They gave us daily updates, and consulted with us frequently to make sure they were doing everything that we needed. The finished product was everything that we had hoped for.

Our bathroom remodeling with Taylor Made Custom Contracting went very smoothly. They were very organized, professional and respectful of the space they were working in. One of the reasons I selected Taylor Made Custom Contracting was because of their warranty on their work. Two years after the completion of my bathroom, a drawer was not opening properly. Within 2 days, Doug was at my house to fix the drawer. Not only did he fix the drawer, but he spent a full day fixing nail pops from the settling of the initial job, and painting it to make the bathroom great again!

I contacted Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc after an extremely bad storm which damaged the siding on my house. Kevin and Suzanne responded immediately to my request to have someone inspect my house and perform the repairs as soon as possible. At first I was very stressed out since my family and I were away on vacation and did not know the extent of the repairs required. The next day the repairs were completed (less than 24 hours) and I came home to find everything in tact ! I have used Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc in the past for a kitchen remodeling and would highly recommend them for any home improvements, repairs or upgrades! I would give them a 10 if the rating would go that high.

GREAT! We had major redesign and renovation work done by TMCC in early 2015, including two complete bathrooms. We love everything they did and have been enjoying the results ever since. Recently we had two minor problems, one of which I caused myself when trying to change a burned out recessed light bulb in the shower ceiling. I emailed Kevin for a recommendation on who to call for help, and got a very prompt response that he would send someone out to take care of it. That man came in less than two days and resolved both problems very effectively and to our great satisfaction. Furthermore, we weren’t even charged; bothKevin and his colleague said “we stand behind our work.” Considering the original work was done nearly 8 years ago and I caused one of the problems myself, this was great service and way beyond expectations. It just further confirmed that our original decision to hire TMCC was the right choice. We highly recommend them.

I am delighted with the outcome. TM removed the wall between my kitchen and dining room to allow for more light. New white cabinets and gray granite countertops were installed. They put white subway tile for the backsplash, a new fan, and LVP flooring. I would highly recommend them.

Service was excellent, detailed, and professional. While we were out of town, they sent us videos of the progress, and the overall communication was great, very responsive. They even watered our plants and moved some furniture back without us asking. They asked for our feedback before making a decision on the trim, and the carpenters were always pleasant, friendly, and honest. The final bill was exactly as quoted plus an approved increase to handle some unexpected rot they showed us. Work included Andersen windows, slider, exterior water proofing, some carpentry, drywall and interior/exterior trim. Highly recommend for any remodeling or other custom work!

It was time for new windows since the ones we had were original to the house. I called Kevin from Taylor Made because we've used them in the past. The project went very smoothly. The crew came on time, cleaned up every day, and worked efficiently. They were pleasant and caring toward the house and my puppy. If you need new windows, I would recommend Taylor Made.

Over three years ago I fortunate to find Taylor Made Custom Contracting to work with on the remodel of my newly purchased 1959 house in Bel Air. Kevin was a joy to work with and totally got the remodel I was trying to do, which was easier said than done. Some of the features I wanted were nontraditional to say the least, and on top of that I had not actually moved into the house yet. Kevin had the additional pressure of working with me long distance! With all of that on the table, the construction job could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to Kevin's flexibility and the skills of the crew, and lots of texts, emails, calls, and photo tours. I did manage to make a couple of trips to visit while the house was under construction, so I was able to see the process from the framework up to the finish. The first thing I noticed was the complete care that the team took with each phase of the remodel, and the beauty of the finished product. In the end, the finished remodel far exceeded my original vision and three years later I am still in love with my new home. I was so satisfied that I have called on Kevin several times, since the original remodel, for other projects. Last year, Kevin and his team completed a beautiful backyard porch for us, that we still ask ourselves how we did without. Bottom line, I would highly recommend Taylor Made, Kevin, and his entire team. A pleasure to work with and a well made, beautiful finish to any work you may want done in your home or build. Very honest and professional discussion of the scope of work. They came to the house, walked the job site and provided some alternative approaches. We agreed that what the cost of time and materials to complete the railings with current pressure treated lumber would double our budget expectations. Mark Taylor provided some excellent alternative approaches and provided a vendor that could possibly have a solution within our budget. That was very professional to me.

This is a fantastic company. The are professional and friendly. The work was completed in a timely manner (they finished ahead of schedule) and appears to be a very high quality job. I would (and will) hire them again!

Taylor Made repaired my fire place without the need to install an insert. The solution Mr. Taylor came up with was not only Brilliant but saved me a lot of money. Great job and great solution to a potentially dangerous problem. The fire place is now better than new .

