Description of Work: Classic Granite installed a new counter top for my kitchen island. From the moment I went into their facility, they were very helpful. They guided us through the showroom pointing out various types of granite and then helped us focus in on the colors were were looking for. Once we chose a few, samples were given to us to take home and review. They also gave us an upfront estimate on how much the counter and installation would cost. All prices for the sq. foot include installation. My Add on's included any type of ridge and removal of the old counter top...at reasonable rates. Since I had no cut outs or sink installation, it was a fairly simple job. After choosing the specific slab of granite ( I was offered 3 large slabs to choose from in their warehouse), they came out and measured my job. We also discussed the new design of the top since I decided to expand the island. The two gentlemen who did this were very professional - measuring with a special piece of equipment and then we proceeded to design the new top on his lap top computer. Following this, they went back to the shop and had their designer send me two views using my measurements and different parts of the granite slab to ensure I would be happy with the final piece. On installation day they came out on time and installed everything in 40 minutes. My only recommendation is that it turned out that I needed Corbels to hold up the counter in strategic areas. Classic Granite does not carry these...so it was left up to me to find them. Neither Lowes or Home Depot carries them in stock...and the ones online were limited. I improvised by buying 4 very sturdy metal book shelf brackets and had them ok'd by the installer at Classic Granite before the installation. I would suggest that since Classic Granite is in the business of installing that they carry a selection of these brackets or Corbels for the customer to choose from. Otherwise I am totally happy with my new counter and have recommended Classic Granite to a number of my neighbors

Description of Work: Received new granite countertops. The sales person, Andy, was professional, onetime, knowledgable, and helpful in making decisions regarding granite types. The installers did a great job. They installed a new sink and faucet as part of the service. Everything exceeded our expectations.
