The two men were here on time. Although it was 98 degrees, they carefully removed the loose bricks and the remaining ones in that row, mixed matching mortar and relaid the bricks so that it all looked the same. We are very happy with how beautifully they matched the mortar in the repair. They cleaned up after they were done. I would not hesitate to call them again if I ever needed work on my fireplace.

I received several estimates to repair my chimney and American Professional's was the most reasonable and thorough. Rudy and Alonso worked hard for two days and were courteous and professional. Catherine from the office is very responsive and kept me informed throughout the process. We have used our fireplace a couple of times and it is working well. I highly recommend this company.

The job went fine. The crew had to work extra hard to scrape away remnants of vines that had crawled up the side of the house. But they did a careful job at a good price. I am very satisfied and would recommend Abel and American Professional Chimney & Masonry again.

I got a refund because there was n o need for cleaning. I will call next fall for an inspection.

They accommodated my request for an earlier time (than what was originally scheduled) which was really appreciated. The team was professional and courteous. They did a great job removing debris and vacuuming the inside of the fireplace. The lead let me know that the exterior and interior of the chimney looked fine (which is what I really hired them to do - assess the chimney's structure and work-ability). After vacuuming the fireplace, they noticed that the "floor" in the fireplace was cracked and would need to be replaced. He provided a written quote and they were done in under 20 minutes. It was a very positive experience and I'll most likely use them for the repairs needed.

I am in an "emergency mode" in regards to unexpected repairs for selling out house. A new chimney cap was one of those repairs and Angie's List had a good deal with a contractor. However, the Angie"s contractor did not contact me as of two days later. Another contractor called me and said he can come out tomorrow to fix the problem. Since I need this done right away, I'm going with him.

The vender posted upon my purchase dates that the service could be done. We selected 10/27 or 10/28. Then vender sent back email saying they couldn't perform service on those dates and next available was 11/10/14. As chimney is used to heat house, 11/10/14 is to late. Vender said they don't care. Very disappointed in Angie's list for allowing this vender to work this way. Do all your venders try to steal from your clients this way?

It took a while to get in touch with and schedule the appointment after we paid. We had to wait over a week. But the two gentlemen showed up and did an inspection and cleaning. They showed up over an hour early, which wasn't a problem. They did a fine job. Very professional and thorough. I would hire them again.

Catherine and Helen (?) were wonderful contacts in the office. Everything was professionally arranged, from the estimate to the work being performed. Ronaldo and Pedro arrived slightly earlier than the scheduled time. They called prior to arrival to make sure it was okay to arrive. Both men were very professional and we talked about what was going to be done. There was a little misunderstanding about the color to be painted, but when I contacted the office, another visit was quickly scheduled to repaint. Customer service was iimpeccable and I really appreciated the cooperativeness of this company. I had to make arrangements to pay the pending invoice and was again appreciative of the company's leniency. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you for a job well done and a caring approach to your customer.

Very happy with the service they provided

My chimney was supposed to be cleaned. Howard, the service tech, said it needed a lot of work and said he could not clean it.

My appointment was from 12:30-1:30. The company called me and said they were 5 min away at 11:00 and if they could come now... So that was fine. 2 guys showed up with a vaccuum and a tarp and went to work. The chiseled the old grount and laid new grout. I even had them patch a hole inside and outside where I ran a propane line into the house. They were in and out within about 30 min. Cleaned everything up and it looks like new.

The company sent staff in yesterday. They are quite nice and professional. After checking my fireplace, one of the guys told me that they are not servicing that kind. Nothing is done and I was not asked to sign anything.

Jose and Juan showed up at the scheduled time and began work immediately. The work took about 4 hours and they took care to cover the new crown with plastic since there was a possibility of rain. Manuel came the next day to remove the plastic. They did a great job, cleaned up the jobsite (all that grinding generates LOTS of dust) and were very courteous and professional.

After repeated customer service issues, the crew not showing up on the scheduled day, showing up over an hour late on the rescheduled day, and finally arriving with insufficient equipment (ladder was too short), I simply told them to leave. I will admit that Catherine was very apologetic and offered a substantial discount on the work, however, the totality of my experience with this company was horrible.

First came and provided a free estimate. The estimate was significantly less than a competing masonry service (and a third mason never arrived to give the estimate). The subsequent repair was done on time and as promised. The mortar was a good color match to the original mortar (which was not the case for previous repairs by other masons). I cannot know now for how long the repair will hold, but it does look solid.

Service went excellently! Workers were knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, professional and respectful. Excellent customer service and all around great service.

He did a good job on chimney. He recommended some cement work outside. It was a high quote.

Don't do brick work on the exterior of a house in my area.

The provider was efficient and inspected both chimneys, and very honestly told us one did not need cleaning, while the other did. The price was great, and they were very quick in responding to all of my queries through Angie's List. They did tell us about $1000 of things we should do to the chimney, but were honest on the phone that we could wait a while on doing them.

We had a great experience with this company. The came out to perform an estimate on time. The estimate provided was the best out of the three companies that we had interviewed. On the job day they showed up on-time and performed all work. The work turned out great and all mess was cleaned up before they left. Would recommend this company!
