we had excellent service through out. An amazing sales man who returned and took care of everything for us so our pool was constructed on time for a special reunion.

Extremely poor workmanship and total lack of project management on site. Have filed claim against Anthony & Sylvan through The Better Business Bureau and MHIC for reimbursement.

Rep came and provided a quote. After that we heard nothing from the rep (Doug) unless we emailed him. He generally never responded but when he did it was with a vague response. Once he said he needed to stop by on Thursday. Did not tell us why, never showed up, never called. We know they are very busy now but either tell us they can’t work with us until next year for example or tell us they can’t do it. A waste of everyone’s time.

The pool install was timely considering the pandemic circumstances. I think more explanation could have been provided for some of the material choices, but overall the pool turned out beautifully.

Timely and easy to work with, design was great , people were courteous and respectful, sub contractors were great !!

Anthony & Sylvan is an exceptional company. The Project Manager was involved daily and very hands on. Most impressive, they were timely at every stage of the project and responsively addressed questions. The New Pools Scheduler was beyond professional and courteous and he truly helped to ensure everything remained on target. This outstanding service stemmed from the very top -- we cannot speak highly enough about the General Manager -- his ability to mitigate obstacles and make the experience free of worry not only reflected his utmost concern for customer satisfaction, but was genuine and a rare quality in today's busy world. Anthony & Sylvan, with the excellent efforts of these individuals, deserves an A+ in all parameters. I would highly refer them to anyone.

A&S did an amazing job. This is the second Pool we had them build for us (moved to a new house). They continue to do an amazing job! Project manager was fantastic!

The construction went well even during these times of COVID 19. Tom was a great PM and the service and quail was top notch.

From start to finish I was very pleased. Starting with our salesperson, to our project manager and the various contractors all were helpful, hardworking, and responsive. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend Anthony and Sylvan. We are very pleased with how everything turned out and enjoying our new pool.

the refurbished coping and tile turned out better than the original and the mastic was great addition. They did an excellent job.

I chose A&S over other bidders for this project because their very kndgeable expert Hart Berkowitz had all the answers allowing me to make the right choices for this project, and offered a very competitive price. As planned, most work was done in the late fall, and the final finish was applied just before we filled the pool for the 2020 summer season. The last punch-list items were completed on time -- but just, a few hours before our grandchildren arrived for the Memorial Day holiday. The process could have been smoother, however. All major work -- demolition and sandblasting, installation of new coping and tile, and the final application of a plaster finish to the interior -- was done by subcontractors without an A&S representative present. Communicating in English with these subs was difficult to impossible. The tiling sub also carelessly left much excess mortar to harden in lumps, interfering with the installation of new decking. My deck contractor charged me $500 extra for the hours it took to clean up the mess, which would have taken the subcontractor only a few minutes to clean up had he done it when the mortar was still wet. I also was often left in the dark about when work was going to be scheduled. Calls and messages to the A&S scheduler wouldn't be returned for days. A simple "I'll know more in a few days" would have been better than silence. I also wish I had been fully aware of how messy it is to sandblast the old finish off the pool interior. The sandblasting contractor took pains to clean up the worst of the grit from the adjacent deck area, but fine dust and grit also landed on porch furniture 15 feet away and inside a screen porch. I was hosing and cleaning for hours, which I could have avoided if I had covered all my outdoor stuff with disposable plastic sheeting. In the end, it was all worth the effort. We get many compliments on the pool, which is lovely and now looks ready for another 30 years.

