Description of Work: Replace hot water heater.

Description of Work: The price was about $300 higher than the plumber I chose.

Description of Work: Rapid response to plumbing problem -- noise, vibration in pipes upstream from basement ejector pump. Arrived with needed parts. Explained likely causes & cost to fix each. Quickly disgnosed stuck check valve, they had a replacement on truck, quickly changed & tested it. Clearly explained the fix & charged a fair price. Total pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: I had a leak in the kitchen ceiling coming from the master shower and had water from the 2nd bath tub that was somehow escaping out onto the floor when the shower was used. I knew that there were some issues with the master shower door, but wasn't sure if the water was from that or from a leak in the shower pan. Dean came out and did an inspection on the Master shower. He said that is was highly probably that the leak into the kitchen was from the faulty door. He told me I could put a tower down and watch it over the next couple of day, but if I wanted to futher rule out other things it might be he could cut into the kitchen ceiling. For peace of mind and to avoid an addition call in the future if it was in fact not the faulty door, I had Dean cut into the ceiling. He did a couple of test and it was confirmed that the leak was due to the shower door in the master. He also inspected the 2nd bath. He determined that the tub was at a slight slant. He told me that a slap guard might solve the problem. If not, he told me that the other options were possibly installing a shower door or a curved shower rod. Dean looked at couple of plumbing items for me and gave me estimates. He even adjusted the chain inside of one toilet at no cost. Dean was very professional and explained everything to me which I really appreciate. Inspection of master shower and cut into ceiling: $147 Inspection of 2nd bath:$100 Total: $247 The total amount time spent was about an hour to complete both inspections. So $247 seems pretty high to me, but I don't know what the going rate for a plumber is. Overall was satisfied with the service I recieved.
