The service turned out well. They were nice and cheerful about the work. My only regret is no furniture was removed and that was a surprise.

service was prompt and professional. The company left a phone message re: the appointment and called that morning to say the workers would arrive a bit earlier than expected. We had taken the time to clear the rooms of the smaller, movable items (e.g. chairs, small tables, etc.), and the workers moved the larger pieces (couch, etc.), so the work went smoothly and did not take so much time. They took time to point out some spots on the carpet (we have a dog) and asked whether we wanted them to add more cleaning material to those spots (some people don't want to, he said, because of the slight smell). But I did not notice any chemical smell after the job was done, and the carpets looked great. They even cleaned the small carpeted landing, which I had not asked them to do. The company also then followed up (twice) by phone to ask whether we had any problems or questions re; the work. Very nice to work with, and the work was done well. My impression is that it is a small company, and the personal attention, I think, reflects this. I would not hesitate to have them clean our carpets again.

Overall everything went well. I think its worth noting that we purchased a deal through Angie's List for this service, and scheduled an appointment. Angie's List contacted us not too long after, saying that they were rescinding the deal because VIP Steemer was overwhelmed with the response, or something along those lines (its' been over a year since this happened). Since the deal was cancelled, I assumed VIP Steemer had cancelled the appointment. To their credit, they showed up that day even though we weren't home. We rescheduled the appointment and they came out and performed the service.

The service technician was pleasant and the service good. But, I'd used a different Angie's List service in the past and it didn't quite compare as highly.

I scheduled the appointment weeks in advance and then on the day of the appointment during the scheduled timeframe they called to say they were no longer coming and I had already taken off work to let them in... Rescheduling was a nightmare because they would not commit to any time. When I finally heard back they called to try to come on a day I said I was not available and then finally agreed to a time the next day. The next day they didn't even show up on time and when they finally arrived they were in such a hurry. They stripped all of the heads of the screws on the duct vent covers and I had to loan them my tools so that they could actually get the covers off. Supposedly the service includes video inspestion but they did not even offer it, I had to bring it up and then they could not even get the camera to work. I even had to point out to them that the main trunk line was not even cleaned properly because I could see directly inside (so it makes me wonder how clean everything else is since no video inspection was offered). The end result was our entire house was filled with a cloud of dust that then settled to coat everything in our house with dust. My wife and I are still cleaning up after the mess they left behind. I don't see how this made the air in our house healthier when all they did was push the dust from the ducts into the house which we had to breath in and now clean up. One comment that one of the technicians made to me was that Duct cleaning is not on their priority list so that is why we were bumped. I do not recommend this company at all because of their unprofessionalism, their disorganization and the mess they left behind.

They came, they cleaned, they left. It was pretty simple stuff.

Just a bad experience overall. The phone number to reach them I think is a cell phone. The connection is weak & it's difficult to hear the person when you're making an appointment. The day they were supposed to come they rescheduled. The day they really came they called to say they would arrive later than the window that they gave me & then showed up 45 minutes late for that. I left the house for 20 minutes and when I came back they were done & the floors looked exactly the same- stains and all. They claimed that most people replace their carpets every five years, so it's not dirt, but ruined fibers. When they left I ran a paper towel over the stains that they claimed were ruined fibers & came away with a brown paper towel. It's as if they just quickly wet the carpet & left. Not even worth the deal I got from Groupon.

The have really good service. Very professional.

When I first called, they quoted me one price. Later, they called me back to say that they had given me too low an estimate and could not fulfill their promise unless I agreed to have more that one carpet cleaned. Naturally, I cancelled the appointment and told them their action was tacky. Soon, Juiian called me back, apologized for the shabby treatment, and offered to keep the appointment for the original price. I agreed and he did a great job and was very personable. I would use VIP again.

VIP - Steemer were professional, fast, and thorough. I called them with a question after they had left and they came back out to take care of the issue. The were pleasant and provided good service.

