We called Heil Plumbing because we woke up to a rarely used toilet overflowing. After containing the damage, we called for an appointment. The phone was answered immediately and we got an appointment slot for just a few hours later. Ike was a bit later than expected, but I got a phone call when that he was running late but was on his way. Ike was very clear in his evaluation of the problem. I was fine with the price, and he did the work quickly. Afterwards he took a look at another problem and provided a quote. We are very pleased with response, work, and price. We will definitely be using Heil Plumbing in the future!

From start to finish, Mr Heil and his team provided cost-effective, timely and exceptional service. Every aspect of the our project scope of work was attended to, with care and diligence, including contracting, permitting, excavation, interior plumbing, and landscaping. Clean up of the worksite was done very day w/in the house and in the front yard. Our family was very appreciative of the quick timeline as we were in process of transitioning between homes. I would highly recommend Heil plumbing, for small and large plumbing projects.

Everything went smoothly. The tech was a wee bit late, but was very quick to get the job done. There are deals on Angie's list for cheaper garbage disposal installs, but I went with this plumber because their office is very close to my home and I wanted to give them the business.

I needed to fill in a pool that hasn't been used in thirty years. The Heil Company got back to me right away, got all permits, performed the job in a day, stuck to their quote, got the inspection done from the county, and best of all they did the work for half of what others were quoting me to do the exact same thing,

Provider arrived on time and installed the items listed above. I had another issue that I thought was plumbing related and it was suggested that I contact a contractor to correct that issue.

They were on time and the work was completed. My major gripe was the price. I probably should've asked for multiple quotes from different plumbers, but based on the positive Angie's reviews I figured the prices were competitive and reasonable. I was charged $365 to replace the hose bib and $145 to cut a hole in the drywall (more on that later). The entire work was performed in about an hour. I didn't have any context for the price to perform this service until my neighbor recently had the same service performed by another plumber. The same exact work with same parts was being performed for $185 -- over $300 less. This is a minor gripe, but they needed to access the pipes through the dry wall in my house. He explained they'd have to cut a hole out of the dry wall inside my interior foyer wall. I was hesitant to cut a hole out of my painted walls, but upon my asking if they could access the pipes from the other side in the garage, he took some measurements and agreed that they could remove the dry wall within the garage if I preferred. What kind of question is that? Would I rather have you cut a hole out of painted interior walls, or from inside my garage? And I had to ask if you would do that? Meanwhile the plumber who came to replace my neighbor's hose bib was removing the dry wall from inside the garage. Anyway, what's done is done. They came on time and performed the work as specified. Just make sure you shop around for pricing. I can't help but feel I overpaid significantly for 1 hour of labor and that just leaves a bad lasting impression on me.

He said that he would be at my house at 7:30 and they were. Excellent service. Weren't afraid of my two dogs in fact my dogs were didn't even bark at them. The whole job of installation took just over an hour. Would recommend them to any I know.

I called this morning at approx 9:15 am and spoke to a very nice young lady. She took a moment and listened to my issue, asked me to hold, and when she came back gave me the price for what I thought it was as well as the price for what else could be needed. The prices were in line with others I had touched base with, but they were able to have someone out in an hour!!! Fabulous, considering I had to keep changing the bowl the water was running into. Ike got here right time, fixed the issue, cleaned up, told me about another issue and the pricing and was extremely professional and pleasant!! I told him, we will be asking for him when we call for the next repair. To make this all the better, there is a coupon that I completely forgot about on Angie's list, so I called at 1pm and told her I forgot about the coupon. She is adjusting my bill!!! I love these people.

They came the very morning we called, showing up at the scheduled time. He tried extremely hard to simply replace the cartridge, which we knew probably wouldn't happen as we had tried to remove the cartridge the day before. It turned out we had to remove the entire mixer, which was done quickly, in a quality manner, and the new piping and fixtures installed. They had all the parts needed on the truck. We are very happy with the results.

