The cleaners were prompt, professional and had great attention to detail. They provided recommendations, at our request, but there was no pressure, which we greatly appreciated. The only negative I have was Ms. Catherine Wilson's attitude when I spoke with her on the phone to confirm our appointment, she was rather abrupt. However, that being said, I would use this service again, regardless.

The company arrived on time and completed a thorough inspection of our chimneys. On the day of the inspection, they provided an estimate for completely rebuilding 2 chimneys. Their estimate was the highest of the 3 we obtained and they didn't offer to reuse the historic bricks. We used a different company.

They came out after I purchased the "Big Deal" and the service went well. They came out and did the service and they did a good job.

Two technicians arrived for a Saturday appointment, not just punctually but early. They did the work, assured me everything was ok and then went outside with me to point out some trouble spots. This was very helpful as I had been experiencing ceiling leaks even after roof repair, so I will follow up on the estimates for further treatment. Best of all, the real reason I wanted an inspection was because of non-stop, extremely annoying chirping in my bedroom which I thought might be birds in the chimney. The gentlemen ruled that out, and didn't stop investigating until I emptied the contents of a large basket of books next to the fireplace and found a fire alarm with a dying battery that I'd taken down from the ceiling to deactivate. Excellent!

We purchased a big deal for this company. That went very well. They were very fine.

They showed up on time and did a great job of controlling the ash dust and cleaned everything up when finished. I was very happy with their professionalism and attention to detail. I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

I was very satisfied with the provider. He was early for the appointment. He went about his duty in a timely fashion.

Everyone I interacted with at APC was very professional, courteous, punctual, and pleasant. APC ultimately rebuilt the chimney, because it wasn't designed/installed properly. The rebuild went fine but, after the work, the chimney had a draft problem where smoke was coming into the house. Dave the (owner) was very proactive in working with me to figure out what was wrong, and installed a larger chimney cap (at no cost to me), which has helped quite a bit, so I am very pleased with the outcome and overall experience.

Manny who provided the service was very professional was neat/cleaned up well. He also performed the service for the follow-up work - brick repair/etc.They showed up on time on both occasions and were very easy to work with. I would recommend this company and will contact them in the future for other masonry work.

Both visits went well. The first one was for just cleaning and then they made recommendations on what I needed to do. I was really pleased with the service. The people that came to work were very courteous and they explained everything in detail what needed to be done. So I went ahead and did the second part. I was really pleased with them. The only thing that I didn't like was that when I contacted the office, the people there were not as courteous as the people who did the job. But in terms of the job, it was very good. There were two crews. The first one was for the cleaning and the second one was for the repairs. Both crews took their time to do everything and explained everything to me beforehand. I asked for pictures and they took pictures before and after. I was very pleased with the people who did the job itself.

Didn't have any conversation, said everything was fine and they were in and out the door.

The specialist came and inspected it and said that I didn’t need a new chimney cap, the problem was something else.

Everything went well, ontime, etc. I moved afterwards and had no problems or complaints from new owners.

He came out very quickly and did a thorough job of looking around. He did a thorough job and the price was fair.

Technician was punctual and covered my carpeting and my fireplace Heath before starting work which I really appreciated because the job was really messy. The inspection was only visual and the technician did not make any suggestions although I felt my my flame was high when he finished but I did however tell them my fireplace was working fine when I scheduled the appointment.This may have been a result of him leaving the flu open to wide? Overall I was satisfied and pleased with the service and cost.

They were prompt, made sure they covered the floor with a clean mat, were very courteous, professional, did a great job and I would highly recommend them. They went to great lengths to make sure none of the chimney debri and soot got in the living room as well.

The company contacted me directly after I purchased an Angie's list deal. They were prompt. Answered my questions. Made recommendations as required without being pushy. I plan on using them again and would recommend them to others. I can't really attest to how fair the pricing was but it seemed reasonable.

I just bought an older home, which looked like the fireplace had never been cleaned. These guys were pretty good.They cleaned up the fireplace so well, it' looks brand new. The only thing they didn't clean was the ash pit, but I took a look in there, and it looks like it wasn't used too much. I was told not to dump too much ash down there, and to use it sparingly. All in all, I would use them again, though next time, i would make sure they cleaned the ash pit.

The men that came to do the work were excellent! They went right to work, took a short lunch and continued with the job. At 3:45, they were finished, packed up and ready to go. I was hesitant at first about the cost of this project, not having any idea of what it would cost. I usually get two estimates, but with the way Brian had presented his proposal and the work that was involved I felt I had made the right move. I was also pleased to get a 10% senior discount of which was worth more than the refund of the $99.00 for the special chimney cleaning. I am very pleased with the work done by American Professional Chimney & Masonry, Inc.!

!. On time.. YEA! 2. came in put down the drop cloths on the carpet 3. Reviewed everything he did, explained how to use the fireplace (only thing i knew was, put a log in and light it) 4. Explained the entire workings of my particular type of fireplace and how often it needs to be cleaned. 5. When I asked, let me know about some other services his company provided. Totally and completely Satisfied.

Service was prompt and performed quickly. They were careful not to make any messes. Recommended a new top for my chimney of a cost over $1000 for a aluminum lid. I am sure the quality was high, but that still seemed very expensive for an exterior aluminum lid. It would be better if they could work with a vendor that provided high quality parts for a little less. But the service I received was excellent and exactly as I had expected.
