We needed some repair work done on the roof of our DC row home, and also to replace the roof of our detached car port. Eric was able to accommodate our work schedules and arrived before 8am for the estimate. He was able to meet the cost of competitors for the final price and we scheduled the job quickly after we signed the contract and provided a down payment (1/3rd of the price). Because of some confusion about when we would be returning from our holiday trip, Eric and his crew had to complete the work in our absence; however, we were in regular communication by phone about how the job was progressing. The job was completed in one day and looked great! We received a 15-year warranty on the roof that was put on the car port and a the repair work on the house was also guaranteed. Overall, we found Eric to be extremely knowledgeable about older row homes, and the crew did an excellent job. R W Kibler came to us by way of a recommendation from a neighbor, and we would definitely use or recommend them again!

Once the crew on-site, the project flowed smoothly. The crew was professional and were able to answer any questions that we had. Unfortunately the original cornice/ shelf gutter fell off the house during construction. It was not their fault, the wood supports were all rotted and the inside of the cornice was rusted out. Once they removed the original slates and began removing the flashing that the previous owners installed the whole thing came off the house. Turns out we had "structural"flashing holding it in place. At least no one was injured. They took the original metalwork and fabricated a new cornice in their shop to replicate it. This added additional cost to the project, but it turned out so well that it ended being a great investment. I had real concerns that the contractors would not be able to capture the detail of the original, but they replicated it perfectly.

Jerry Kibler performed an estimate and brought a helper to diagnose a persistent leak in a 1900 row house turned condo. When we could not afford to replace the roof, he went back to be sure the roof was patched water tight until we could afford to install a new roof. He went back to the unit several times to apply new materials to seal up the leak and once when I didn't know he was there to install more and be sure we were happy. Jerry and his staff have been a delight to work with and we highly recommend him and his company. He came recommended to me by another property manager, which speaks volumes about this customer service and attention to detail. Work was performed in Columbia Heights, DC.

I contacted R.W. Kibler, Inc. on 12/12/11 to obtain an estimate for repair and/or replacement of the roof of my townhouse. Eric came out on 12/15/11 and I received the proposal via email on 12/16/11. I notified Eric a few days before Christmas that I would like him to perform the repair work and returned the signed contract with 1/3 down payment. Work was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on 01/04/12 and Eric arrived on time and completed the job. His responsiveness is excellent and I felt like I made an instant friend.
