Dave Myers worked with me and made recommendations regarding what insert would be best for me. Then he came in and performed the work as agreed, and gave me pointers and solid explanations throughout the process. He also installed an insert at my previous house, so I knew from experience that he would do a great job.

It was fine. They did a good job on the fireplace, the part that I can see.

They braved North Carolina camel crickets to do this work. Despite all the debris removal (they hauled away a complete truck load of terra cotta and mortar and brick), they managed a very clean operation in the four days it took to complete the work utilizing shop vacs and masking of fireplaces inside my house and were very neat outside. The manager of the work was Manuel Hernandez and every single other of the professionals who worked with him was stellar. They were so nice that at the end of the job, we homeowners felt likek they were our personal friends. The equipment they brought was appropriate, they followed good safety practices and worked bery hard and consistently. Just to be nice, on the last day of the work, they cleared a whole gutter as a goodbye present. Hire these guys. They were each of them incredibly competent and trustworthy. This time of year, the weather ranges from thunderstorms to a nice day here and there. The office staff was particularly good in scheduling and rescheduling to go with the forecasts for extreme weather. We got the impression all the way through the work, from estimate to completion, that this is a company that cares about doing a good job.

Great value and price! Very pleased!!! They answered the phone when I called for an appointment and immediately scheduled the appointment within a week. Two very pleasant technicians showed up on time and completed the work in less than an hour. When finished, the technician took the time to explain what they had found (e.g. the upper part of chimney had NOT been adequately cleaned last time by another company) and confirm that there were no cracks in the modular fireplace in my condo. They also provided me with a written confirmation of inspection that I can provide to my condo association. I have recommended this company to my neighbors and condo association.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I have mixed reviews for them. When I went to schedule the work we agreed to a time but the day before, they called and tried to shift the time. We went back to the original time after I told them we agreed on the original time. They came and did the work but when they finished they just basically left. My fiancee was there while they were performing the work but when they were done they did not tell him they were finished. When I sent them an email to follow-up on things I have not heard back from them, ever. It is great that they came to do the work but I would have liked a status update. I think their pricing was competitive.

They were prompt in getting the job started and arriving on time. From the first call to wrapping everything up they were professional, clean, and proactive about moving things forward. Most importantly, their prices were much better than their competition for the same job. I feel they did the amount of work that was necessary, but not more. I would highly recommend them!

Based on their reviews on Angie's List, I purchased a deal for $149 for the replacement of my chimney cap. Since I was doing this replacement based on my HOA's requirement, several of my other neighbors also had to have the same work done. As such, I contacted American Professional to ask if they'd work with us (about a dozen or so interested residents) to cut us a deal. Catherine was extremely helpful and professional; she agreed to work with us to assess what each home needed and then give us a price break. The team came out to determine whether it was the chase cover, the rain cap, or both that needed to be replaced on each chimney; they then provided each of us with a quote for just the work done. They also offered chimney cleaning at the same time, if desired. They worked with each homeowner to determine the appropriate scope of work and scheduled us all for the same day. This required many e-mails back and forth amongst American Professional and all the neighbors, but they handled it completely professionally. I opted to include the chimney cleaning, as I recently moved into the home and was unsure how recently the previous owners had taken care of that; when the team came out (arriving on time / as scheduled), they told me it wasn't necessary, which I really appreciated, since they could easily have just done it and taken the money. They took care of the rain cap and chase cover, invoiced me for the full amount minus the Angie's List Deal cost (which only covered part of the work needed), and took care of many of my neighbors, as well. Overall, an excellent experience - I would definitely use them again if I needed this type of work done.

All went well. Brian were efficient and professional and provided me with a list of repairs that needed to be accomplished prior to a home inspection. Had another vendor do the same...cost of repairs provided by other vendor was more than the cost provided by American Professional Chimney & Masonry, Inc.

It was a very easy process Everything worked as expected. There were no surprises. s

They gave us estimates on a few things that needed fixed. We discovered that the issue with the leak was an issue dealing with drains. Estimates were a little high so we went with someone else. They were very proffesional and very prompt.

Unfortunately due to the cost of the repairs, I will have to schedule the work at a later date after securing financing.

very professional company, Catherine is an asset (also) to the company, she is knowledgable re the work to be done, the estimate was given shortly after I called, very nice people, work to done tuck pointing, crown was cracked, replace with new, water repellant installed, I did not have new furnace liner and fireplace liner installed. two separate days were appointed, first group Rudy and associate did the masonry work, scraping off loose paint, removed the cracked crown, replaced with new crown; they worked very well and responded to any questions I had, masonry work looks good, they were intelligent and competent in their work this morning Brian & Vitalli came to apply the weatherizing paint, install a flex crown over new crown, very pleasant intelligent workers and completed the job, also intelligent and competent in their work I was very satisfied with the quality of work accomplished by American Professional Chimney & Masonry, Inc.

The guys did a great job; all work was performed satisfactorily. The only issue was that it took a longer to complete the job than they had originally estimated and they needed access to the house more days than the people in the office told me would be necessary. In the end, they were very accommodating with the scheduling and working with my availability. I would recommend this company and would use them again in the future. Alex and his crew were very nice and did a fantastic job!

It went very well. There were 2 of them and they cleaned and provided a good assessment on the state of the chimney. Our house was recently painted and they were able to give us some sound warning on the paint on the chimney. They were quick and were likely done in one hour. They were friendly and professional and we would use them again.

It went well. They cleaned what they were supposed to. They also did an evaluation of the condition of my chimney.

Crew arrived as agreed and worked about 4 hours. They cleaned the roof, gutter, and front walkway of any debris. They answered all of my questions about their work and the quality of the repairs.

It was fine, they did the job, inspected the chimney and tried to sell me something else. They came in with their sweeping brushes and went outside for a brief moment, they claimed to have cleaned it and I did not see any dust around. I do not know if they did it or not. I kicked myself afterwards for not watching them do it. They were done in 5 minutes, seemed to quick. They were here at the right time, seemed efficient and the two guys were nice. I can just not confirm they did the job. I was expecting to see soot at the bottom of the fireplace and did not see them. I was not expecting to be sold something.

They were very smart. It was suppose to take a week and it took three days, I was very happy. They did not seal off teh basins and I had dust around the house.

All of the repairs seemed to have gone well. There is a new chimney cap and the area around the chimney was sealed. We have had several rain storms since they were here and there were no signs of water coming in.
