Julian called with an ETA and arrived as expected. The work was dome quickly and efficiently. There is not much to say since everything went smoothly. Julian was very courteous and personable which made the whole experience so much better. Thank you!

Owner was very responsive, responding quickly to the Big Deal that I had purchased and scheduling me in a week, even though he seemed to have many bookings. Hooked up with our tenants, and they were pleased. Didn't overcharge as many will do on the daily deal sites.

He cleaned the carpets in the whole house for a very good price. He did a good job. We got a deal because he knew us and that we were reasonable clients. He knew that if he did good work, we would give him more work. I thought that we got an exceptionally good price. He is honest and works hard to get stains out of the carpet.

I was a little disappointed. He arrived 4 hours late. He called and let me know he was running late and what time to expect him, but he still arrived an hour after that time. Only one person showed up. He said it would be typically be 2 people but someone called in sick. He went through the home pretty quickly, but overall I pretty happy with the carpet cleaning.

Master bedroom, short hallway, and staircase carpet cleaned thoroughly, inc. stain-removal. There is a difficulty with this type of "DEAL", since master suites with walk-in closets are now often quite large. My deal offered "4 bedrooms plus a sofa" for $130.00, pre-paid. I only needed to do the complete master suite and the sofa, not the other 3 bedrooms, I paid an additional $100.00 for the short hallway and the staircase. I was told that the deal basically covered 300 sq. feet (for 4 bedrooms) and they were able to cover only the large master suite and NO sofa for the pre-paid fee. However, as I mentioned above, The cleaning was excellent and Julian was charming and professional. I would both recommend and use them again.

I purchased this service as a big deal, which expired on 2/13/2011. Unfortunately my son was very ill at that time. I repeatedly tried to contact this company to see if the service could be extended, but either the line was busy, nobody answered, or the line was out of service. I contacted Angie's list after my son's illness, and the representative suggested I call the company, since under the circumstances they should honor the coupon. I tried for several days again to contact the company with no success. Finally I was able to contact them today. The man who answered the call was very rude from the beginning and throughout our conversation. He refused to honor the coupon because I don't have enough carpet area and "he would lose money"; he would come out if I had more area. I asked if he would then refund what he had already been paid, and he refused. He admitted he'd been paid $130 for services he had not provided, but said he will keep it anyway. I mentioned that I would report this to Angie's list, and he said I should go ahead, he didn't care. He hung up on me.

We purchased this "big deal" through Angie's List. The service was scheduled for March 4, 2011, at 7:30 am. At 9:00 am, the vendor called and said he was running late and didn't arrive until 11:00 am. The "big deal" was for carpet cleaning for 2 rooms and one flight of stairs. We have two flights of stairs and he offered to do the second flight for $49.00. We refused and said we only what was included in the deal. Unless we agreed to the additional costs, the vendor said he did not want to perform the service. He was rude and very unprofessional. At that point he was told to leave. I am requesting that Angie's List refund our money, since this purchased through Angie's List.

Very prompt and efficient. Carpets had a lot of stains and they look terrific again. Thanks so much great job!

The first appointment was scheduled for Jan. 28th. I left work early to meet him at 3:00. I called him at 3:20 to see if he was running late and was told that they couldn't make it that day after all - the bad weather earlier in the week was the excuse. Julian did not know why I hadn't been called beforehand. We rescheduled for Feb. 2nd between 9 - 10. Julian called at 8:30 that morning to say he couldn't make it until 12:30. I drove to work and then came back for the appointment. He arrived as scheduled. Work was completed in under an hour which seemed pretty quick. The carpets were left pretty wet - it took a couple days for them to dry completely. Julian did include the hallway at no extra cost since technically, the hall would be considered an extra room over the four room offer. This was to compensate for his not showing for our original appointment. That was a decent gesture on his part. As I was leaving for work, I saw that he had parked his van on the lawn while pulling into the driveway. This left a huge rut in the lawn and also broke the first couple of rows of pavers that we have on a little path which goes around the house. I emailed him, attaching photos showing the damage and requesting reimbursment for the materials only - we were willing to do the repairs ourselves. That was over a week ago and no reply or acknowledgment so far. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. If he had at least apologized for the damage to the lawn, it wouldn't have been so bad, but that was just final straw.

Did a good job, overall. Showed up an hour early which ended up being an inconvenience for us.

VIP-Steemer were very good. The carpet is very light colored and I have a four year old who likes to dirt it up. There were a couple of high traffic areas on the stairs that I didn't think they'd be able to get out but they did. There was even some glue left over from when they installed the carpet that they got out. The carpet was spotless. They did a great job. They actually came earlier, which worked for us. They were very professional. They also do granite and grout cleaning as well.

They had an offer for 4 rooms and I just needed 2 rooms done. They were supposed to call me back because I only needed the 2 rooms done and I had a question about doing the tile in 2 bathrooms. They never called back. When he came I had him clean the 2 rooms and I asked about steaming the tile and caulking in 2 bathrooms. That was $355 extra, which I thought was too much, but I didn't know. They were small rooms and I don't know if I would use them again. It was not completely satisfactory. At the time I did the booking I was told that I would be called back because I only had 2 rooms of carpet and I was never called back. The carpet cleaning was a good price but I didn't think the other work was a good price, but I didn't have any comparison. Part of the caulking was not done but he came back to do it.

