Great, they let me provide my own parts which were cheaper and I was able to return them without restocking (which I would have if they provided parts). They were very reasonably priced in any event.

Many of the larger jobs Heil Plumbing performed in my narrow, middle unit TH required ingenuity due to significant space limitations. However, Heil has always been able to come up with viable solutions. Additionally, everyone at Heil Plumbing is respectful and timely in their communications and work performance. I highly recommend Heil Plumbing for any job, large or small!

My husband put too much food in the garbage disposal and clogged the drain under the kitchen sink. It was so bad, it blew up like a geyser when he tinkered with it. He tried calling numerous plumbers on Angie's List who could come on that day because we couldn't use the kitchen sink. Heil Plumbing answered the call and sent out a nice young man and his partner who cleaned out my kitchen pipe within a few hours. They did a great job and cleaned the mess up. We were grateful for their quick turnaround and decent price.

They are high in cost but they have excellent service, outstanding communications and very professional. A+++! Just a little high perhaps in cost. I suggest giving them a call, they're great.

They showed up in time and on time. Courteous, efficient, fast. This was on a Saturday, after 3:00 pm.

Had work performed in early August and so far no problems. Very professional repair job which only took a few hours start to finish. They might have been a little more careful with the lawn, but otherwise I am very happy with the result.

A few days before a planned vacation I noticed my cold water intake PVC pipe was leaking. I called several plumbers. Ed came out to my house within 2 hours of my call. He assessed the situation, gave me an estimate and told me his crew could fix the problem the next day. The crew came on time the next day as promised. They dug a hole in my yard by hand, pulled the new pipe through the old one, filled in the hole, planted new grass seed and cleaned up in the basement. They were very professional. Everything was cleaned up and you would hardly notice the work that was done. They did a very good job. I was very happy that my vacation was not interrupted.

Excellent. The service was excellent -- loved the "timed" aspect of the visit. Don't have to pay for trips to hardware store or additional hiccups. Found and corrected another issue with the toilets as well and was very knowledgeable. I found our new plumber!

As Ed promised, he came by and assessed the situation. He looked at both the sewer access as well as the water meter in the ground. Thankfully both looked good and Ed confirmed he thought it was indeed from ground moisture and the driveway not having proper foundation. Not only did Ed not charge for coming and looking, but he gave me the number of an asphalt company. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable. I would now use this company for any future plumbing need.

They were very easy to reach via phone and set up an appointment. They arrived right on time in the morning and completed the work very quickly. Very professional.

The charge was a little steep but the quality of work made it worth it. The drain that was ordered wasn't a great fit for the installation but the quality workers were able to modify it to fit the installation. it rained hard last week and the drain worked like a champ. Well done Heil!

We are most pleased with the faucet installations and repairs by Heil Plumbing. The service person, Ike, was great! He very clearly knew what he was doing, did it efficiently, and was very pleasant and responsive when I asked questions. I couldn't have asked for more. Will use Heil again.

We put in an emergency call on a Sunday. The service man was punctual, courteous. He inspected the situation. The pipes from the well were frozen. He also found that a switch/valve was no rusty and no longer functioning. We unfroze the well using a space heater and a blow torch. He replaced the faulty switch (not sure of correct name of part). The well is back to normal.

Had a leak at toilet intake valve, called their office, and they came within a couple of hours. Marvelous service. Eddie clearly knew what he was doing; was fabulous.

The first time, I contacted several plumbers, several did not show up, some prices were the twice the others. Joesph Heil gave a good estimate, was professional. It appeared that they cared about giving a good estimate and providing great service. They came out and replaced the supply line from the street to the meter in the basement. They were on time, courteous, punctual, did a great clean up job. Came back later as the ground outside settled and added dirt and more seed. When a year later I needed to get some shower faucets replaced, a new hot water heater, and a difficult supply line to a toilet. I did not bother with any other estimates. Again, on time, great job, cleaned up. etc. I would recommend Joseph Heil for any plumbing work that you need done.

