Courteous staff. Arrived early. Very efficient. Cleaned up afterwards. Took old fan away. Very professional. Would recommend to others.

This was a complex job and they did it beautifully. Power off most of the day, they provided a temporary line for our refrigerator. This is a 40-breaker box (200 amps) and they reconnected everything, went through complete identification of all breakers, hooked up the outside wiring to the meter box, sealed exterior openings carefully, put in new ground wires, cleaned up carefully and took all waste with them. They got the county permit, arranged the county inspection. Definitely a 2 person job. Have no hesitation in recommending them.

Got Electric called me back with 1/2 hour to send an electrician (Dimas) to do the work. Dimas was very competent installing a new GFCI switch in one bathroom, replacing 2 dimmer switches with regular toggle switch and checking outside switch. All work was done efficiently. I would recommend them to others wanting electrical work done in there home.

It worked out fine. The only thing was, it was around a blizzard and it took a while for us to get the report out and the report was pretty much a list of things, it didn't suggest what they were suggesting or anything. So, I felt like it was a waste, I wouldn't use them again. We didn't incur any additional charges. What they did was, they checked every electrical outlet, pretty much it was everything that the inspectors told me when they were here because I was here when they came. The technicians were great, it was just that the report I would think will have more information. We were ready for whatever they would suggest that we were going to try to get the user copy. When I saw the report I was like, "Okay." The technicians were on time. The gentlemen they sent out here were great.

Excellent service - they did a great job despite some really tough obstacles.

They were punctual, professional and proficient. The fan was installed in 15 minutes.

The electrician, Dimos, arrived on time and left earlier than I had estimated. He installed a bath exhaust fan, removed and then installed 2 bath light bars and 2 boxes for future lights, removed and installed 2 kitchen lights, repaired and installed an exterior security light, repaired an outlet. Excellent and fast work; will use them again.

I needed a new switch and outlet to turn on and off a new natural gas fireplace. The job consisted of running an electric line from an existing outlet up several feet to a new switch on the wall and than several more feet to where the fireplace will be installed. Not a complicated job but a little too much for me to handle. Everything was done quickly in about an hour and a half. Cuts in the drywall wall were kept to a minimum.

It went well. The job was projected to take one day, but it took two. That did not bother us. The electricians were professional, prompt, and friendly. They kept us up to date on how the work was progressing. They also kept the workspace clean so that there was no mess after they left. We need to patch a few holes ourselves, but Got Electric was upfront before we hired them about how patching is not included in the service.

I hired Got Electric to install an outlet and a switch with appointment scheduled for 7:30 am on 7/24/2015. I waited early in the morning from 7am to 8am with no contact from the electrician. I tried calling Got Electric's phone (301-515-8676) at 8am and 8:30am but no one answered. I emailed Allen at 8:30am to inquire about status. Finally I reached a customer service personnel at 9:20am. I was informed that the electrician had stopped over this morning at 7:30am but the electrician said no one answered the door or the phone. I have two working doorbells and I never heard them. I also never received a phone call and my call log notes no calls at the time. When I was finally able to reach Allen at around 11am, he told me that the electrician told him that a call was placed to my cell phone. I asked Allen that if the electrician can confirm via evidence that he did place the call, then I would would feel that I was not deceived. Allen answered that by stating bluntly that he would not ask the electrician to do that and that, in so many words, they did not need my business. Needless to say, my perception and experience with Got Electric was very negative. Now I've wasted a good part of the entire day and will have to look for another electrician. I will say that Got Electric breached a service contract and made no real attempts to provide proof that they were not at fault.

Service went great. Two person crew showed up early. We went over things to be done so the tasks could be accomplished most efficiently. I supplied most of the electrical devices, etc. They brought in an entrance mat so nothing would be tracked inside. Laid down plastic and dropcloths in work areas. They worked neatly and efficiently and explained their progress. They checked their work and cleaned everything before they left. Explained how devices would work. Bill was complete and fair. I would gladly deal with Got Electric again.