On the day of the appointment, the technician called before his scheduled time to tell me he was running late. He ended up coming about two hours late but did a very thorough job and he was very professional, and I was happy. The next day, I noticed that a stain that had previously been a small red smudge about an inch long had turned into a bright purple circle about two inches in diameter. I called the company, and I set up an appointment for the following week to have the technician come back. On the date specified, the appointment time of 11 came and went, so I called the company. They called me back about an hour later to say the technician was running behind again and would call me to let me know when he would arrive. Hours and hours went by, and he never called me--at the end of the day, I called the company and the man answering the phone was very nice and apologetic and said someone would call me the next morning. No call the next morning--when I finally called VIP Steemer, the receptionist was rather blase and seemed unaware that the technician hadn't shown up the previous day, gave the excuse that he'd had car trouble (but no phone trouble, she admitted), and offered to set up yet another appointment for him to come. She wanted to pick a day right before Thanksgiving. I figured the company was overbooked before the holiday and maybe that was why they were having so much trouble showing up, so I made an appointment for the week after Thanksgiving. On the appointment day, I got a call from the technician shortly before he was supposed to be at my house, informing me that he was, once again, running late. He actually seemed unaware of what time he had been scheduled to be at my house, but he said he could make it in a few hours. He did come later that day, was unable to get up the stain and said it would cost quite a bit to handle it with carpet dye and such. Unlike the receptionist, he was apologetic about all the lateness and for his not showing up at all. I don't really blame the company for the worsening stain--I think the solvent found a pool of ink in the carpet pad, and those are the breaks. Doubting whether calling the company with my complaints about their timeliness would go anywhere, I sent them an email with my issues, asking for them to please acknowledge that they had at least received my email. It's been more than a month, and I'm still waiting for that acknowledgment. I wish I could say I am surprised. The inability to show up on time or at all, communicate with me by phone or email, or treat me as a valuable customer makes this company one I will not do business with again. I will also be sure to warn my friends away from it.

On the scheduled day, the service technician called on his way to my home to let me know he would be a little late. Once there, he got right to work. He and I moved furniture around so that he could get to all of the carpet. The job was well done. VIP Steemer did not offer sanitation or soil retardant options. Now that I am more educated in the definition of "area" as related to carpet cleaning, the price was fair, but not a deal. In the future, I will obtain carpet cleaning estimates based upon square footage.

Very well, called week or two before Thanksgiving and wasn't surprised to hear that they were backed up for several weeks. Scheduled for December. Slight mix-up on timing on the day of the service but that might have been my fault. Gentleman was extremely courteous, polite and thorough. We did a full walk-through of what needed cleaning and why and agreed on some additional services. He worked his way backwards through the house (i.e., did the furtherest rooms from the front door first). Was able to clean up some pretty nasty messes and provide a nice clean house for the holidays.

We had a little trouble scheduling the initial date for the cleaning due to the popularity of the Angie's List discount, but as things progressed, Julian was very responsive. We had to reschedule due to personal matter and Julian was very responsive in this matter. He was a little late showing up on the rescheduled date due to the length of time it took to complete a previous appointment, but he called to let us know that he was running late. He called when he was on the way to our house, which I appreciated. When he arrived, we went over the services included in the offer and I pointed out some other areas that needed attention. We agreed on a price and he completed the work efficiently. He was very careful of the furniture that I was not able to move out of the areas where he did the work. The work included cleaning some pet stains, some of which hadn't come out despite previous carpet cleanings by other firms. When Julian left, all of the stains were gone, but within a few days, most of the old stains reappeared. VIP was successful in removing the newer stains, but wasn't successful in removing the older damage that other firms couldn't fix. I haven't called Julian to see if he could make another attempt to get them out because I don't think that they can be removed at this point. I don't fault VIP for not being able to remove them. Overall, it was a very good experience and I'd use VIP again.

After a few false starts in scheduling my appointment, when they came they did a great job. Spots that had been on my carpets for years are now gone, which I did not expect.

I used VIP services through a coupon deal I accepted through Angies List. The overall carpet cleaning took about an hour or less time. I have eggshell colored carpet that is about two years old. Julian from VIP made the carpet look as good as new. He was even able to remove a very old juice stain and an old coke soda stain from the carpet. I'm very pleased with their work. A couple of things to note. VIP hooks up to your outside water supply to perform services and they will need to use some of the customer's hot water. Also, the carpet will be wet/damp for up to 10 - 12 hours. Even though there was a mix up with the scheduled appointment time. Julian corrected the problem and kept in constant contact with me the day of the appt to let me know when he would arrive. Yes, I would use this company again for carpet cleaning even without the coupon deal.