We have a blocked AC condensation pipe in the basement, that was overflowing onto the floor. We could not run the AC at all & its was really hot that day and I contacted Heil plumbing. They were able to come out same day. They found where the pipe exited the house, and identified that the builder that put in a terminus , directly into the dirt. The dirt and condensation created a clay that blocked the pipe completely. The Heil team, dug out the pipe, cut the pipe terminus off, and advised me on different options on how to keep it from clogging again in future. Great job, fast response and professional team. I noticed a water line in my ceiling and looked for a plumber immediately. I went to angles list and worked my way down the plumbers on angles list. I came across Joseph Heil plumbing and they were the first that could make it out same day. The plumber that day (Will) was very nice and found that my upstairs toilets wax ring was not done correctly and was causing water to leak out. He decided that it would be best not to put the toilet back on yet so that a contractor could come out and assess the subfloor to make sure that there was no subfloor damage. He wrote on the receipt that they would come back out to put the toilet on again for no charge since it was already included in the price of taking off the toilet. I was very happy with the service for this first go around and would have recommended them to everyone. However the next visit was not pleasing at all. I was not able to be home and my wife was home alone. There were two plumbers and they found that the water regulator valve also needed to be replaced. That is great they found what was missed, however they wanted to then charge a $70 dollar service charge for it then. My wife asked how long it would take to replace and they said just 5 minutes. My problem is that this was all part of the same service and just because you did not find it the first time does not mean you charge me for another service charge, that is completely unacceptable. Needless to say i did not give them 70 dollars to do a 5 minute job and did it myself. I have already told 1 person that needed a plumber to definitely not use this company and will continue to tell anyone else i know that needs a plumber not to use them. I hope that 5 minute job they wanted 70 dollars for that was also part of a job i had already paid for was worth losing a customer and all the referrals that i would have sent their way. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be greedy and I'm glad to know that I have already kept a couple hundred dollars out of their pocket by not sending my friend to them and hope to keep much more out of their pocket in the future.

The toilet leak was sending high power water along the floor and all over my basement... The plumber came in, looked at all the locations and heard our descriptions and said it was probably a blockage in the pipe from the toilet to the outflow sewage pipe - but above all other connections.. He brought in an auger and cleared the blockage - and the toilet runs fine. We were lucky the blockage was so close to the toilet since that meant he did not have to remove the toilet to get rid of it - that kept the price lower than if it needed more work. I was very impressed with how he explained what was wrong, what the steps would be to fix it, fixed it and was done.

Service was provided same-day which was fantastic. He was prompt and worked diligently. He was knowledgable and discussed the problems clearly. Professional and polite worker.

Edward came and gave us a fair and fully detailed estimate. Was extremely kind, gracious, and professional. Appreciated all his advice and direction. Cannot find the words to describe the crew and reflection of the company as a whole. They are truly professionals who are informative and take joy and pride in their work. They are patient and went above and beyond. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!

It was good but a little bit expensive. They came promptly, were very professional and polite. I thought they did an excellent job.

They removed the old hot water heater and installed the new water heater with a extended warranty kit and code updated requirements. All the work was done professionally and within the scheduled time frame and quoted estimate.

Fantastic service! Will did a great job. We had been told by a previous contractor that these jobs were going to be more difficult than they seem. Will, from Heil, made small work of them. He was prompt on arrival, explained what he needed to do, and got it done faster that I could believe. It's been over a week since the work was done, and there's been no issues at all.

