Shower Door King

Shower Door King came to my home very promptly after calling them for an estimate on installing a glass shower door system. They explained the process that would be involved and gave us several options on the placement and opening and closing of the door which we had not thought about. They took very precise measurements and were told we would receive the estimate and drawing and final check list in a few days and left us with a brochure to look over. We had a few questions so my husband called and spoke with Tracy in the office. She was great in taking care of us. Shower Door King gave us a price that we thought was fair. We liked the professional manner in that they took care of us. We were given a date for instillation and a crew of three arrived and with in a very short time had our glass shower wall installed. The installers worked quietly and were quick as they seemed to have been doing this for sometime and left every thing very clean when they finished. They left us with instructions for the care of our new door system and a can of glass cleaner. They said they would send a squeeze as well, which arrived in a couple of days. Thank you Shower Door King. I would certainly recommend you to others and use you again.

Al came out and measured my shower enclosure and made suggestions for replacing with a frameless shower enclosure. He told me it would take approximately 2 weeks from the time they received my order until the glass would be fabricated and ready for installation. I think it took slightly more than two weeks, but I received a call to set up a date and time for the installation. When the arrived they were exactly on time.The team who came out were professional and very efficient and told me that before they installed the new enclosure, they would have me check the shower pan because, if I decided to have the pan refinished, they would come back at a later time and install the new enclosure at no additional cost. After they removed the old door and cleaned the pan, the pan looked great and I had them install the new enclosure. I think they did a terrific job: they were efficient, professional, and cleaned up after they had finished. I would certainly use them again.

I contacted several companies and found Shower Door King to be the most reasonable esp as other companies were charging a higher price than SDK for 3/8 rather than 1/2 inch glass. The process went smoothly. Al came out promptly and measured the size of the replacement door. He was very knowledgeable and made good suggestions as to how the door should look. He told me it would take several weeks to have the door fabricated and that I would receive a call as to setting up the install date and time. Several weeks later, I received that call, set an appointment for today, received several calls as to the time the installers would arrive and they arrived in that specified window. The installers described what they would do and pointed out that they had no idea of how the shower pan would look after they removed the old hardware and that if it looked bad, they would give me the option of not installing the door until after the pan had been refinished and not give me an additional charge for installation. Fortunately the shower pan looked great after the old hardware was removed and they did an excellent job installing the new frameless door. I can recommend SDK without reservations and would use them again. The new enclosure is a major upgrade and looks smashing.

Provided quality shower door and professional installation. Product and Installation could not be any better. Most important Customer Service from Shower Door King, from the initial contact (office) to final install was the BEST. My best testimony is I Will use them again. It is great to see a company that has the customer's needs as their priority as well as a quality product.

They did a great job! Price wise they were fair. I had a small problem after the work was completed and it was addressed very quickly.

Shower Door King is AMAZING! I rarely write reviews, but they deserve it. First, they answered my call when I reached out. I get tired of leaving messages and no return calls. Someone always answered the phone. Loved that! Second, they came out the next day for measurements and were so professional and courteous. Third, they told me 2-3 weeks and my shower doors were ready in 1 week!!! After they called me they came out the next day and installed. Finished installing in 1 hour. Shower Door King is where you need to go if you have any relevant needs. They are fantastic! They are 100% with courtesy, customer service, professionalism and product!

Encouraged by the positive reviews on Angie's List, I contacted this provider for a quote to repair a shower door. Initially, I was asked to provide measurements and photos so that the provider could send me a quote. I explained the services I wanted. While I did get an initial response, after a week of waiting on the provider to schedule a time to visit my property to do a more thorough inspection, I was advised that the provider was too busy to do the work, and that I should contact them again some other time. I followed up repeatedly, but I was strung along for over a week before ultimately being told that they were too busy to provide the service.

I recommend this company to everyone needing shower enclosures or doors. They have been around for years and know their trade. Their cost is very reasonable. We are very satisfied!!!