In the end it went very well. The one hitch was I live in a condo that's basically a third floor Townhouse. They could not get a hose from the truck to my house to perform the heavy duty cleaning using the machine. I also didn't realize there is a cost difference for cleaning ceramic and natural stone tiles. Julian offered to do all the cleaning by hand, and he used professional products to clean the white tile grout which now looks brand new in the bathroom - it was three years old. He also did the hand polishing of the natural stone tile in the master shower, which was the additional price of $70. I would definitely recommend using VIP-Steemer again, but for someone new, they should be very specific about the surfaces they want cleaned and the layout of their home.

VIP STEEMERS We had to reschedule the work due to time conflicts. Finally, a very nice young man arrived at my door, very, very late (without notification). In fact, it was evening and there was no natural light. Unfortunately, the company had not inquired about my home, just assuming it was a single family home but I live in a condominium townhouse with two units one above the other. Therefore, the workman did not have the right equipment and informed me that the cost would be higher due to the location of my unit. Since it was not feasible to the work that evening, I was told to contact the company to reschedule. My house was in disarray because I had cleared the floors, moving furniture and other items to make the carpet as available as possible. It was a difficult situation for me because so much was out of place. Trying to reach someone at the company was impossible. I had left a message the night before to describe the situation. No one returned that call. I left several messages and when I did speak to the receptionist, she was unprofessional and discourteous. So much so that I asked to speak to the supervisor but was told he was in the field and he would call me as soon as possible which he never did. I mentioned that I choose their company from Angie's and might file a negative report. There seemed to be no interest in such a report. The contractor arrived right on time and was very personable. Unfortunately he informed me the "deal" was just for wall to wall carpets, and all but one of my rugs were area rugs. I told the agent who made the appointment that they were not all wall to walls. He agreed to clean them anyway, but one less than the number oin the "deal" which was disappointing. He did kindly try to get out a spot on one of my sisal rugs - valiant effort , but no luck in removing the stain. The deal also included one couch cleaning. The couch looks not a bit better than when he started - many areas totally missed, and the rest is stiff and the fabric texture awful . I suppose that may be the result of uneven cleaning and leaving in residue. I will have to now have it cleaned again by someone else. THe rugs are ok - not great. THe contractor used a different solution for the oriental area rugs which I appreciated.

My overall experience was not so great. It really started at the beginning when they called to reschedule my 10am appointment for an earlier time of 8am. The technician ended up arriving at 9:30am instead. Overall, the cleaning itself was OK but not worth all the mishaps. He was very sloppy and careless. 1) Left a couple of very saturated spots throughout the carpet which took a couple of days to dry up. 2) When cleaning the sofa, he got water all over the hardwood floors and did not clean it up. 3) After cleaning the carpet, he put the coffee table with wrought iron legs back on to the wet carpet without any barriers and so consequently, the iron legs bleed onto the wet carpet. 4) After he finished the job, he dumped his cleaning solution onto our grass and now there is a dead spot. 5) Overall, what infuriated me the most was the fact that my sectional was considered 2 sofas instead of 1 and the technician never consulted with me regarding the extra charge before he cleaned it. Before he started the job, we walked through all the areas and I showed him the sofas that would be cleaned under the Big Deal Special. During the walk through, he informed that area in the the Master Bedroom closet is considered additional area. He stated that it would cost an additional $30 to clean this area, so, I agreed to $30. Never once did he mentioned the sofa until after the fact. Unfortunately at that moment, I did not have time to dispute the charge on the spot because I had to leave for an appointment and I did not want to leave him there alone at my house. On my way out I called the owner, Julian to let him know of my displeasure with the additional cost. He apologize and mentioned that the technician would be written up. My conversation ended short because of my appointment, so I told him I would call him back to resolve this matter. This is were customer service for this company gets a F. When I called him back, he had no recollection of my conversation. Despite all the mishaps, I was willing to meet him half way on the sofa, but all he kept offering me was a coupon. He went on to say, that I got such a Great Deal that I shouldn't be complaing. Hmmmm, did I really, since I ended up spending $110 more? Anyway, he said he was going to think about it and get back to me. Right! It's been two weeks and I am still waiting.

This was an Angie's "deal" and the company was busy when I called, but I got a date that was within a reasonably amount of time. The guy arrived a bit later than scheduled and was momentarily flummoxed by the no parking signs in front of the house, eventually he parked the van where it needed to be in order to run the hose. There was some question about whether a very large stain on the carpet could be removed, as it had already been treated with various cleaning products, but he got it out completely. The results were better than I had expected.

It went very poorly. When I called to make the appointment for the Big Deal, I was told they would arrive between 12-1 p.m. I called the day before the appointment to reconfirm but was then told they had me scheduled for 8 a.m.. I said the time had been scheduled for 12-1, I'd arranged my day around that time, and I wouldn't be home until late morning, so they agreed to the original time of 12-1. The next day, I hadn't heard from them by 1:30 and I called. They said they were running late and finally arrived after 5 o'clock. We were having company over for dinner (which is why we wanted the rugs cleaned) and he was still working when one of the guest's arrived and this all very much disrupted our evening. One of the items they cleaned, a hand-made runner, is still very dirty, I think it looks worse than it did before the cleaning. We are going to have to replace it as it is in a very noticeable place and have begun shopping for a replacement. I called the company the following day and informed them that the runner was still very dirty and it was unacceptable. They never called me back.
