He came while I was gone and advised me that everything with the tree was fine and he never tried to charge me or just do work when it was not needed. It thought that was very honest and I will be using him in the future.

I had tried to get several closer companies to provide estimates to remove two trees in my yard, but to no avail. A positive for ClearTree was someone picked up the phone when I called. They scheduled a prompt appointment for an estimate. The estimator came out a few days later and provided us an estimate on the spot. The only downside is they are busy and took 6 weeks before they were able to come out to provide the service; however, it was worth the wait. As it was suppose to rain on my date and time, they called ahead and were able to provide the service early. They were punctual, quick, and cleaned up beautifully. I would definitely recommend ClearTree!

This is an excellent company to work with. Competitive pricing and excellent work. The owner, Mike Kasun, is very professional and responsive. He took great care in the scheduling of the work to make sure my lawn was dry and minimize any damage. The assigned crew were friendly and on time. They were very careful with my lawn and completed the job without any damage to my lawn. I would choose this conpany again for any future jobs and recommend them highly to others.

Amazing! Mike was able to schedule the work with the understanding that if they had a break in their schedule they would come early. They were able to get the work done two weeks early!

I requested a visit and advice on tree service. Mr. Tom Weigl of Cleartree visited on time, and provided an estimate for work that we had discussed. An appointment was made to do the work. The crew was on time, performed all of the requested work and left the area clean of debris. The crew supervisor, Kerry, was pleasant to work with.

They came at the time they were scheduled. Laid down boards in yard to prevent lawn damage. Cut and trimmed everything as stated, and cleaned up and removed all trees and branches. Delivered cut up trees to neighbor's yard. Very happy happy with the results. The guys know their trees!

A smaller partly dead cherry tree was suppose to be removed along with its stump and a second stump on the other side of the house. When the 2nd stump was removed, our FIOS lines were cut. Even though a Miss Utility ticket was called and cleared, Clear Tree failed to notice the big green VERIZON box in the ground 6 feet away from the stump. Needless to say, our lines were cut and now we are without cable, phones and internet. The hassle and inconvenience is now on us and the same price was charged. When I called Clear Tree from work to ask questions, the lady who I spoke with was not very pleasant. Well at least she has a phone to use because now I do not from home. I feel as if Clear Tree was in a hurry and next time should maybe take a few steps around and notice their surroundings. Had the Verizon box of been seen, that would of drawn red flag. Hopefully.

Mike was very professional, always kept me informed about the schedule via email and post card (after his schedule was impacted by rain delays), and provided a competitive price. The crew arrived on time, was very efficient, and cleaned up the yard with blowers and rakes before leaving. They laid down plywood to minimize the damage by the tracked vehicle. Everything went very well and I wouldn't hesitate to use Cleartree again.

Crew of four brought down a 80ft Maple tree and ground the stump in 2 hours. Tree was in back yard so there was limited access. They used a Bobcat type machine to haul the logs out. They protected the lawn with plywood and used a leaf blower to blow the wood chips out of the grass. They cleaned up all debris and left the area flat.

Explained scope of work and provided clear hand written estimate outlining options and costs. As requested, had insurance agent properly provide current certificates of W.C. & C.G.L. coverage. All communication clear and timely.

An excellent experience. They workers were very professional. Cleaned up the work areas and even corrected the grass where they had to drive equipment. The owner contacted me after the completion of work to make sure I was satisfied. Will definitely use this company again.

Service was excellent. ClearTree was able to perform the work about a week and a half after the initial visit. The crew showed up on time, and went right to work. Within 10 minutes of arrival, the Blue Spruce was down and being chipped up. I asked the crew Foreman, Kelly, if they could also take down a large American Holly and 4 large shrubs around the front yard, and grind up some fallen limbs near my property, which they immediately did, for the relatively small cost of $150.00. The crew put down plywood over the grass so the tree removal equipment wouldn't damage the yard, and tied back a bird house to ensure it wouldn't be damaged. They took great care in protecting the yard, and cleaning up the debris (limbs, stump grinding waste, etc.). The blue spruce we had removed was ringed by 12 hostas, and somehow they removed the Spruce without any damage to the hostas - demonstrating the skill and care these guys took. The owner personally came by to check on the work and ensure we were happy. Overall, a very good experience - would definitely use them again.

Mike and his team are true professionals. I live out of state and he graciously coordinated all the work and scheduling between myself, the neighbor behind me at the house where the 2 concerning trees existed, and my family local to Maryland. Communication through phone, email, and with persons residing in the homes affected, was stellar. The job was done in a very timely manner -- which was very important since there was concern that a large tree could fall into the yard, causing great harm. The job was done extremely well and the price was very reasonable. [I had received about 7 quotes, and his was by far the best, for the most work.] I can't recommend Clear Tree enough. It is a top-notch company, that performs high quality work, and which puts customer service & satisfaction first,

They are very good. They are very inexpensive compared to other companies. They are very helpful.