Excellent service. They were punctual for both the initial design and estimate as well as installation. They provided very good advice regarding the hardware finishes and were always available for consultations. The overall quality of the product is excellent.

Tracie in the office was fantastic! Al who came to measure was great also. He saved me from making a terrible mistake that my decorator recommended. I was going to get 3/8 inch glass like the decorator suggested. When Al came to measure he said, no way, we are doing 1/2 inch glass. I said ok that sounds better. Less than two weeks later, the carefully inspected glass panels were installed by Derek and Jeremy. They were courteous, careful and very clean. When they had to drill for the mounting inserts they always had the industrial vacuum cleaner to suck of debris and dust. The frameless shower door looks awesome! They also explained how to care for the glass and offer a 2 year warranty on parts and labor. The cost was a bit more pricey than other companies that do this type of install, but trust me, it is worth the price! Cleaning my shower is so much easier now than with my old track system. I want to reiterate that I would have been very upset and LIVID with my decorator if 3/8 inch glass had been chosen. In time the thinner glass tends to bow and the thin glass would have looked cheap after all I had gone through in cost and time to remodel my master bath. Thank you Al, for telling me to go with the 1/2 inch glass. It is the centerpiece of my master bathroom!

After receiving the quote via email I forwarded another email to Mr. Bruch asking him if he would install a shower door that I purchased. The most expensive door I could find was at Lowes at almost half the price with the exact same dimensions and glass thickness. The door also had chrome hardware and was acid etched. Mr. Bruch responded, "Can't help you with a Home Depot Door...their service sucks and we don't carry parts if they short ship..." I ordered the door from Lowes with the intent of installing it myself. NOTE: I retained the email response received from Mr. Bruch. On April 22, 2013 I had an upstairs bathtub reglazed by Affordable Refinishing. During our initial conversation I mentioned to the owner, Vince, that I was also interested in having a shower door installed. Vince advised that since I was having other work done and the installs are "quick and easy" he would charge me $90.00 ($285.00 less then the Shower Door King). Unfortunately, the door had not arrived and Vince was unable to do the install. I subsequently did the removal and installation of the shower stall door. With no experience I completed the entire job in under (3) hours. As Vince mentioned, it was "quick and easy" and leak free :) After seeing how simple the process was for my small shower door, I believe that Alfred Bruch charges an exorbitant installation fee. I also suspect that he does not allow homeowners to purchase their own doors as he is profiting on that end as well. I would encourage anyone using the Shower Door King to request a copy of the invoice to see what Mr. Bruch is paying for the door. *See Affordable Refinishing review for outstanding work done by Vince.

Great did what they were supposed to dp

An experienced salesman mismeasured our glass, so the material first delivered could not be installed. However, 1 week later the excellent installers returned with glass correctly cut and put it in without incident. The final product was the finishing touch on a high-end master bath renovation, and the shower looks terrific. Total elapsed time since placing the order was 3 weeks and 1 day. It would have been finished in exactly 2 weeks except for the measurement problem.

I called the company to get an idea on cost for a new shower door. They needed dimensions and what I was interested in purchasing. After discussing on the phone, I was sent a written estimate via e-mail a day or two later. I found their estimate to be in line with other providers. I am not choosing this company because of their distant location from my home to their showroom; otherwise, it would be a consideration.

Shower Door King explained to me what it was going to cost. They took the measurements. They had us measure first and then they sent somebody out to confirm the measurements. Pretty much they did what they said they were going to do. I was redoing my bathroom and we changed the tile. Where the door closes at the bottom, the glass had to be cut or changed. They started to put it up and they found out they couldn't do it. We had to get the person who put in the tile to come back and change it, so the door could fit. They came back out and got it to work. They were perfect. They were very polite and very professional. They cleaned up behind themselves. We're loving the glass shower doors.