This year, I make mistake before by scheduling a cleaning without properly consulting my calendar, but VIP Steemer came, and again was on time. I was mortified to waste their time and gas money coming out to my place . I planned to pay extra on my rescheduled date as an apology.So I re-scheduled a cleaning appointment with the young lady on the phone for the upcoming Saturday. Saturday comes around - no ones show up. I call the number and reach the tech who tells me that he didn't have me on his schedule, but could make up for their scheduling error by rescheduling for first thing on Monday. Monday morning rolls around, so I call the tech 15 minute before the arrival window is to close, and he says he's in traffic - I'll accept that since traffic is nuts in this area. Another couple of hours - nothing. No one calls. No one shows up. No one answers the phone at the office, or email either for that matter. Everyone is unreachable. I leave voice-mails left - no response. So I reluctantly call them to cancel because I have furniture piled up everywhere so the carpet is clear for cleaning. My kitchen and bathroom are unusable until the carpet is done. I have an aversion to leaving negative reviews especially when I have made errors myself here, so I'll just tell the story and you take it as you like. VIP Steemer has some communications challenges to overcome for sure. Their on site cleaning is pretty fabulous if you don't mind dealing with communication problems. I would call both the office (if they answer but they don't really respond to email like so many businesses today) and the tech to ensure they are in sync, as this is their only shortcoming in my observation. I just don't have the time and flexibility to wait so much.

The cleaning service was excellent, they were able to remove a stain the previous owners had left in the basement. My only issue is that they were very late, they ran about 4 hours behind the scheduled appointment time. Other than that, they did a great job, I would certainly use them again.

It was a BIG DEAL, so I got a price break. It was probably worth the price. The rugs and sofa were cleaned as promised. However, I felt it was done in a bit of a cursory matter and more time was spent telling me other services that could be provided if I were willing to pay for them. The carpet and sofa did look better after he left and dried within a few hours.

They did a great job and the condo sold within a month after listing.

The results with them were kind of mediocre. They had said that they would try and get some animal stains out such as fecal stains from a cat but they just didn't do a great job. They were on time. They were a little expensive for what we got.

They were persistent and resourceful about getting their hoses to our 4th floor apartment. The carpet sparkled - much better than other non-steam cleanings we've had in the past. Carpet was wet for quite a while afterwards - not a real problem, more of an inconvenience. Overall we were very pleased and will definitely have them back when we need the carpets cleaned again.

They did a haphazard job. I thought they did a careless job. The employees were fine, but everything seemed rushed and not a lot of care was put into it. They just cleaned the rooms, but the carpet could have used a pre treating to get rid of some of the stains.

They charged extra due to the size of our oriental rug. Other than that we were very pleased with the quality of work. It was unbelievable how clean the rug.

Very responsive company. I called for last minute-appointment on a Saturday. The representative scheduled on first available Saturday. My 11-year old carpet had not been cleaned in over 2 years; after cleaning they looked like new. Meticulous, polite, responsive. Great experience.

They did a good job. They were on time and professional. They were excellent.

I called this week to have the work done. I was notified that purchase was no longer valid and that I would have to talk to Angie's list. I am requesting my money back for this purchase. A company that doesn't do the work for the customer should refund their money. That is how I believe honest businesses behave. They should not take advantage of customers just because they have the opportunity to do so. Angie's list could have helped me tremendously by telling me which date they were reimbursing the company for the work (NOT) done. This is the first time that I bought a "deal" from Angie's List and I guess I just did not understand the system. However, I still believe that an honest company would refund the customer for the work paid for but not done.

I think he did a good job. He was very professional, but it took awhile for him to return my call.

scheduled an appointment after signing up for the Big Deal. The service provider did not show up at the time and date scheduled - in fact the servicer never ended up showing and did not call at any point on that day to indicate there was a problem. When I called them to find out what happened, I was told they would call us back reschedule (owner said he couldn't reschedule at that moment because he was performing a job). I expressed concern because the last date before the coupon pricing expired was just a few days away. The owner committed that he would honor the coupon pricing even if the reschedule took place after the expiration date given they had been a no-show on our scheduled date which was obviously prior to the coupon expiration date. When I did not hear from the owner for over a week, I called him about rescheduling the appointment. At that point the owner said he would not honor the coupon and would not refund our money ... worse yet he denied that his team did not show up when our appointment was originally scheduled and went so far as to say they came and no one answered the door. Given that I had stayed home from work that day just to accommodate the appointment, that is patently ridiculous. And just to add insult to injury, the owner was rude and sarcastic in the phone discussions. This servicer is dishonest and obnoxious .... he does not deserve to be on Angie's List at all. Please note that there are 3 prior disputes on the site which detail similar bad service to others.
