Description of Work: We had visited the 2016 Maryland Home and Garden show at the Timmonium Fairgrounds, here we met with Luke from Decks Del Sol, he provided us in depth information about the Azek the material we ended up choosing for our deck. After that Luke came over to our house and gave us an initial proposal. I drew up some plans and he refined his estimate and met with us a second time. At no time we felt pressured about getting the work done but the ease of dealing with Luke is what lead us to making out decision. They were able to start our project ahead of schedule due to some cancellation and within 8 days we have a wonderful deck at the back of our house. Being an engineer I was involved with the whole process and at no point I found or saw that nothing was being done to my satisfaction. All the workman ship is beautiful and the work has been done properly. I am sure we will enjoy this deck for the next 30 years considering that is how long Azek is warrantied for. We got input and suggestions from Luke and Chris as needed. Luke being the owner of Deck's Del Sol is not a hands off kinda guy, he was very much at our site every day and worked on our project. The meticulous attention to detail is when I realized that I had made a good decision going with Decks Del Sol. I would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreLuke was very professional, bringing PVC deck samples for us to see and explaining all the options. He provided a full "a la carte" style proposal that included a deck remodel with basic Azek and vinyl railings, then listed all the options with a price for each, from lighting to trim options to "dry snap", which lines the bottom of the deck to keep the patio below dry. We were very impressed at his proposal in terms of customizing our own deck and understanding the cost of each option. We chose another contractor in the end, only because of recent positive experience with him and an immediate opening the following week. But i will definitely be recommending Decks Del Sol to my friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Luke at Decks Del Sol provided us with a proposal to replace our 30 year old (rotting) wooden raised deck.

+ 1 moreLuke Roueche and his brother-in-law John did all the work. (no subs) They built a beautiful deck and performed the work in a manner that we greatly appreciated. They have a work ethic that is like contractors in the past. They take pride in their work and it shows. They fulfilled the contract to the letter-plus. We are very pleased with our deck and highly recommend Decks Del Sol. We plan to expand this deck in the near future and will hire them again to do the job.
Description of Work: Tore down 4'x4' roof, platform and stairs. Constructed 8'x14' procell deck with vinyl rails and stairway to grade including 4'x4' platform. repaired/replaced vinyl siding, installed extra large gutter/downspout and other repairs as necessary.

+ -1 moreLUKE, OWNER AND BUILDER, BUILDS A VERY NICE DECK. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER. HE AND AN ASSISTANT DID ALL THE WORK. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, CLEAN, RESPECTFUL, AND HARD WORKING. WE EVEN HAD TO TURN ON ALL PORCH AND FLOODLIGHTS, AS THEY CONTINUED TO WORK WELL INTO THE EVENING.
Description of Work: CONSTRUCTED 650 SQUARE FOOT DECK WITH TWO STAIRWAYS USING PRESSURE TREATED LUMBER FOR BASE AND TREX FOR DECKING.