We could not be more pleased with our experience with ShowerDoorKing (SDK). From initial contact to final payment the process was first class. Our initial contact with ShowerDoorKing was through an Angie?s List e-mail. Response to the e-mail was quick and thorough. After receiving ballpark figures from a few companies we decided to proceed with SDK. Al came out to measure, from which a more formal quote was drafted. The quote ended up being a bit less that the initial figure! In roughly ten days the installation was scheduled. The installation was amazing. The crew of two clearly knew what they are doing. They were both efficient and extremely conscientious. They took great care in the installation and in protecting surrounding areas. Both enclousers are beautiful! Hire SDK without reservation. You will be glad you did.

Shower Door King was very responsive from initial measurements of both the bath and gym. I got a basic price quote which placed them near the best price. Even thought they were not the lowest rate the quality of the personal care and professionalism factored into my final choice of having them install both the bathroom shower door and the mirrors in the house gym. Shower Door King reps also made a second site visit at no additional cost to firm up better measurements for the house gym mirrors. Once again this measurement team was very thorough in taking measurements and explaining how they would place the mirrors on the wall. I was given a time frame for the manufacturing process of glass for both the bathroom as the Starephire (low iron) glass required to be special ordered from an outside company. The staff at Shower Door King was always very responsive to my request and updated me constantly of the status of my order during the period of waiting for the special order glass to arrive. The staff worked within my schedule to establish a time for the doors and mirrors to be installed. On the day of installation, I was keep informed of the teams estimated arrival. They were prompt on site and very professional upon arrival. We did a per-installation walk through to ensure that everything was built as I had requested. The install team walked through with me to show all the product prior to install so I knew that everything was top quality and what I had ordered. The install team then began to put the shower unit door together. The team came to me with an problem which I had already noticed which was that the inside lip of the bottom shower transom dipped slightly to the exterior of the shower. The slope had been to the inside during initial setup of the transom but as the tile was laid in place the slope had changed slightly this could cause minor water leakage to the outside of the shower door. The install team informed me that they could make my door stop so that I could remove it. As my other contractor had planned to cut down the inside shower transom and relay the tile so the slope would drain properly back into the shower. Shower Door King install team made sure that this process wouldn't damage the work of the door install. I was very pleased that they had found a work around for this small issue. The rest of the shower door installation was accomplished without further issues. The mirrors in the gym were installed with no problems and definitely made a huge change in the overall look of the gym area. Shower Door King install team after completion cleaned up and did a final walk through of the work they had done. The install team went over and left brochures with me for the warranty and how-to-clean and care for the mirrors and shower door glass. Overall the service was top-notch and by far exceeded several other groups I had spoken with. I would highly recommend this professional team to anyone seeking shower doors or specialized mirror products

Shower Door King rep determined what was needed to replace exiisting broken door on 01/24/2013. He provided work scope and cost statement same evening. I emailed acceptance and authorized credit card deposit the next morning by phone. The expected delivery would be about two weeks. I was called on 02/07 and set up 02/11 for installation. The crew arrived on schedule and went right to work. They removed the old frame and door. They shimmed the new installation to properly fit the new frame (house is nearly forty seven years old and many walls are slightly out of kilter). Very professioal! This crew really knew what they were doing. The result was a new spic and span shower door. As directed, we waited until any silicone sealer had firmly set. We have now used the shower - all is well. no leaks. Very nice crew. Clean cut. Well spoken. Took off their shoes and vacuumed work area when they were finished. Total time was about two and a half hours. I told the rep that I had used Angie's List for a source. I should also note that we were given the stated senior discount.

Everyone was responsive and professional. Guys who came to do job were on time, very knowledgable/skilled, and did the job quickly and very well. And they were courteous and friendly. Would absolutely call them again with any shower enclosure related needs.

Took several weeks to have framed designed to specs but installation went great. Very professional including including owner, office and operations staff. An overall positive experience.

Perfectly. They started with an onsite measurement,showed me a copy of the product and faxed the price that evening. We contacted the office the next day,made 1/2 deposit and it arrived and was installed within 8 days! I was given a time when the installers would be here and they were right on time. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality,well done job.
