They were neat and clean and performed the work thoroughly. They took pictures of defects in chimney. Construction was going on that involved the chimney so I did not use there additional services at the time. They weren't a hard sell on the additional services.

They did not clean the white brick around the fireplace. My previous provided had done this without being asked.

This company was one of the best we have used. They were prompt, responsive, and professional doing the work I requested.

Very professional and efficient. First the appointment was scheduled, then the office called to confirm that what I have is a fireplace "insert" rather than just a plain, old chimney, which American installed for me in 2010. The insert apparently requires different equipment and expertise. So we rescheduled, which was fine because there was no hurry in September to use the fireplace. |The guys showed up on time, cleared furniture away from the fireplace, covered everything and got to work. All done in about an hour. They were polite, efficient and clean. I'll definitely use them again and again and again...

We found this firm via Angie?s List and were very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship. We especially appreciated how the manager of the project (Renaldo) took the time to show us what he was doing and how the job was being done. We also appreciate that the crew worked into the early evening to complete the job rather than come back and complete it during expected inclement weather the next day.

The arrived on time and were very professional. They cleaned and inspected the chimney, and gave a thorough estimate on work that needed to be done.

Seemed like a very quick job then they told us the chimney needed extensive work. They spent more time talking about the work than cleaning the chimney. It appeared as though the cleaning was a way to solicit repair work.

Everything went very well. They were able to come out very quickly after I had purchased the deal. Two technician came out to do the work and it took about 30 minutes to complete. The chimney is working perfectly and they cleaned up well after themselves.

The technicians showed up at the beginning of the 1-hour window for their arrival. They were very professional and clean. Came in, performed the work for the chimney sweep, reported to us on the status of the chimney, and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend! I will use this company again in the future.

Overall, a very good experience. The chimney was cleaned and inspected while I was not home, so had to follow up a few times to get a report - no big deal. Great value using an Angie's List deal.

Using a brush and vacuum they cleaned the chimney. They did evaluate the area in the fireplace but I did not see them do a visual inspection up the chimney. |They did provide an estimate for the RE-pointing and fireplace floor repair with no pressure.

Awesome from start to finish. They called the day before and gave an hour and half window when they would arrive. Not 4 to 5 hours like other services. They were in and out. Very efficient and kept the entire work area clean. Would recommend to anyone and will use them again.

They put a new cap on and inspected the chimney. I was surprised at how fast they were but once I went up and looked at it, I could tell they did a good job.

First, after researching and reading lots and lots of reviews for Chimney Sweeps, purchasing the deal for American Professional Chimney & Masonry Chimney Sweep services on Angie's List was extremely easy. There were some initial issues with the website that caused the purchase to be charged to my credit card twice. An immediate call to Angie's List produced a credit to my credit card and the charge and credit were made in the same cycle. The technicians arrived within the "call ahead" timeframe. There were 2 young men and they were both courteous and very personable. Prior to starting the work, they discussed with me what they were going to do. They went right to work cleaning the fireplace and inspecting and cleaning the chimney from within the house. There was absolutely no mess left behind. The technicians then went on the roof to inspect and take pictures. A itemized proposal with recommendations was written and discussed with me. I was really very happy that there was no pressure to immediately purchase the additional items and/or services. It was extremely important that I felt that I was not being scammed or pressured. After the holidays I am definitely considering having American Professional Chimney & Masonry return and perform some, if not all, of the recommendations the technicians made. And I will definitely request the service of Mr.. Ronald Gomez.

great service. prompt & professional. they inspected and checked all my fireplaces & chimneys. patiently answered my questions about how to use a fireplace (never had one before), and then made sure I understood how to use it after they cleaned the chimney.
