ST CLAIRE WINDOW COMPANY

I never leave reviews unless good...but I am so taken back that these people would come into my house, leave with my decor (broken or not) and act like nothing was there!! ...My apartment complex “Trails of North Hills” in Raleigh hired them to install new windows today. I was home when they entered but had errands to do so I left. When I came back, (to an unlocked door btw) I noticed 3 pictures were taken down from the wall, which is fine, I just hung them back up..but as I was doing this, I noticed that my other wall shelf that had decor on it, was also empty. I had a black glass letter “E” sitting on my wall shelf. I looked around the shelf because I thought maybe it had fallen or they took it down... I had this letter “E” in every home I’ve lived in since my grandma gave it to me in the 6th grade, and I’m 26 now. I loved it so much that it cracked a few years ago and I taped it together because I just couldn’t throw it away... But anyway, if something had happened and it was broken this time I was just planning on parting ways with it...But I couldn’t find it. It wasn’t on the wall shelf and it wasn’t anywhere in my house. I looked all over for my letter “E” and it was nowhere to be found. I thought surely it must have broken and someone reported it (maybe they forgot to tell me)..because it’s not worth stealing. So I go outside and see the “boss” in the parking lot, still working on other apartments, and I ask “Hey, there is a letter “E” missing from a shelf in my room, do you know what happened to it?” Expecting him to be like “yeah it fell” or something...But he says “nobody told me about anything falling they are supposed to report all those things” .....so I say okkkkk...well it’s gone...and he asks all the team members and they all say “there was nothing there”!!! Lol like I would lie about something so dumb. Then tells me that since no one fessed up to either breaking it or taking it, all I can do is file a complaint with my leasing office. I can’t believe grown men would break my decor then act like it was NEVER THERE (because I’m pretty sure it fell from the shelf, broke and someone tried to cover it up) That is BEYOND me. Not what I was expecting after a mistake is made from a company. Someone had to see it because it’s no longer in my house. So someone disposed of it or took it out my house! (& it’s not in any of my trash cans, I checked🙄) I understand mistakes. I’m a very understanding person..but it is the principle. These people are not trustworthy at all. So if you do hire them make sure you or your tenants stay in the house at all times. Or don’t hire them at all because, I’d rather have a company who practices accountability & morals instead of breaking ppls **** then acting like nothing happened or “It WaSnT tHeRe”. Very disappointing especially doing a job like this, where you are entrusted to go into people’s home! No morals and no professionalism. I would have respected that crew much more if they just said what happened smh. I have attached a picture of my now empty shelf😪

Very well done, clean, tidy, less wind around windows. Will save on electricity.

This company was contracted through our homeowners association to install windows throughout the entire community. When they installed the windows they cause damage to the carpeting, the hardwood floors, and the outside shutters on the kitchen Window. I initially contacted them, and they came back into my home and were unable to make the repairs. Since, I have written them a letter and still have received no response. The carpet is torn and dirty and needs to be completely replaced as they dragged large picture windows across the floor. This company needs to own up to the poor quality installation and damage they have caused.
