Classic Granite & Marble

They did a fantastic job. We worked with a woman named Jean and she was very helpful. We don't know much about granite and choices. She helped us narrow it down to what worked for us for our kitchen.

They were able to install even when weather caused the entire area to shut down. They rearranged their schedule a bit, but installation was done on time. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. We are very happy with the quality of materials, service and scheduling. We would recommend them to everyone.

Everything went well. The estimator, the person doing the final measurements, the installation team and the person who came later to re-seal the counter tops were all very punctual, very courteous and very neat. The island in the kitchen was actually a movable island. The installation team anchored the island to the floor and installed two braces for support of the overhang before installing the granite counter top - all for safety's sake. We would certainly re-hire them for another job.

They did such a beautiful job and my kitchen looks awesome! I am SO glad I got on Angie's list before I chose a company and I'm SO glad I chose this one! VERY happy!

The real gem here is Meghan- sales rep/coordinator extraordinaire! She made the experience wonderful- easy going and so efficient. She never seemed bothered by our questions and concerns. She never rushed us along and really took time with us to meet our needs. When I walked back in the store a month later unannounced- she recognized me immediately and remembered details of our job- quite impressive. All in all a very good experience and thought the total price was very good as it included all cuts, edges, installation and sealing. We had never shopped for granite, or countertops for that matter, prior to this recent purchase- Classic Granite was fantastic all around.

Meghan Simmons was very professional, and great to deal with, and so was everyone else. The countertops look beautiful.

I did a lot of research before settling on Classic Granite & Marble. I found they had the best price and the best customer service as well. I am ecstatic about my new countertops and I would highly recommend them.

Great company! Good experience. They were great at explaining "the world of granite" to me, and had a very helpful showroom and reps to explain the differences and options. They were able to give me a general estimate on the spot, which was great for budgeting, and their timeline for installation was spot on. Went well and they look fantastic! I wish I had done it sooner.

We had an overall positive experience witht he company. The original installers left a larger than normal gap between our countertop and stove. Upon inspection they used a 2X4 as a support rather than fabricating something more discreet. The 2x4 was too big and it through off the spacing. When we complained, one of the managers came over to look at it and scheduled a time for it to be fixed. It was a pain having the installers come out twice but in the end they made t right and the company sent us a check for $100 for our trouble. I would use them again.

Good selection of products from high to low price range. Punctual for the measuring and templating. Their price included the ogee edge that is normally extra at other granite fabricators. A heavy duty stainless steel sink was also included in the price. So much better than another granite fabricator I used for a bathroom.

I went in on April 25th, 2013 to confirm my 2nd granite choice. My first choice was a one of a kind slab that they assured me even though it was fragile, that it would be no problem. 2 days after confirming the layout they dropped and shattered my first pick. So... as I said I went back and picked another slab. Before I left their office I was told that the installation date would be Friday 5/3 between 9-10. a few days later I got an email from the manger stating they would be there on 5/3 between 9-10. Then I got another call from my designer's office saying that the granite install would be between 9-10. I took off a half day of work and at 11:00 had still not heard or seen anyone from Classic. When I called they told me I was on their schedule for 1-3. REALLY!!! When I said that was a mistake that I had an email from the manager they put him on the phone and he told me he would check it out and call me back in 10 minutes. An house later no phone call. I called back and refused to take my call. Got to love that customer service!! Finally showed up at my house at 1:30 with no apologies for the confusion. To add injury to insult one of the installers not realizing it was me and not one of his fellow installers made an obviously rude comment as he turned bright red and apologized profusely. The funny thing was I didn't even hear what he said!! This is supposedly one of the best installers in the business, wow the rest must have great customer service.

Overall we had a great experience with this company. When visiting the showroom we noticed how crowded it was! This was a great sign to us that the company was so popular. The company had beautiful slabs of granite to choose from and had some colors that I had never seen before. The prices were fantastic and the guy who actually did the install did a seamless job. The employees who work at the company itself were very friendly and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this company.

