Terrific - tech was outstanding, courteous and friendly

Scheduling went fine. We set a date and as promised the scheduler called 24 hours before to refine our service window down to a two-hour time frame. The electrician and his helper showed up on time, were courteous, asked the right questions (e.g. what do you plan on using the outlet for primarily), and provided a written estimate. Because their first call of the day was less complex than expected they were able to do the job right away. Once they were finished they showed me the way to use the now standard outlet cover for an exterior outlet. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Very good. Salesman provide a good choice of options and the tradesmen made it work (even though they ran into a couple of issues with the joists in the ceiling.

I have recommend them to other people and I have very picky about what or who I recommend.

I've used TriStar Electric many times. Their prices are competitive and their work is always flawless.

Their technician came out, diagnosed the problem, and installed a new unit. he also did a quick once-over of the rest of the house and ended up replacing a defective GFI socket.

Got an estimate that was 50% higher than other bids. Don't doubt that they know their stuff but I found them to be a bit pricey.

It took 2 trips but after it was explained to me what products I needed to purchase the second portion was rescheduled and completed. I'd definitely hire TriStar Electirc for future electrical work.

These guys have been great in my experience from the front office to the professionals they send out who know how to do their jobs. I have found their pricing reasonable and the quality of their work excellent. They also come with ideas in how to update the house with new technology and improve other electrical issues in the house.

Excellent. These guys know what they are doing. Walked me through different options on phone before they came out. Highly professional. Used Angie list coupons. I would use them for any future electrical issues.

I live in an old house and it's not easy to always determine the cause of the issue...Tristar sent an experienced electrician, Debbie, who sniffed out the culprit like a detective and fixed an issue or two along the way. Would definitly recommend to anyone who lives in an older home. Another company could have taken advantage and charged me double. Friendly, honest and arrived early :)

a little bumpy in the beginning. job was completed after some discussion with office and tech on site. all involved worked to make sure job was completed. i would call tristar again and definitely recommend.

Have been a client with Tri-Star for 7+ years, but recently have found they are understaffed, and take a long time responding to service calls. My generator was installed by Tri Star and I have a service contract with them. The power went out, and my generator did not start -- I called Tri-Star to find that they could not come out to fix it! They only have 1 technician for emergency servicing, and he was not available or reachable! Soooo frustrating, so do not recommend them for installation or servicing of generators.

I called TriStar Electric around 6 am trying to get an electrician to come out after having the fire department at my house earlier that morning for a house full of smoke. The fire department determined that the cause was from my kitchen lighting and I should consider replacing them. I talked to Greg for about 10 minutes describing what had happened. He told me that he wouldn't be able to get someone to me that day but the next day he could, but if things changed he would call and get me in ASAP. In the situation I was in I decided to try to get someone out there that day. Greg called me about 4 hours later to see if I still needed someone to come out that day, but I had already found someone else to come. Regardless the communication with TriStar was awesome, and Greg is the type of person that took the time to explain a lot of different things about lighting that I was not familiar with. Since it was such short notice, they said they weren't sure if they would be available, but they emailed all of their service techs and found someone who was available. He came out this morning and did a very thorough job and made us feel very at ease that there was no damage. He even pointed out that they were offering a $20 off service call coupon through Angie's List. We were very happy with them. We would recommend them to anyone.

What a great experience. I had reached out to a few different companies, but Greg was the only one who made the effort to reach out and call to discuss my project of installing two dual head flood lights and give helpful advice and an estimate. On the day of the installation his two guys showed up right on time. They were professional and did an excellent job with the installation and placement of the lights. Would definitely hire again!

It went fine. I called the co. on 3/7 and scheduled the visit for the repair on 3/14. Deb and her assistant checked the bathroom fan replaced the motor. Since it was relatively new, they recommended a surge protector for my home and installed it, too. I was only disappointed that the fan no longer has an automatic timing switch because they replaced it, too. I used a coupon available on their website to reduce the cost.

They did a fantastic job. They were on time and were done in under 1 hour. They explained what was wrong and what repairs were to be made. The cost came in where I thought it would. I will use and do recommend them.