DO NOT TRUST THEIR FACEBOOK REVIEWS AS THEY DELETE ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS----This company does not give you honest estimates and will misrepresent local codes to up-sell you. They quoted me 3x higher than other pool companies because they "were required by code" to do unnecessary work that applies to commercial code. I had very specific asks about what I wanted and was ignored and quoted for much more than what I wanted and they were completely unreasonable when I asked to remove things that were unnecessary (upgrading to 2" piping is the only way to improve efficiency per A&S which is not true, a 1.85 VS HP pump would also improve filtration even w/ our 1.5" piping). When the customer rep did reach out to me, it was very hostile in my opinion and while I was already very agitated, the rep did not seem to really be focused on resolving the issue as much as expressing to me that they don't condone repeated negative comments on fb (which I only commented additionally after they deleted the first, which of course he denies so it magically deleted itself then he deleted my subsequent posts AND you'll notice on their fb they have zero negative visitor posts). He tried justifying the misleading info from his sales rep. He then tried to question my knowledge to justify them up-selling me. They can try to justify and deny deleting my comment but it's gone, so I don't need to say much more about that because the proof is in the pudding. Go on their fb and notice they have NO negative comments. If you want to claim you didn't delete it and then magically their were 4 others, why did you delete them all especially given they said, "DONT TRUST FB REVIEWS THEY REMOVE THE NEGATIVE ONES." An honest company would respond, not delete. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT HONEST. I'd highly recommend any other pool company. Whatever response I get to this is a joke because the customer service team is taught how to skate around the truth just like their sales team.

Their work has always been "top-notch." Over the last 25 years, they replaced the tile twice, repaired the coping stones when needed, and last summer installed all new modern coping stones. This spring they are scheduled to re-plaster the pool for the second time in 25 years. They also assist with deck renovation by applying the mastic between the coping and surrounding pool deck. We are always pleased with results of their work. They provide the cost of the work upfront and always stick to the agreed price. Scheduling is tricky as it depends on the weather but once they begin the work, they stick with it until it is done without much downtime for use of the pool.

Heating element was bad; they replaced it on the spot, and it was running within an hour! Also gave me good advice on how to keep it from happening in the future.

Excellent from the get-go. The initial meeting with the renovation specialist (Tony) was great - provided us ideas of colours for tiles and coping, etc. and thoroughly explained the costs, process, timing; the contractors showed up on time, were professional, courteous and did an excellent job of demolition, tiling, plaster and clean-up all within a 3 day period. The office staff were excellent about checking how things were going and if everything was running smoothly. This was well worthwhile and the job was done as promised, on time, and with an excellent result. Anthonysylvan built my pool 20 years ago and it held up very well, just wanted a fresh look - completely satisfied and highly recommend this company who stuck to the plan as promised. Pool looks fabulous and I'm thrilled with the results.

Always responsive to customer needs. The staff in is in all respects very respectful and professional. Quality and timely service. Highly recommend both installation and service divisions.

The work went smoothly, each of the subcontractors used by Anthony & Sylvan were wonderful. They were knowledgeable, answered any questions we had, arrived when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, and were extremely pleasant to work with. The Anthony & Sylvan crew were great from Doug (sales guy), Jeremy & Tyler (project managers) very responsive to our needs and questions. Would recommend highly.

Things went well. Project took longer than expected but tuned out exactly how we wanted it built. Built 18ft x 40ft gunite pool, all equipment and heater were installed, upgraded plaster to crystal stones smooth which turned out amazing, and had about 1000sqft of paver patio installed around the pool.

The pool is beautiful and the most fun ever. We continue to retain the service.

Anthony and Sylvan did a fantastic job on our pool. Tom Bowers made the design and consultation process so simple and spent a lot of time designing the pool to exactly what we wanted. At all points in the process, information was just a call away. We are nearly a year into pool ownership and we'd easily make the same decision to go with Anthony and Sylvan again.

Company fixed 3 cracked coping stones. Works is seamless and blends well. Was do e efficiently. Grade A work.

I'm honestly confused as to how I am forced into writing this. I initially spoke to someone who asked me to email pictures. I went out and took the pictures and sent them, and never got any response. I tried calling (almost impossible to reach a human) and emailing multiple times. This is a complete waste of my time. It's a simple job, just doing some PVC plumbing, I have no idea what's going on, but I'm done here.
