Description of Work: It went well. I am having trouble getting one question answered by the service man who came. I have called twice.

Description of Work: They were excellent. First Brian came and review the situation, giving me a very accurate description of the problem and solution, which involved calling a plumber. He then accepted to coordinate the works with the plumber. They came on time, were super clean, changed the liner and the connecting pipes to the water heater. They also fixed the mortar joints from the roof line. They were excellent and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I have dragged my heals on writing this review because I really want their to be a middle choice between thumbs up and thumbs down. It's such a limitation of angieslist to only provide two options. | |My issues were: I made VERY clear that I wasn't available until after a certain time because of a napping baby and they promised on the phone they understood. Then they showed up early and asked to do it early. I reluctantly let them in, and they said they just wouldn't vacuum the chimney since she was sleeping but would just clean it without vacuuming. I wanted the full chimney cleaning so I had them vacuum- it seemed like such a non-solution for them to offer to not do their job since they came early. The whole thing took about five minutes and they were about to leave without inspecting the chimney until I asked about it (our home inspector had found problem areas in the chimney. So they inspected and wrote something up. It seemed they just wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible without regard for my time or doing the job well. However, they did seem friendly and I think the chimney was clean afterward, so I'd like to give them a half-thumb instead of an up or down thumb.

Description of Work: Outstanding contractor. Delivered what was promised on time and within budget budget.Removed a major portion of an old defective and failing brick chimney. Remove an old poorly functioning aluminum liner, rebuilt the chimney using new bricks and installed a new stainless steel liner so that the chimney now meets code.Remove an old tin flue that would keep the new liner from be installed properly, a very difficult job. Rudy,the lead technician was knowable, professional and a superior craftsman. Howard the estimator explained what was required and why the recommended work need to be done. The company is well managed and has excellent customer service and billing personnel. I would recommend this company without reservation.

Description of Work: They clean the chimney and swept out the ashes and cleaned the fireplace. They inspected the tiles and stated that they would have to be replaced at a future point. Explained how this was done and gave an estimate for 30 days. They were very professional and did a good job. I will recommend them.

Description of Work: They cleaned and inspected my chimney. They gave me quotes on work that needs to be done. Don't know if the quotes are high, low or just right...need to get other estimates. This will determine if I will use them again.

Description of Work: They cleaned the chimney after we moved into our new house. They were able to come right away so we could start using our fireplace immediately! They were very professional about putting on booties to not track ash onto our new carpets, and they were even dog friendly, allowing our pet to sniff them!

Description of Work: Chimney cleaning. Said chimney needed repair and they would send estimate. Never did. This was in Washington, DC. Which reminds me, since I split my time between NYC and dc, why can't I get email notices about both?

Description of Work: The vendor cleaned the chimney and inspected the inside and outside. They recommended chaulking and sealing the outside of the chimney. They provided a quote for that service.
