I used John Gardosik Home Improvement and they were great. He was great because he followed up on everything even after he had made one little minor (Inaudible between 38.7 - 39.3) and he came back and went over the job done. He called back and asked how everything was and if it was fine. We let him know that we were very pleased with his work. He was very professional and he did a good job. He was at our place for 3 days and he had the job done which was about 2 months ago. We sent him an email to let him know that we were pleased with his work. It was about a week after we had contacted him for the work to be done and he was on time. After the previous contractor upgraded my cuircuit breaker box, i needed a larger box then the box i already had, so, He built me a circuit breaker box with the cover as i need a larger box after the previous contractor didn't build the new box required. The cost was about $300 for the job. He made the circuit breaker box from wood and he not only made the box but he also painted it to make it look presentable, he didn't leave raw wood there, plus the new box looked better then the one we previously had there. The price charged was fair because he brought the wood and the paint to complete the job. His workmanship was fine, he also asked for a vacuum cleaner so that he could vacuum the work area and left the area clean and I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: .After the previous contractor dis an upgrade on my cuircuit breaker box, i needed a larger box then the box i already had so John Gardosik Home Improvement built me a new circuit breaker box.

The job was done quickly and perfectly - two coats, no mess, everything just the way we asked for. Very happy with Mr. Gardosik and would recommend him for this sort of work. He called the day before to confirm the schedule, arrived exactly at the time promised, helped us shift the heavier furniture and was professional and polite throughout. The room looks great and there was no mess to clean up.
Description of Work: We had a couple of rooms that needed to be painted. We bought the paint and did the small room but found that it took much more time and energy than we actually had. So we hired Mr. Gardosik to come and do the large room for us. He taped and did two coats with a nice attention to detail and extra cover where necessary and then cleaned up. All in much less time than we had spent on the small room - which was fine - that's what happens when you get somebody who knows what they're doing.

John was extremely accommodating to our unusual schedule needs, starting late mornings each day and the need to have work completed within a fairly short time frame. He worked with very good speed and cleaned up very well each day and even mopped the floor at the end of the job. John salvaged and reused the 50 year-old, stained shoe mold so it would match the existing wood on the outside of the room and place the new wood on the inside where it would not clash. he even suggested a stain color and provided the material for me to pre-finish the molding before installation. Due to un-level floor each stud in the new wall had to be individually measured and cut. The only area for improvement was the quality of the drywall mud finishing. There were some lines, gouges, and a few large bubbles left after the final sanding. Paint did not cover a number of these. Once painted it was more than acceptable for our purposes. You really have to look close and in the right spots to even notice these minor blemishes. Next time I will be sure to indicate, up front, the expected level of drywall finish. I would recommend John to others. He's a nice guy with excellent pricing and does good work.
Description of Work: Construct a wood stud wall in the finished basement to create an additional bedroom. Wood framing, drywall, minor electrical wiring rough-in. Install door. Frame closet and closet opening.Taped and mud drywall prepared to be painted ready for owner to paint. Install base molding with shoe molding inside and outside of roomOwner will provide all painting and wood finishing. Owner will install own closet doors.

Every was done promptly and he had good suggestions for colors and design. He works alone so everything took a few days altogether. We are currently talking to him again for some outdoor work on windows, shutters, and railings. An absolute pleasure to work with - I can't say enough good about him.
Description of Work: John touched up our kitchen. The work included new crown molding, prep and paint walls and trim, new tile back splash and a new pantry door.

Contractor submitted a detailed estimate, specifying that the work would be completed within a time frame of about four weeks. After signing, he kept us informed of the projected date he would start and, after only about a week, set a date two days in advance. He promptly appeared and all through the project stayed in contact with us regarding progress and possible alterations necessary. Quality of work was to our satisfaction and, when a slight misunderstanding occurred (whether a large gate should be permanently shut closed or again be functional) , contractor readily accepted the change without additional charge, despite some additional work. Both workers acted in a professional manner, kept the area clean and promptly hauled away any refuse. The whole experience was pleasant and all work was satisfactorily completed within four consecutive days.
Description of Work: Contractor, with one associate, rebuilt a corrugated-metal roof of a 22' by 12' lean-to (attached to a barn) that had collapsed in a heavy snowstorm.
