They were on time, did a nice job - clean and fast. Provided us with lots of information about the chimney and possible repairs for the future No pressure.

The service turned out great. I think they did a great job cleaning and they explained everything to me. The price is right in the ball park.

They came to our home and they offered to put a liner in our chimney. The homes in our neighborhood do not have liners. We canceled the Big Deal as they were unable to do the chimney sweep. They were very polite, straight forward, and accommodating to work with. They were on time and they called ahead of schedule.

They were quick to respond and schedule appointment and arrived on time. American was professional and completed the work in a timely fashion. I ended up having a crack in my chimney that requires re-sealing the interior. American gave me an estimate for the repair. I'm going to get a few estimates before I have any work done but American Chimney is at the top of the list. The tech made sure I understood the problem, especially the hazard that exists if the fireplace is used, I would use American Chimney again and recommend them to others.

The crew was very polite and clean. They were very tidy with the ashes. They even emptied out my ash bin. Overall, they performed very well. That said, the woman who answers the phone really needs to take customer service classes. Perhaps they should just hire a different receptionist. I have a feeling it is the manager who answers. Unfortunately she is inclined to talk to customers in a way similar to how I suppose she addresses her employees. This is very inappropriate. After this phone experience, I would have not even used their services if I had not already been "stuck" by buying the coupon on Angie's List before calling.

It was fine. The job was done well. It was a little difficult to get in touch with people, they had to re-schedule. The pricing was very good.

The chimney cap was blown away due to strong wind on the previous day. They showed on time, reinstalling the chimney cap and giving me an estimate for other repair as I requested. They took a picture of the inside of chimney to explain why the repairs were needed.

The team came within 48 hours of my call to APCM. The work occurred over a few days owing to weather, weekend, and other things. The APCM was in constant contact with us, letting us know when the workers would be coming, etc. The workers were prompt, courteous, professional, clean, and quick about their job. I hope not to have to touch my chimney again for many, many years, but if I do, I'll turn to APCM for help.

They were great. They were really, really good. I used them before I moved into the house that we bought. I want the chimney swept before we go into the house. They came out, they were timely, very polite, really thorough and they were nice guys. They did what they said they were going to do so it went good. They gave me some advice on the chimney but I felt better about it. There wasn't an additional fee but I think they were confused as to what I bought so I don't know if the communication break down between who they were dealing with. I'm happy with the price.

Awesome! The owner, Dave came out & did the work. He walked me through everything he was doing, as well as operation of the stove, and a ton of helpful hints. They arrived on time, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up everything. Just an awesome group of people to work with. He provided a lot of helpful information and tips on things I could do myself rather than trying to gouge me for additional services/money. I will be using their services long into the future!

Seemed very knowledgeable. Very gently tried to upswell to a 900 repair of chimney. But no pressure. And I suspect that they are right that the repair will be needed-eventually.

Catherine Wilson worked with me closely on every detail. Crew did a great job. My neighbor Damian recommended them to me, but I looked at four other companies who offered alternative approaches and were willing to work with me, but thought American offered the best for me. Turned off my furnace on Christmas Eve and have been using my insert as the primary heater for my home - gas bill dropped in half and my house is at 70 (instead of 64) degrees.

A two-person team came out to my house to provide the service. Courteous, called to let me know when they were behind at another job because of an equipment problem, did the job quick and cleanly. I have no way to tell what the chimney looks like inside, but seems to be working well, and they told me it looked good. Also appreciated them letting me know that with our use (not a ton) of the fireplace, we only need cleanings every other year at the most. Only minus was that their office was supposed to contact me to set up the appointment and I never heard from their office. I had to call and make the appointment myself.

Alex showed up right on time, was very professional and finished within an hour, and our fireplace has been working great since then. He also gave me an estimate to have a stainless steel liner installed, but he wasn't pushy and he clearly explained the pros and cons. I'd definitely recommend them. Our only issue was in scheduling (though, to be fair, there was a 'weather event'). Because of an ice storm, they rescheduled us for the next day, though no one showed up and when I called to confirm, they seemed not to be aware of the postponement.

They were early, efficient and thorough with cleaning, helpful in explaining how to open and close the damper...

Company was prompt and courteous in responding after purchase of the big deal. Set up an appointment via messaging on Angie's List and chimney sweep showed up as promised. Took care in moving items near my fireplace and left the house just as clean as they found it. Would definitely call upon again.