It went fabulously. Price was not as good as competitors.

They were professional. They showed up on time. They didn't understand the rules here on how to connect up the electrical even thought I gave them a number to do it, and they didn't have a permit like they were supposed to so the process ended up taking a couple of weeks. At the end of the game, it works. They are professional and they will come true in the end but it may take longer than expected.

The electricians did an excellent job and were highly professional. I would recommend them for their work, and might use them again sometime, but would monitor the time they spend on the work much more carefully next time; the bill at the end was much higher than I had anticipated. The only issue that gives me pause about Got Electric is that while they did (just shy of) 4 hours of actual work, they charged me for 4.25 hours of work -- so this included the 15 minutes that it took them to write up the bill, explain it to me, and run my credit card. I'm not sure if this is common practice, but it seems pretty crazy to me that I had to pay over $35 just to pay my bill.

Very nice people, but make sure you understand the fees charged to come out to your house or to perform the service you are interested in up front!!

Got Electric is amazing! They explained all of the options we had for all the work we needed done, and let us decide how to proceed. They were very thorough in their details as well. We had some scheduling issues (we needed a clear day so they could install the attic fan, and it kept raining), but they kept us in the loop for their availability and really want above and beyond what I normally expect from scheduling contractors. Overall we're extremely happy with all their work. The attic fan is really helping to decrease the need to run the AC, our son loves his new light fixture in his room, and we now have an outside light in our carport that isn't an electrical hazard any more (the old one had significant deterioration).

Emailed Got Electric on a Friday to schedule service to install an EV charger. Team was on board first thing on Monday and done in less than an hour. Service staff discussed the install with me beforehand and had me check work afterwards. Professional and courteous team. Hats off to Got Electric. I'll definitely use these folks again

Got Electric were professional, pleasant, and reasonably priced when we installed a generator. Grant helped us diagnose a smoking light fixture over the phone after hours, and was patient and honest to a fault regarding our late snow removal bill. They are one of the very best home service providers that I have ever used. I don't just want to recommend these guys, I would want to be these guys if I were in business.

GOT Electric did all the rewiring for our home during renovations in 2012. They are top notch, estimates are always accurate and go the extra mile to make sure the electrical wiring is safe and the best installation. If they recommend a fix, they give you alternatives as well. We completely trust them, they have always given us great advice and the crews are friendly, clean up and are extremely professional.

Crew was methodical in inspection of all systems and responding to problems with receptacles and switches reported by tenants. Replaced almost all outlets throughout the house from 2-prong to grounded 3 -prong outlets, rewired same in the kithcen to accommodate all small appliances. Also, relocated 220v relay box to safer locatiion. I used this company at another rental property upon the recommendation of a real estate agent and was so pleased with their work that I contracted with them for this job

The crew showed up on time. They completed the work and rather than round up to the nearest billing increment, they asked if there were anything else I would like them to do, since I had already committed to the time. Really enjoyed the crew. Brought them to my new house as well.

The electrician and his helper were nice and professional. The electrician and helper took their time to find the source of the reverse polarity in the house per home inspection report and also found a more concerning problem in the electrical box. They conducted the repairs and fixed the issue in the electrical box. The work was in good order. The issue that I have being in construction myself, is that it was a rainy day and I paid for two people. My bill could have been $100.00 to $150.00 less with just one employee on site. I was not informed upon calling for service that two people would be coming out for minor repairs. Upon completion the upstairs was cleaned but the basement was not completely cleaned. My radon abatement contractor put a cover back on electrical work where wires were left hanging and the box was left on the shelf near the work. This was found on Thursday of this past week while they were conducting work. Got Electric was recommended by our realtor and he they are rewiring his entire house and he has been very pleased. He stated that the work was impeccable.

I am very please with the service they provided. They are very courteous. They were timely and got the job done fast. They are very knowledgeable because everything was done to my satisfaction.
