Description of Work: I called, saleman came, went through whole house, answered all my questions, gave me an estimate which I accepted. Crew came about 10 days later, very professional, did job, no problems

Description of Work: Using the alarm existing system in place I had 1 standard cellular communicator installed , Test and inspect all existing devices, Repair the rear basement window and Identify the trouble condition one of my sensors. Total investment$100.00 with a 3 year agreement at 384.00 per year paid annually on auto pay. When there is an alarm I'm called immediately. One time, I wasn't near my phone for the call and the police were dispatched.

Description of Work: They were recommended by our builder and were priced with their minimum package into our contract. They supposed to do our alarm system and Ethernet and TV wiring. Had several talks with them and everything sounded great. I even recommended them to Coworkers. When we were ready to place the order we had to find out that we would get charged an additional amount of around 6000$ for additional sensors (8 window door sensors, motion detectors and premiering for a camera) HDMI connections (2) and TV and Ethernet outlets (7). We have asked them for other options but never got an answer. My dad is an electrical engineer and we told them that and that we know the cost of the system. I must add that we had been very upset how we have been treated and we had been loud. But if are willing to go with a company you should trust them. Based on this experience I will not recommend them to anybody.

Description of Work: Vintage security was on time and very informative and knowledgeable when it came to questions I had. They were quick and efficient with the their work. Once installation was completed Mark made sure I knew how everything worked and the I got setup properly before he left. I am glad I chose vintage security!

Description of Work: I wanted to upgrade our old Honeywell alarm that used a Caretaker Plus main panel with wireless sensors. Three alarm companies came to my home and Vintage Security was THE ONLY ONE familiar with this panel. After discussing what I perceived as my needs, Michael Herbert, their installation technician discussed my options and recommended a fully bi-directional panel with cellular interface. I now have a system that not only uses a cellular interface (savings on my telephone line is $350.00 per year) and this also reducing my monitoring charges by $120.00 additional. Vintage Security installed a system that has multiple codes (so I can confirm who armed/disarmed) I can have full control through my smartphone, alerts me IMMEDIATELY via text/email of any system problems (low battery, device tampering, loss of power, restoration of power) and I can remotely arm/disarm system and confirm system status. This system includes geo-fencing - a feature that will alert me on my smartphone if I leave the house without arming the system. All this including a SAVINGS of almost $500.00 per year. Vintage Security exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone who either needs a new system or a system upgrade. Thank you for a job well done!

Description of Work: They did a fine job of installing various alarms to provide security. Every time I have had a question or need for service they have been courteous and helpful very quickly. I have a great deal of respect for the company and all of its employees with whom I have had interaction.