I had years worth of windows leaking into the walls that needed to be repaired. They did a very thorough job, not only fixing the damage but making sure that the new windows were installed correctly to keep it from happening again. My request to them was that the job be done right and they delivered 100%. The finish work inside looks great and the care they took outside was top notch as well. The workers were friendly and polite and made a really good effort to make sure they cleaned up every day before leaving. On a logistics note, they were great at responding to communication and letting me know what to expect and when.

I've known Kevin for years since he has helped me renovate rooms in both my homes. When we needed to replace the flooring in my basement, I knew who to call. Taylor Made installed a new waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring so that I don't have to worry about the durability of my floor if we have family over to visit. The whole process went smoothly since I was provided samples and a detailed explanation of the product. The installers were polite, as always, and everything was completed within a few hours. I plan to work with Taylor Made again when I ready for my next project.

Taylor Made Custom Contracting did a wonderful job remodeling my basement which included new flooring, cabinets, counters, windows, kitchen area, and bathroom. Kevin, Suzanne, and Alan were extremely helpful from start to finish. All of their suggestions were in sync with the ideas I had in my head and Kevin made it a reality. With the current pandemic, we were a little concerned about having people in our home but they immediately put us at ease. It was great. They went out of their way to make us happy and we indeed were. There was major excavating needed due to the grade of our yard and Craig did a masterful job of making the slope perfect. Working with Taylor Made Custom Contracting was a very smooth process with an excellent finished product! We had a very large space to work with and we were able to create a beautiful master bathroom accomplishing our goals of creating a larger shower, updating the entire room, and staying within a specified budget. The workers that were in our house 5 days a week for about 6 weeks were very professional, nice to be around and treated my house like it were their own.

There were many moving parts and a few unexpected items when fixing the spigot, but I was kept informed and the issues were fully explained and fixed. The workman were courteous and knowledgeable. Kevin was very professional, experienced and confident. He listened to our general proposal and offered very constructive opinions and advice which we followed. Their interactions with me and my wife were always professional. The project was a big one. It took several weeks to complete. We got to know them pretty well. We trusted them and felt quite comfortable with them all over the house. I had only one small concern. I mention it only to emphasize how quickly it was addressed and completely resolved. In the final analysis, This was a big project and was expensive but it was worth it because we love all the repairs and improvements. My experience with Taylor made was better than I could have imagined. They are pricier than many other options out there, but you get what you pay for, and much more. Description of the project: Drywall and paint throughout the house, plus an assortment of additional projects throughout the house, like adding light fixtures, putting in carpet, redoing hardwood floors etc. The price tag from Taylor Made almost caused me to look for another options, but I stuck with Taylor made, and I’m glad I did. Some highlights: Our project was a big one. As things came up, Taylor Made addressed them, or made recommendations on how best to address them. We got more value for the price tag that I thought I would get when the project began. Communication is my pet peeve with contractors, and Taylor Made used an assortment of communication methods to ensure that I was up to date on what was going on, and to allow me to chime in when I needed to. We used phone calls, emails, text messages, and even a software tool called Co-Construct ([*** Link removed ***] The software was especially helpful. Taylor Made put picture and updates on the website almost daily. There is also a messaging section that allowed everyone working on the project to see the communication all in one place. And there is a mobile app which is always useful. The schedule, which we all know changes all the time with large projects like this, was either followed as originally scheduled, or adjusted as I requested. The incredible communication allowed for Taylor Made to even get ahead of schedule at times, but only with my approval. The project finished on the date it was supposed to, even though I asked Taylor Made to not work for a few days for my own convenience. This was an unplanned change request I made, and Taylor Made was able to accommodate me on the fly. The crew was great. They were extremely respectful of the fact that my family and I were in the house during all of this work. And in terms of cleanliness, the project ran almost two months, and we had one day where the house was not left extremely clean. I cannot ask for much more than that. Kevin Taylor, who came in and sold us the job, was always available to help at any point. He did not “disappear” as many general contractors tend to do during projects. And most importantly, the project was completed with better quality than any home improvement/repair project I have ever had done. And it’s not even close. One lowlight, which isn’t even that low: The crew accidentally spilled some paint on my driveway. But, instead of hoping I wouldn’t notice or dodging it, they called me to tell me about it before I could even notice it. They told me immediately that they would address it by power washing it. Then power washing did not work, so they added some asphalt over the top and it looks great. So even when the crew made a mistake (which will happen at some point over a couple of months), they not only fixed it, but they were proactive about it. Again, I cannot ask for much more than that. Overall, if you want quality work, Taylor Made should be your choice. I know this sounds like a commercial, but I can tell you real life (scary) stories of how awful previous experiences have been for me with these types of projects, which is why I’m so grateful I found a quality and trustworthy contractor like Taylor Made.