Our toilet would not flush properly and we could not shut the water off either. I called Joseph Heil after reading reviews on Angie's List. Although I called two other providers (and did get a return call), my needs had already been met when I spoke to Tim the office manager, who was available to speak with me on the first try. He explained the cost to send someone out, and provided a range of charges depending on what needed to be done. We scheduled an appointment at my home the following morning between 7:30 - 8:00am. Will arrived promptly at 7:25AM so was ready to go at 7:30!! He was polite and knew his business, quickly assessed what needed to be done, and gave me an estimate. He fixed up my leaky toilet and replaced the valve. The two tiny things (kitchen and shower fixture) took him two minutes and I was not charged, which I thought was extremely fair. He also provided a recommendation of two things we should keep an eye on, including an older pressure valve, as they were old and likely to need replacement in the future. He stressed they did NOT need to be done now, but what we should look for and the price range for Joseph Heil to replace them in future. This was an excellent, flawless experience. I'd not only call Joseph Heil again in future, but would recommend to any of my friends and neighbors.

Very professional and courteous. Cleaned up after their work. It was the best experience I have ever had with a plumber. They are locally owned and very responsive - unlike some of the very large companies. The pricing was reasonable and they worked with me on the options of which replacement tank to use.

They were very professional. They came to my house few times and each time they came on time and always courteous. I did not shop around and based on my initial experience with them I felt comfortable and went ahead with them.

The plumber that came out was very friendly, informative, and upfront, and the work was reasonably priced. We've used Joseph Heil Co. several times in the past, and this has always been our experience. It's a family run business, and you get the sense that they treat both their employees and their customers like family. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I can't say enough about the people who work for Joesph Heil & Company. I had a sewer backup, on the weekend of course. I called three companies for help. Joseph Heil had a plumber in my house in less than an hour, whereas the other two companies did not even call me back for at least two hours after I had left a message. The plumber on call, Will was professional, friendly and worked hard and quickly to unblock my sewer line which among other problems had roots in it. On Monday Eddie arrived with a camera and inspected the sewer line, laid out three options for me and the costs. By Wednesday Joe and his crew were in my yard attacking the sewer line. These people were extremely accomodating to my questions and concerns. As "luck" would have it, the sewer line ran through several flower and azalea beds. They did their best to minimize damage, refilled the trench and graded the surface. They were super; they got it done in one day.

From some perspectives, the work was a bit of a mixed success, but the entire situation ended up with us deciding to be Heil Plumbing customers for the long run, including for some planned bathroom and kitchen renovations (when we can afford it). Saturday afternoon, I came home from work and smelled an odd "wet" smell. After some hunting, we found that water had pooled around the water heater/furnace area and spread from that corner into three adjacent rooms. Drying up the puddles, it appeared to be coming from the water heater. We called Heil Plumbing (having heard about them from a coworker as well as Angie's List) and they had someone out within hours. He replaced the water heater, noting that it must have been broken on the bottom because the top looked fine. We'd turned the water off to the heater and no more water was coming out. However, Monday morning, I went down to find just as much water as we'd seen over the weekend. It turned out that the water heater hadn't been the problem at all. When I called the plumbing company, they had someone back at our house within the hour. He fixed the issue (which turned out to be a broken pipe draining condensation from the furnace) and then wanted to discuss how to make the entire situation better. For personal financial reasons, this could not have come at a worse time, but Heil really tried to make it right. They have agreed to reimburse us for the emergency surcharge of the heater fix and take $100 off the usual cost of installing the new water heater. They did the actual fix to the furnace line itself at no additional charge and were even nice enough to fix a small faucet issue in the kids' bathroom for no additional charge. Yes, we could have fought for more, especially because this was such a bad time for the expense of replacing a functional water heater to hit us. But on the other hand, they could have chosen to be difficult about the entire situation and were not. Instead, they owned up to a mistake and made it right with such professionalism and courtesy that we will happily go back to them again. Given that we have an older house that will no doubt need additional emergency fixing, having a plumbing company we can trust means the world. A mistake can happen to anyone--what you do after that builds your reputation as a company.

My kitchen faucet & sprayer were both having issues with low water pressure. I called Joseph Heil Plumbing and the receptionist was very responsive, polite and informative - A+ for that; she also informed me that there would be a $95 service charge fee just for coming out to see what the problem was, even if I decided not to let them fix it. The service men (there were two of them) came out on time, even early (again, another A+ for that since it very rarely happens). Both men put covers over their shoes when they entered the house, that was also nice. The water pressure coming out of the faucet was almost nothing, just a trickle - plumber took the faucet apart and cleared out some mineral build up with his fingers and the water pressure was good. Very easy fix, which took about 2 minutes.
