Star Choice Remodeling

Cesar did a great job repairing some water damage around a window on our old home and fixed another contractors poor job on a door installation. We had tons of air leakage around our door from the first contractors install and Cesar completely fixed it for us! :)

The job went flawlessly. James saved us from a contractor nightmare who completely botched the job on the first attempt. James came out and saved us and gave us the perfect bathroom. His attention to detail is fantastic, plus he shows up on time and with a smile on his face. Some contractors we've used before can be quite skevy -- not really the type you want to leave the house alone with -- but James and everyone he has working with him have been excellent. I can't recommend highly enough. - We have since hired them for many other projects and will continue to do so!

James did an amazing job on our newly remodeled kitchen floors. He worked closely with our Carpenter and electrician to complete our new heated floor installation which was quite challenging given the fact that our old house has no straight floors or walls!! He completely removed all of the layers of old flooring, and the subfloor, installed new subfloor, leveled, and installed the new heated floor and tile. We love how much attention he pays to the details to ensure we are happy with the job. Also we love that he shows up on time and in a good mood. We've had other contractors in the past show up late, with bad attitudes, and constantly complaining -- the type of people you wouldn't trust alone in your house. We love using Star Choice because we can trust them!! No better contractor to hire!

Job went very well! I am really pleased with the result! James and his assistant, Justin, completed the entire back splash job in one day-- a job others had estimated might take three days. James is easy to work with and clearly takes pride in doing quality work. I would definitely hire him again!

We would highly recommend Star Choice. Cezar was wonderful to work with. He helped us through every step, letting us know exactly how it would be fixed so that we wouldn't have future leaking problems from the window. The new door and portico really add to the front of our house. Cezar helped us make decisions about the design when we weren't sure what would look best. I had gotten about 5 other quotes and Star Choice was MUCH more reasonable than most of the others. They were responsive and professional and I will definitely be using them for any future home improvement projects.

He started the project on time, and finished on time. The work looks really good.

Star Choice provided excellent service during our remodel. They clearly communicated what would be done during initial discussions and provided a detailed and fair quote. Their estimate of the amount of tile we needed was perfect. Once work began, each phase of work happened on schedule. The craftsmanship was excellent, and although other contractors had been unwilling or concerned about the length of our tile, Star Choice was confident and capable. The end product looks great, and they cleaned up the worksite well at the completion of the job. I plan to work with them for other remodeling in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

James & Crew showed up on time, jumped in and tackled the demolition quickly & cleanly, repaired & prepared the substrates & started tile installation as soon as was ready. Completed there tasks in a timely fashion, wrapped up when done & moved on. Had 1 callback for a small trim issue which they took care of within 24 hours of my call. Extremely clean & courteous. Excellent. Tile floor was laid perfectly. No imperfections. Nice job.

Awesome. James tore out the old corner shower, pointed out the ways which the original builder cut corners, made mistakes and implemented our re-design which included expanding the shower out another 2' and making it completely open. Installed the difficult pebble floor and hand-cut every pebble at the edge to make a perfect joint with the base wall tile. All work was done to perfectionist standard. James was alway on time, communicated well and even jammed some extra hours in day to get the job done before my wife arrived home from vacation. All in all, excellent work.

Dealing with James was a pleasure from beginning to end. He was one of four contractors we were getting proposals from but he stood out right from the start. He was responsive, friendly, more than willing to answer our questions, and totally forthcoming when it came to the details of the job. When it came to price, he was more than reasonable, which is far more than I can say for his competitors. We spoke with quite a number of his references and all were thoroughly pleased with the person and the work outcome. We talked constantly as the work progressed, a lot of which was done when we were not at home. We were especially impressed with how he worked with us to deal with unforeseen complications. We always felt informed and comfortable at every step. When the job was done we could not have been happier. The workmanship was top notch and the finished floor is beautiful! We have no doubt at all that we would hire James again. He definitely gets our recommendation.

I love it.

All jobs went great. They worked on both my old and current house. A full and half bath at the old house. A full bath and kitchen at my current house. They had competitive rates and the workmanship is top notch. Clear and honest work. No complaints.

Everything went great. They offered great suggestions to my wife and I which made a world of difference. I explained to them that our bathroom floor would get really cold in the winter time due to our master bath being above our garage. So they suggested that we get a heated floor system under the tile. That was the best decision I ever made. Now the tile is never cold at all. Its always nice and warm. They were neat and clean with there work. Each day they would clean up at the end of the work day. They never rushed a job and was very attention to detail.

Very well I have to say! I would hire them again for any other work that I would need done around here as I will never choose another Company to take care of my home needs.

Perfect I could not have asked for more! Very trustworthy and responsible was able to just hand over key and code to our home. Never worried about them in our home or the job they were doing! We will be using Star Choice in the near future for new siding,, doors, gutters, and windows!