Overall a VERY positive experience from the showroom to the completion of countertop installation. The showroom is neat, organized and showroom personnel are very helpful and knowledgeable. We were there on a Saturday and it was very busy and the sales associate kept apologizing for our wait, which we really felt we had not waited at all. The warehouse where granite was kept was also well organized with a great selection. The next step was having the template done and the gentleman who was sent out was pleasant, and brought up a few details to consider for the day of installation which was very helpful. Finally, the day of installation the crew arrived on time and immediately began working. Our countertops were tile with grout and required a significant amount of labor to remove causing some small damage to drywall, but nothing more than a small amount of drywall spackle, sanding and paint touch up would not take care of. The countertops were placed with care and precision and we could not be happier with the new look for our kitchen! One last small detail. I wished I would have been told what to exactly prepare for regarding, drawers out, lower cabinets emptied. We would have taken care of this the night before, and after they were completed I was left to wash pots and pans and vacuum out the lower cupboards, but not a huge deal. We are very pleased with Classic Granite!

It was perfect from beginning to end. I've never seen anything like that. From measurment to fabrication to installation was great.

Very professional. Visited their showroom and was treated like we were the only customer they had to take care of. Andy answered all of our questions regarding whether to use Granite or Marble or a synthetic stone. The installation was done as promised and on budget. One small misunderstanding was that they would not reinstall the cooktop which would have been nice to know when we made the arrangements. However, the appliance dealer was very accommodating and came back to install.

Overall it went very well. The only glitch was that they got the wrong day for the plumber to come. He was suppose to come the day after installation, but apparently, when they went to book the day, the wrong "key" was pressed and the wrong day was chosen. No big problem, becuase when I called the next day (when I thought he was coming) to see where the plumber was (he had not arrived at the time I was told he would be there) they realized the problem and the plumber was out the first thing the next day. They were VERY apologetic. My only advice is that you do have to be on top of things. When in doubt, give them a call. They are receptive to calls. I am very satisfied with the end result. Whenever I go into my kitchen, I smile!

First of all, this process starts with visiting the company to look at the products and then to discuss the installation process and price of the job. My wife and I visited multiple companies and met with the sales people besides reviewing the products available. I used Angies List to narrow down the list to businesses that had favorable reviews and experiences. Cost was a factor, but we appreciate service and quality and don't mind paying a little more for a better product/service. Now, to the experience. Classic Granite and Marble was highly rated and allowed us to feel a bit more comfortable that they would ensure that we were happy with the final product. We visited their company and were very pleased with the abundance of products to choose from and customer care we received. After a few visits here and with other companies, we decided to go with them. The crew arrived on time and were very professional during the process. They performed the installation and overall it looked better than we had imagined. However, we had one issue. One of the joinings of the backsplash didn't flow well with the colors. It was obvious that there was a break at this location and it looked like the piece was flipped to the wrong side. This was done on Saturday so I contacted the company the next week and voiced my concern. They were quick to respond to my concern and offered to build a new piece that would flow and match better to my connecting piece. Originally I thought it would be a quick fix and they could just flip it over, but It wasn't that easy because to finish the other side would drop the overall height and it would no longer match the existing piece. I appreciated that they didn't try to take a shortcut and just flip it over. You get a better understanding of how a company values customer satisfaction when a problem occurs and how they deal with it. On top of resolving my concern, they added a lazy susan made of the same product as my countertop for my troubles. Even though I had a small issue, I still gave them excellent on this service because of how they handled my situation.