I had a leak in the main water line to my house. I contacted Heil Plumbing on Tuesday morning. Ed Heil came to my house within three hours and gave me estimates on the spot to replace 20 feet (where it seemed the leak was coming from) of the line coming into the house or to replace the entire line if necessary. I got a call later that afternoon scheduling the job for Wednesday, the next day. On Wednesday morning it started raining and it was pretty clear that it was going to be raining all day. Ed called and said that they would have to reschedule the job because of the weather and they wouldn?t be able to get to it until the following Monday. While my situation wasn?t a true emergency it was wearing on my nerves and I was anxious to get the problem resolved. I asked Ed if there was any way they could fit the job in before Monday ? he said he would look into it, but couldn?t promise anything. They called early the next morning saying they could do the work that day. Joeseph Heil (Ed?s son, and grandson of the company founder) showed up around 9:00am with a two-person crew and a large backhoe. They dug a single hole in my yard with the backhoe and located the water line which they cut about 20 feet from the house. They fed a cable through the waterline into the house then used the backhoe to pull out the old pipe out and pulled in the new replacement pipe at the same time. They located the leak in the old pipe and concluded that I didn?t need to replace the rest of the original line. Ed and his crew connected the new pipe, filled the hole, patched the basement wall, and cleaned up everything. They even replanted two bushes and put down top soil and grass seed where the backhoe had made ruts in the yard. They completed the entire job in about four hours. I expected my entire front yard to be torn up, but when they left you could hardly tell that they had been there. In summary, Heil Plumbing handled all aspects of the job in excellent fashion.

I joined Angie?s List to find a local, family owned and operated plumbing company to replace my water service. I don?t usually write reviews but am making an exception in this case because of the outstanding service, quality of workmanship and professionalism of their employees. We had a slow leak prior to our main shut off valve and didn?t want to use the TV ad plumbers as they are expensive. Someone has to pay for their advertising. I got quotes from three companies and Heil?s was substantially less than the other two and required much less excavation. I contacted Heil's Plumbing to request an estimate and had an appointment the next day. Though I requested an estimate for the replacement of the service, new water line from meter to house, I was given two options by Ed Heil. They could replace just the defective copper inside or they could replace the underground copper service line and the copper inside as well. The inside only replacement option would have saved me a substantial amount of money by doing only what was immediately necessary. But, because the house is 60 plus years old I opted for the full service replacement. I received a contract via email which I signed and returned. I was then given an appointment date and told that they would arrive between 7:00 and 7:30AM. Three men arrived at 7:30, told me when they were going to shut the water off, and went about their work of replacing my water service. At 10:45 the replacement was complete and our water was back on. They completed their cleanup and left at 11:30. I watched everything because I am a person who likes to know how everything is done and Joe Heil was very informative and explained the whole process to me. How did they do it so fast you might ask? They are now our plumber of choice!

This was my first experience with Angie's List and it was very positive. I submitted my request late last night and very early this morning had a message in my inbox, indicating I would receive a call at 7:00am. The call came right on time and I was advised that a technician would be deployed within the hour. The technician was punctual and quickly identified and resolved the blockage. He was friendly and professional. I will definitely use this company again if I have any future plumbing needs.

My laundry tub drain had a large hole (where another hose was attached and the connection had rusted out) which allowed water discharged from the washing machine to run all over the floor. Originally, we had thought the problem was from the washing machine itself - a repairman found a problem with the washing machine, but apparently did not notice the drain issue. We eventually replaced the washing machine and found the same issue. I called the Joseph Heil Company in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in between other jobs, so that I could use the new washing machine. They gave me a short window of time, 11 to 11:30 AM, and the plumber was there at that time. He replaced the drain tailpiece, as well as the trap, where he found a crack, to bring everything up to date. He also secured the washing machine discharge hose to the laundry tub. There were some holes in the laundry tub that had been drilled by a previous owner to jury rig some hoses. The plumber explained that was not a typical set-up and told me what I could use to plug the holes. Afterwards, I was able to use the washing machine with no problems. The plumbing was very old and we didn't understand how it was jury rigged with a hose attached to the drain. We felt confident with this provider and were happy to have the whole drain replaced.

Arrived on time to the minute. Professional and friendly. No sales pressure. Looked for low-cost solution to a longstanding issue-very impressed. Plan to use again after the holidays.

They replaced the tank handle. Initially the toilet flushed; however, several days later, the toilet did not flush. The chain inside the tank was loose, and we had to put it back in place every third time we flushed the toilet. I called Heil to apprise them of the situation. They came out the same day I called. The plumber tightened a mechanism in the tank and it works fine now.

Job proceeded as promised and was completed in a timely matter with excellent clean up and a very professional staff
