We saw a big deal from the vendor and contacted Allied-Philips and talked to Coral regarding some quesitons on the big deal. Coral was very prompt with answers and honest about her feedback on the upgrades that I was asking for (even though they would make more money on it). Mike who came in for the installation was prompt and on time on install date. He did the installation without any issues, and took the time to explain how the unit worked and addressed all the questions that I had, very patiently. Without a doubt, I will be using them for any HVAC issues that I might run into, in the future. Thanks Coral/Sonja/Mike.

They charge $240 the year and that includes breakdown of the equipment. If it couldn’t be repaired, they don’t give you another air conditioner, but if it can be repaired, they fix that at no charge. They are responsive and the warranty is good. When they come, they clean everything up, and they give you a report.
Description of Work: They come in the fall and make sure the furnace is ready to go and they come in the spring and make sure the A/C is ready to go.

They were fantastic. They fixed my problem for $100. He came in and they were excellent. A company put in a heating unit, a heat pump and a furnace and what they should have done was create a draft for the furnace so that everything draws up and out and they didn't do that. They could have easily created that for me, but they didn't. So they said all the inside duct work rotted out and needed to be replaced. I looked at it and I didn't agree with them so I called Allied-Phillips and they came out and said the other company could've easily fixed that for me and they just created something for me to fix the problem and it was very cheap.

The job went well since that was the last time we were under contract with this provider. Unfortunately I was unable to continue my contract with them due financial hardship i.e. unemployed. I do plan on returning to their service in the future.

Mike handled both the appointment and the service call. He squeezed me in in order to accommodate my schedule on my day off. He was prompt and professional. The work was taken care of in short order. I have prior experience with this company, which I believe is family owned and operated. They are reliable & services are comparably priced.

My house is a very old house and it was a challenge to air condition it because there really is not an attic. The attic had been converted to a second floor. They did a fabulous job putting in the system. The price was also very reasonable. The service on the unit has been excellent ever since.
Description of Work: We hired htem to put in a completely new HVAC system for us. The house had baseboard heating and no central AC before this.

We were extremely pleased with this work performed by Allied-Phillips. They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. The duct cleaning was done by company owner - Coral - the day before the furnace & AC were installed. Allied's workers appeared knowledgeable and were courteous & respectful. No problems encountered. Haven't had to use heat, but the AC has performed delightful so far! Also, we have been very pleased with Allied's Customer Service so far.
Description of Work: Perform whole house duct cleaning prior to - Provide & install replacement Gas Furnace & Outside central AC unit (Trane) Provide & install replacement programmable thermostat. Amt spent includes $350 for duct cleaning all duct vents. Connected new duct fittings to existing ductwork, leveled & installed new (? polyresin) pad for outdoor AC unit, replaced refrigerant lines (now copper for 410A refrigerant), reconnected high & low voltage wires @ furnace & AC. Installed new thermostat in rancher's hallway. Start up & Test system. Of the 4 estimates we received - 2 Carrier, 2 Trane - Allied was the lowest by $1,000, but that wasn't the only reason we chose Allied ... Appreciated fact that Dennis - the estimator - did not "trash" talk about other products when we asked his views on Trane vs. Carrier. He stated, as we had read online - these 2 systems are quite comparable, most important is that they are installed correctly. No high pressure sale (and neither were any of the other 3 companies).

ALLIED DOES A VERY THOROUGH JOB ON THEIR SEMI-ANNUAL VISITS. THEY REPLACE THE FILTERS IN THE UNITS AND INSPECT EVERYTHING. THEY ALSO MAKE SURE THE FREON LEVELS ARE GOOD. THEY HAVE REPLACED SEVERAL FAULTY PARTS PER THE SERVICE AGREEMENT, AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.

THIS COMPANY UNDERSTOOD THAT WE NEEDED HEAT IMMEDIATELY. THEY SENT OUT A TECHNICIAN RIGHT AWAY AND HE WENT OUT IN THE COLD AND WORKED STEADILY UNTIL HE FIXED THE PROBLEM.
