The repair to the house was done well. The reconstruction of the brick pier was of marginal quality - the mortar joints are uneven and the appearance of the final work is only fair.

I scheduled them to come between 9-11am to sweep my chimney and at 10:55 received a phone call from them saying they were not going to be there until 3-5pm since the employee who was to clean my chimney had called in sick that morning. I told them that I would not be able to be at home from 3-5 and was then told that I would be the last ticket of the day and they would be there around 6pm. It is frustrating that I waited for them for two hours before they called to tell me the service would be delayed. I have called and scheduled with a different company and would not recommend American Professional Chimney and Masonry. My time is valuable, and I don't like to have it wasted.

I had an estimate from a gentleman from the above company in October and was told I would get an estimate no later than the following Tuesday. Never received the estimate.

Unlike the many contractors we called they actually showed up and were very professional. They did a very nice job in a tight location. The only drawback was that they washed all of the concrete residue down the stairwell drain causing it to clog. They came out again to check this and agreed it may have been clogged by them. We agreed to split the cost of the $400 replacement. In addition, they had to jack hammer the footing to replace the drain. The ultimate drawback is that we no longer have a steel drain at the footing but a plastic one. See my opinion about the plumber. Would I use them again? Probably.

Mr. Litchfield came out to give an estimate. He gave suggestions on how we could fix it and then left without giving an estimate or discussing whether his company could or or why his company wouldn't do the work.

Answered phone calls, showed for scheduled estimate and for scheduled work. Completed all work and did some add on while here. Very friendly and well priced.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND RESPONSIVE AS WELL. I THINK THEY COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE THOROUGH THOUGH. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. I WOULD JUST MAKE SURE THAT THEY DID EVERYTHING THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.

THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES, THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND POLITE, AND PROFESSIONAL. WE HAD A LITTLE DRAINAGE PROBLEM HOWEVER THEY CAME RIGHT OUT AND FIXED IT. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.
