At Customer Service and I was told to go to the back of the store where there was only one salesman and after being ignored for 15 mins. I requested a Manager who took 20 mins to come to the customer service area and then was told Lowe's no longer provided the service.
Description of Work: I was told Lowe's that they did not provide the service.

They arrived exactly on time, very punctual. The individual was very courteous and when the job was done there was no trying to encourage me to buy additional services. They were extremely up front and professional. Bravo!

I liked the organization skills of Sheri Martin at the contractor's desk that helped make getting the materials for the 20 houses very easy. Price is 'A+', the manager gave us a discount.

I had to contact my insurance company (Erie) prior to calling them I had 2 different plumbing companies come out and told me the line were clogged up. I paid out of pocket $120 to Fred and Son Plumber and then to Michael and son's Plumbing, heat and air, and paid them $89 out of pocket, and they told me the same thing, that Fred said. The line needed to be snaked out and is a plumbers job. All Pro Services sent out a technician on August 24, 2012 and informed me he could not do the job. On their business forms it says heating and air conditioning, plumbers and fitters, The tech from All Pro lied to me. I tried calling All Pro and spoke to a Louise at least 3 - 4 times and she told me to send a fax asking the owner to give me a call. He never did. The next day I called and spoke to a lady named Laura and she told me she would give him a message. We never heard from them again. My insurance adjuster, came out today 8/30/12 and I got a company that does restoration work called Pro Services out of Frederick, Maryland. They pulled up the carpet that got destroyed and the padding and put fans and a dehumidifier in my family room. Tomorrow at 9:00am I Have a plumbing company called Rowan to fix the lines. They told me it will be between $475 and $700 depending on how much time it takes to flush and snake out the line. I will have to pay for that, plus my $250 deductable and the insurance company is having a company coming out to remove 16 feet of baseboard and replace it, taking up all the carpet and padding, to replace it, doing the dry wall work and Paint the ceiling and walls where they had to cut to find the line, at no cost to me. I have been a loyal customer of Lowe's for a long time. I put $3030.00 on my Lowe's credit card that is controlled by GE money I called them and informed them I am disputing the charges. I feel my wife and I have been come victims of two companies that take advantage of Senior Citizens. As I mentioned before I was in Laurel Hospital when I got there my blood pressure was 188/108 and my sugar level was 166 plus I have a right branch bundle block in my heart. This frustration from both Lowe's and All Pro Services, Inc. have affected my health a great deal as I also suffer from hyper tension. I am asking you to please help me on this matter.
Description of Work: Installation of a new furnace and heat pump. These item were installed on June 13, 2012 and on August 24, 2012 my family room in my house had water damage, because no one tested the lines. I called both the Lowe's Store in Laurel, Maryland where purchased on June 8, 2012. The line from the furnace was clogged up and should have been inspected when Lowe's salesman and the Installer from All Pro Services came to my house to assess the system they were going to put in. They went ahead and marked off several blocks on the assessment that we signed and they marked no on use of exsisting line and no for lush line. I had called Lowe's at least 15 times and spoke with a Bill Parsley, Assistant Mrg. and told me him and the manager were going to file a claim for us. I called the Corporate office of Lowe's at least 10 times and got a run around. When my wife called the corporate office, the legal section said they denied the claim because we did not ask for a flush or to check the lines. I am 65 and on Disability since 2007 with a Heart condition, COPD, High blood pressure and type 2 diabeties. My wife is 73 and also in poor health. On August 26, 2012 I was rushed to Laurel Hospital because of the the frustration of both Lowe's and All Pro Services, Inc. had put me through. I got out of the Hospital on August 28, 2012. Our house is up for sale and we have a contract on it and the work has to be done that both companies denied was their faults. I have a complaint in with the Better Business Bureau case#439868.

All Pro Services never responded to me. I have a heart condition and also COPD. They never returned my call. My wife and I have been very upset since this happened. I am on social security and my wife get a small pension from the Federal Government. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau case # 439868 (Ref# 20-100429-439868-3-220). My real-estate agent told me to contact my homeowner's Insurance Company, Erie. A Mrs. Law the adjuster came to our house today and informed us that our carpet in the family room would be replaced and the base board would be replace and the room painted plus the dry wall work. I have a $250 deductable and Erie does not cover plumbing. I have a Plumber from Rowan Plumbing coming to repair the condensation line, Pro Services from Frederick, Maryland is doing the restoration work came out and is taking care of drying out the carpet and carpet pads. My insurance is pay for that. I have had Michael's Heating and air conditioning come out and they agreed with Fred and Son Plumbers that the line was clogged. I also will have to pay the plumber out of pocket $500-$700 depending on how much work they have to do. I also am having a Company coming out to replace the baseboard, the carpet padding and carpet, also they are going to do the dry wall work and paint the room. I am asking you to please post this complaint on your list of Businesses that will not even reply to a warranty. My wife and I are senior citizens and feel we have been taken advantage of because on Lowe's Assessment before the work was done did not ask us if we needed to have a new line or a flushing to see if the line works, yet they marked no in two boxes and said yes to everything else. My Insurance adjuster is contacting both Lowe's and All Pro Services, Inc. to pay the insurance company back. I have several pages of document with no warranty that we purchased for 3 years.
Description of Work: I purchased a furnace and heat pump from Lowe's in Laurel, Maryland, store #1188 on the June 8th, 2012 a representative from Lowe's and All Pro Services came to my house as I had to replace both units. They did an assessment and my wife who is 73 years of age and I am in poor health signed two papers one of which how much it would cost. I paid $500 with my debit card, $3030 with my Lowe's credit card and the balance with my Capital One credit cards. The equipment was a Trane plus a Honeywell thermostat. The work was completed on June 13th by All Pro Services located in Capital Heights, Maryland. On August 24th,2012 I went to my basement and the carpet was soaked with water. I called a plumber Fred and Son who came out looking for the leak. he cut a hole in the ceiling and it was dry. He cut another hole where he thought the water was coming from above the base board and told me the condosation line was leaking. I called Lowe's and asked to speak to someone. They put me on hold and then someone picked up the phone and I told them what the plumber told me and they told me on the phone that it was my problem since I did not sign yes to flush the exisiting line and to continue to use that line. My wife and I have our house up for sale and have a contract on it. Now if the work is not done I will loose the contract. I contacted their Corporate Office and spoke to about 7 different people then I called the store repeately and got no where finally a Bill Parsley spoke with me and told me he was sending in a claims form to his office to take care of this and to call them on Monday. The legal Department denied my claim. Icontacted All Pro Services and on August 24th they sent a service man out and he told me I have a clogged up line and he does not do that type of work. I called and faxed a email to All Pro Services to come out and repair my air conditioning.

It was actually a very good experience. They physically had the products on the floor to look at. They had every product that we wanted to see, which wasn't true of competitors. We looked up a company on Angie's List that was highly recommended. We dealt with them, but they didn't have what we wanted.
