Description of Work: With the exception of cleanings, our chimney had not had any work done since it was built nearly 100 years ago. In addition, the earthquake damaged it. This company reconstructed the chimney, replaced the flue, and installed a liner. This was all done with excellent skill and expertise, meticulous care to minimize dirt and debris, exceptional responsiveness and flexibility with working around our own schedule and excellent customer relations. They also provided a discount because of the volume of work, which was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Estimate on chimney repair. American Professional Chimney & Masonry, Inc. is one of three companies I used to give me estimates on repairing my chimney. I have not yet selected a company since all three gave me estimates saying different things needed to be done and prices ranging from $1600 to $7000!!!! American came when promised and seemed very professional, however, I think I will have to have more companies come to estimate.

Description of Work: I contacted American Professional Chimney & Masonry, Inc because I needed my chimney cap painted. The cap had rusted. I was unfamiliar with a lot of the terms used for the work I needed on the chimney, but the staff were helpful and informative. Someone came out and checked my chimney. He discovered that the rust came from the metal. I was told that stainless steel cap would not rust. I was given a work date and time and the workers were on time. The work was completed in a timely manner.

Description of Work: They cleaned my chimney and did the best Job of any company I have ever used. They removed the damper and cleaned the smoke shelf,something no one else has ever done. In addition I have them coming back in the spring to replace the crown and extend the flue. Great attitude and very clean!