The owner came out to give me an estimate first. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything. He gave a better price than another company quoted. Then a few days after I had set up the work one of my very extra large popular trees dropped a tree sized branch for no evident reason and I ask Mike if he could add that tree on to the job. He stopped by the next day and gave me the price to add that to the job. He worked hard to adjust his schedule so that he could do my job quickly. The first day they came out, I decided to take out the second giant popular and they again added that to the job for a good price. Then they again bumped the schedule so that they were able to finish the job two weeks earlier than the original scheduled date. I could not have been more satisfied with the job they did or the wonderful crews that did the work. It was really fun to watch.

We recently bought our new house with a good size yard outback. We have roughly 15+ trees. The majority are very large and very tall. I am not an expert but I would say most are easily over 50 ft tall. I called Cleartree for an estimate. My plan was to get several estimates but after meeting the owner Mike which by the way was the first company I called I no longer felt the need to have any other further estimates done. The knowledge, professionalism ,and willingness won us over immediately. I will choose those qualities over price comparison any day. Mike came out as scheduled for the estimate and there was not a question that I had that he could not answer. Mike was able to understand exactly what we were looking for and even broke our job into phases which fit us best. The prices as far I was concerned were more than fair. He was very clear on discounts and also where and how we could save money if needed. We scheduled a date to have phase 1 of our work done, they showed up exactly as planned and began to work. I met the foreman when he arrived in the morning and he did a complete walk-through of the property and work to be completed. The team laid down about 60 feet of plywood so the truck would not damage the lawn in anyway. Having such large trees that hung over our property and the neighbors yard I was very curious how the work would be done with out making a mess or using the neighbors yard. The team that was out here had a system that was fascinating to watch to say the least. Not once did they have to bother any of our neighbors or get into their yards except to clean up leaves that fell into their yard. They basically used a "rope and pulley" system to make sure everything came down in our yard. The fact they they cleaned up the leaves in the neighbors yard says a lot as well. In addition as my luck would have it the weather changed going into the afternoon. A huge storm came through but this did not stop all of the work. I believe there was still two or three guys moving logs out of the yard in the pouring rain. They removed a total 6 trees, one triple tree and a large shrub and were out of here well before dinner time. Before the team left the cleaned up everything including mud that began to show up due to the rain. They also hosed down my driveway and street were mud had began to gather without even being asked to. The owner also emailed me during the job to check on the progress and satisfaction. He has provided non stop communication and continues to do so as we look forward to having the next phase of work done. I am sure I have left out some praises that are due but rest assured we had no complaints...not one.

Great experience from start to finish -- a recent storm took out several large branches from a dying maple tree in our backyard, so we needed help removing that debris and taking the tree down for good. Tom came out for an estimate within two days and the crew was in our backyard five days later. The tree was down (and stump gone) within hours; aside from a few small tractor tracks on the grass (which have since grown over), there was barely a trace of the work. These guys are pros -- would definitely use them again.

It couldn't have gone any more smooth. Cary took time to explain everything to me. If I could give this company a A+ I would but there was not column for that. I didn't know how great a company Cleartee was until I saw another tree company come out today to perform tree services for a neighbor. I saw them talking and laughing for long periods of time, looking at their cell phones all the time and spending time doing absolutely nothing. Cleartree workers were NOT like that at all. I felt confident that I would have great service, and I did. After receiving several estimates from other companies, I was impressed with the knowledge of the work and the acceptability of my requests that I received from Cleartree. Their estimate was impressive for the amount of work that they did. All I can say is Thank You Cleartree for the professionalism of your workers, the respect I received and the excellent work that you provided to me.

From the start, ClearTree showed professionalism. The estimator (I believe it was Tom) was on time and friendly. He inspected the tree from every angle and we discussed the options on safely removing the tree. I have a 10 foot gate, but Tom inspected the location and determined it would bring the bucket truck too close to the house because of the angle, so we had to find another way. Fortunately, we were able to use a neighbor's driveway and yard to park the truck right next to the tree, in my neighbor's yard though. Tom spent about 40 minutes going through everything and answered every question I had. The tree itself was a 55ft Oak, with the top 1/3 either dead or dying. It was located in the back corner of my yard right next too three fences and two sheds. Branches had been falling off for a while and I feared one might fall on my dog or 2 year old. ClearTree worked around my vacation schedule and came out on a Saturday morning to remove the tree. From start to finish it probably only took 2 hours, maybe 2.5. They were fast, efficient, and most important to me, they were safe. I'm horrible remembering names, but I believe our crew leader's name was Mike. The crew chipped the dead wood and cut the good wood into 12-18 inch sections for me to split later (we got almost 3 cords of wood out of it). They cleaned up everything, took care not to damage the yard, and even removed a pile of dead azalea bushes that I had removed a few months back. Before selecting ClearTree, I had a total of 5 companies come out to give estimates. The prices quoted were 2,175 - 1,800 - 1,800 - 1,755 - 1,300. All of these companies have good ratings on Angie's List. I didn't like the lowest bid because they wanted to have someone climb the tree and were the only ones that weren't going to use a bucket or a crane. Honestly, I thought A-AAA and ClearTree were both great and spent a lot of time explaining things, but ClearTree won out on the price. My recommendation to anyone looking for tree service is to get multiple estimates. No two scenarios are the same so prices can be all over the place depending on the company and the equipment they have at their disposal. In the end, the estimator for ClearTree won me over and they will be my first call if I ever need tree service again.