We were in desperate need of a new look for our 1980's kitchen! However, I was nervous about getting a new counter installed hoping the connections to our existing plumbing would not be a problem. The team at Classic was fantastic from my initial appointment to the completed project. I strongly considered going with Home Depot, but saw how highly recommended Classic was on Angie's list. I made an appointment and after a short wait discussed my project with a sales person and gave her my sketches of our kitchen along with measurements to get an estimate. She worked out the square footage, then took me to the slab warehouse to look at granite pieces. As a creative person this was sooooo much more satisfying than looking at the small squares Home Depot displays. You also get a chance to choose the exact slab you want, which is great because some granite has lots of variations. She explained how it comes from the ground and gave me an idea of pricing for each "grade" of granite. Then I was allowed to look through the warehouse as long as I like (and I was there for a lonnnggg time) to list stones I wanted samples of. She gave me the samples with pricing for each and a clear estimate explaining the entire process. Additionally I came back to be sure of my choice and they let me take my time once more. After signing a contract the installation day came. Two gentlemen came on time, installed the counters and the sink, cleaned everything and left my newly painted dining area (where bartop is located) completely unharmed. I also must say they said they needed a seam in my countertop, and I was not happy. But the seam is nearly undetectable! I always challenge my guest to find it! The work those guys did was nothing short of ASTOUNDING! I was once again nervous that the plumber would take a long time, but less than 30min later the plumber arrived to re-connect the sink and dishwasher with no issues. The only reason I gave a "B" for responsiveness is because I called a month later to see if they still had the remnant of my slab because I had reconsidered having a granite backsplash installed. I was told the slab was there and someone would call me with an estimate but I never heard back from them. However, this would not deter me from using them again and recommending them to everyone I know! The work and service was awesome. And my daughter loves the Keurig hot chocolate in the waiting room!

Great experience! Showroom is very organized and you are given a guide specific to your project so you know exactly how much you will be spending. Knowledgeable salespeople and installation crew. Everyone was very professional and the beautiful granite counter top was installed without a hitch! You may be able to find granite for slightly less money elsewhere but the experience here makes it worth any extra cost.

Service was excellent from start to finish!!The owner Andy came to our home, at the initial stages, to provide cost estimates for all of the work to be performed. He gave pricing for each grade of granite and was quite thorough and friendly, when providing answers to all of my questions and concerns. Andy stated that my husband and I should come in to the showroom and look at slabs, in order to select one that we liked. Since we had the pricing for each grade of stone, we knew which levels we could look at, based on our budget, upon arrival. The frnot desk associates were very friendly in staying open and hour later to accomodate my husband's hectic work schedule, so that we could look at slabs. When we arrived, we were walked through the showroom, by an associate, so that we could ask questions throughout the entire process. The selection and quality of the stone slabs was amazing and definitely beat out the competitors stones we had looked at earlier. A week later we decided to go with Classic Marble and Granite and came in to look at our selection one more time. We made the appointment in advance, as they wanted us to select our slab the day we came in to make our deposit. When we arrived, the slabs were layed out for us to view and an associate was with us the entire time to answer questions and make recommendations. We selected our slab and went in to the offices to go through paperwork and make our deposit. The process was very organized and speedy. It was also explained that the other half of the payment would be due at installation. We booked two dates before we left, one for exact measurements to be taken and one for the install. On installation day, the team was very punctual and friendly. They answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had. The first crew arrived to install the counters and sink and like clockwork, when they left, the plumber arrived to install the faucet and soap dispenser and perform the plumbing hookup. The plumber actually installed brand new plumbing under our sink and was also quite friendly and thorough. Both crews allowed me to fully inspect their work before they left and allowed me to ask any questions while they were on site. They were VERY clean and took great care to cover the carpeting and kitchen flooring, while working. Overall, the experience was a great one and the staff really cared about the level of service they provided!!

Company did it all, no subs. They measured cut and installed granite countertops in my kitchen. Workers were pleasent and very professional. My kitchen looks great.

We got their name and location and went out to see the granite that was available. I was excited because you walk into this large warehous with a variety of different types of granite to look at. They explained how the pricing was different on some and which ones were most popular. They stayed with us for about an hour and a half. Once we narrowed it down to 3 choices they gave us pricing for those and explained the sinks that were available. They took into consideration our kithen layout and what we thought we needed. We then took the information home, made some final decisions, called for an appointment and went back and purchased the countertop & sink. An appointment was set up according to our remodeling schedule. They came out once the cabinets were in and took exact measurementsusing a laser. About 10 days later everything was put in and I was thrilled to death. I was very pleased with the entire process and I'm very particular.
