steve were extremely helpful when it came to picking out the vanity and making sure we had the right specs to fit our space. They even picked it up and brought it to my house. Stephanie was very efficient in providing any and all information regarding the budget, what was owed when and making sure we were all on the same page regarding the purchase of everything (vanity, tiles, towel rod etc...). I HIGHLY recommend American Bath, especially Jasen and Joe, for your bath renovation project. Many thanks guys!!!

Service was excellent. If there were any questions, they were asked prior to the work. Shown all the work done after each day. Greatest care was taken to cover any areas affected by work. Cleanup was excellent. No issues at all.

We contacted American Bath, because the bottom row of tiles (that bordered the bathtub) showed signs of water leakage. The owner Ron, who came for the first appointment, inquired as to the nature of the walls behind the tile and suggested replacing it with cement board and new tiles. He also suggested a particular tile design that most closely matched the tiles installed behind the toilet and vanity. I received a written estimate via e-mail and a follow-up call from his office manager. We set up an appointment for the work and the two-man crew arrived on time and worked diligently to finish the job in one day. They were professional, polite and insisted we inspect the results. We were quite impressed with the finished job and the new tiles did indeed look like the remaining tiles. The crew packed up their tools and left the bathroom spotless. The office manager called after the crew left to make sure we were satisfied. I would DEFINITELY use this company again.

We went through Angie's List to get estimates. Several didn't work out due to location, timing, nature of the job, etc. A few estimates were near $10,000 from companies that weren't exclusively bathroom remodel companies. From the start, Stephanie, contacted us and set-up an estimate appointment within a few days. The owner, Ron, came out to do the estimate. He is knowledgeable, professional, and not at all pushy. He left us with information about the company, as well as a sheet of references we could contact if necessary. We received the estimate the next day via email, and he broke it down into three different parts - one estimate with our original requests and two different estimates with additional options that we discussed. It was broken down clearly and specifically. Stephanie checked in via email to see if we had any questions, and we decided to go with this company. We scheduled an in-home appointment to pay the 1/3 deposit and have some questions answered. We had to travel unexpectedly during this time, and they had no problems with waiting a few weeks to get it all squared away. Stephanie kept us apprised of the scheduled start date. The project began on 5/15 and lasted about a day and a half. Jeff and Dave arrived on time and worked diligently. They were hard-working, attentive to detail, and careful in their craft. They asked questions about placement of things like towel holders (in the past, other contractors have just placed things where they felt they best looked). They answered all of our questions and cleaned up after themselves. We weren't sure if the whole sub-floor would need to be replaced. The original estimate was for $2600, and replacing the entire sub-floor brought it up to $2900. We didn't care because this was not exorbitant and the work was done very well. Ron followed-up immediately via email to ensure we were happy with the work that was done. Overall, we really liked the company and their professionalism. The bathroom looks fantastic!

They showed up on time, but, when they learned that we were receiving estimates from competitors, they refused to even come in our house! When they arrived, another company was wrapping up the estimate. When they found out that another company was giving us an estimate they said "we don't do business like that." Then they walked away.

I got three bids for the work. I selected American Bath because from the start they were cooperative and attentive to what we were seeking to accomplish with this job. Ron, the owner, came to meet with us and listened to what we thought we wanted and pointed out things we should also consider doing. He prepared a proposal that was complete and easy to understand. He was able to work with our schedule and got the work completed by the agreed on deadline. We were going to supply some of the material and he helped us in estimating the quantities needed for the job. His crew picked up some of the bulkier material for us. If we had questions they were accessible and responded promptly to the questions. Communications with them were excellent. The crew showed up on the scheduled date and worked quickly and competently. As the work progressed, they kept us informed of what was going on and how the job was progressing. On certain details of the work they sought our input for what our preference would be. The work was completed a few months ago and when it was finished it was everything we hoped it would be. We haven't experienced any problems at all. We would recommend them to anyone considering a similar project.

American Bath did a fantastic job on our bathroom. We needed a new shower stall and decided to also replace the vanities and fixtures in the bathroom and the dressing area outside it, and have the bathroom repainted. We had four contractors come out and give us estimates (all from Angie’s List), and American Bath was the only one who actually gave us a written estimate (the others each gave us verbal ballpark figure but said they would send it to us in writing; none did). We also chose them because we liked the way they approached the project, but the fact that they followed through on what they told us boded well for the rest of the job. The whole process was very clearly spelled out, with everything specifically itemized. If we wanted changes (or they had to make changes), then they were clear about the additional charges and they were written and signed off on. If I sent emails asking questions, they were answered within a day. I also very much appreciated that they were flexible enough to be able to accommodate us when materials we had ordered online didn’t show up when promised, and to do a little extra work when we discovered that our other bathroom also needed a new vanity and sink. Finally, they did an excellent job. The bathroom looks great, they paid attention to details, they were conscientious about cleaning up afterwards, and the whole thing feels solidly constructed. I would definitely use them again.
