+ 4 moreWe hired them to remodel our Mitch and resurface our cabinets and they were fantastic to work with. From planning to completion they were super professional and very responsive, something you don’t always get with contractors. The owner stopped by a few times to check in on progress and the contractor doing the majority of the work did an amazing job and was very accommodating when issues popped up. We look forward to hiring them again for future projects and highly recommend them.

From the first visit to the showroom to the completion of the project, it was a first class experience. Cheri, our Sales rep, was extremely helpful in assisting me in choosing the cabinet style and color, quartz countertops, backsplash, and hardware. The showroom is amazing with all products available to see onsite. Confidence in your choices is guaranteed seeing them paired together for your final approval. She will even visit a granite yard with you to help with your choice. Chuck and ET were the contractors assigned. I couldn't have been happier with their superb work, friendliness, attention to detail, professionalism, and punctuality. Quartz installers and plumbers were equally impressive.. Owner and sales rep even stopped by to witness the project progression. In other words, class act all the way. Our updated kitchen looks beautiful. I highly recommend them for your reno projects and intend to use their services again in the future.

The salesman did a nice job in helping select the materials, and oversee details in completing the project on time and without any problems. The carpenter's high level of skill and concern for customer satisfaction was evident from the first day he began working on our kitchen. The electrician completed all the LED under cabinet and ceiling lighting with excellent attention to providing proper light distribution. Overall an outstanding great looking kitchen and a fantastic experience!

We were correct. In addition, the carpenter assigned to our job was professional and his work product evidenced his experience and expertise in this field.

Description of Work: These guys are true craftsmen. They did a fantastic job refacing my parents' old '70's kitchen. They were professional, friendly, patient, on-time, and they were perfectionists, as well. That's something that's hard to find in this crazy, fast-paced world. I'm hard to please but was very satisfied with the work done. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who actually worked on the kitchen, but it's been over two years and I can't remember his name. We chose a re-facing project instead of a whole new kitchen because my mother is very elderly, and I thought this would be easier on her. She got absolutely beautiful looking cabinets (refacing included all new doors of high quality), a gorgeous new marble countertop, and new appliances. John Heagy is a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for!!!

+ 3 moreHeagy remodeling did a fantastic job, with great attention to detail. My wife and I are very pleased with the entire makeover of our kitchen. It went from outdated and unattractive to modern and beautiful. Mr. Heagy stopped by at least twice during the work to help with any installation questions. Chuck was the highly skilled carpenter who did most of our work. We found little add ons as we went along, including some shelves, a new border for the bathroom mirror, new stainless seal oven fan, etc. Chuck did not mind adding these requests as we went along and he did a fantastic job throughout the project. We were very pleased with Heagy remodeling and plan to have them back to rennovate an upstairs bathroom.
Description of Work: John Heagy resurfaced our kitchen cabinets with completely new doors and exterior, we also requested several new shelves. We also had a beautiful quartz countertop installed in the kitchen and entrance foyer bathroom--with new doors and cabinet surfacing in bathroom. New sinks and faucets in kitchen and bathroom.

+ 0 moreI used this contractor based on a recommendation from a neighbor. They showed up on time, actually, I believe they were a little early. I explained I wanted to have the paneling removed, sheet rocked the three rooms and ceiling so that I can have the next contractor to blow in insulation. The upstairs is unused and is used for storage. The estimator took measurements. He came downstairs to give me a verbal estimate of $45,000. That price included 2 doors. He specified that's the price w/o insulation. He went on to tell me before doing the work, I should get vents installed, and a few other things. He didn't ask what type of heating if any that I was going to use. I had already decided, if I were to turn my full attic into livable space, I was going to use non traditional heating method. Needless to say, I was surprised by the $45k estimate. I was told I would receive an actual estimate, which I never received.
Description of Work: I made an appoint to get an estimate to drywall 3 rooms and install two interior doors upstairs.

They stripped our kitchen down to the bricks and redid it so beautifully, I can't believe it's in my house! The crew arrived every day by 7:30 AM and cleaned up each day before they left. They communicated with us on every issue and were very open to suggestions, while offering ideas to us as well. With all of the experience of the team, they could anticipate and advise us before things became problems! 18 months later, there is not a single concern with any of their work. HIGHLY recommend them!!!

The owner of the company and Paul made the final measurements and ordered the doors and hardware. Chuck, the installer, was all about perfection and performed a beautifully crafted job. All of these professionals brought years of solid experience and expertise to our project At all times they were on time and did not leave until the job was completed to our satisfaction. It was one of the best service jobs we have ever had over a period of 50 years. Highly recommend.

+ 0 moreJohn Heagy and his staff were professional, friendly, punctual, and did a great job on our cabinet refacing. They were very communicative and responded immediately when we had questions or wanted to make changes a few times in the time leading up to the actual work. They happily accommodated the changes even when the change made it cheaper for us. The cabinet guy who actually did the work was wonderful. Very quiet, very clean, and did outstanding workmanship. The materials used seem to be high quality also. They even extended the LED lighting to the other side of our fridge free of charge and gave us several solid-wood drawer organizer inserts. I will definitely use John Heagy again for any home construction needs I have. We are so happy with our updated kitchen.

+ 0 moreI originally spoke with John to open the project but after that I dealt with Paul the most and he was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They were able to work with me while I collected all the materials and prepped the project (some of which had to be back ordered). Later on, I needed help with installing a portion of the kitchen I was remodeling and I became so frustrated that I asked Paul to take over the project. He came in on his own time and helped me finish it in one evening after he was done with work, simply to help me out.
Description of Work: Bathroom floor with shower enclosure. Kerdi waterproof system with a bench seat. Tile floor, threshold strip, marble bench seat.

He fully accommodated my schedule and was extremely patient and helpful in helping me work through the HOA's architectural review process. His crews were always prompt and worked to minimize the impact to my work schedule. The workmanship was very neat and clean and the price was very reasonable for the work performed. John followed up with a month after the project to make sure everything was met my expectations. I would recommend John to anyone.
Description of Work: I had a leak on a bumpout window repaired, my basement window well dug out and replaced, my porch replaced, my A/C unit leveled, and my driveway widened. The bumpout window leak had been an ongoing problem since I bought my house in 2001. I'd had another contractor look at it and attempted various solutions myself to no avail. John took one look at it and figured out the flashing had been installed incorrectly by the builder (Madarin Construction). It had been an intermittent problem, but to day it looks like John's fix is holding. Similarly, the window well, as installed by the builder, had been the cause of numerous basement floods. The replacement John recommended seems to have fixed the problem. It was a very impressive level of effort since they had to dig out the area by hand. The did a very nice job of keeping the excavated material in the local area. Moreover the replacement lets in more light and will be easier to use in the event of an emergency. The porch replacement was planned project that had to be accelerated when I noticed the support post was cracking. John replaced the cracked post and existing railing with an aluminum and vinyl solution. He also replaced the treated wood with composite boards. It turned out very well. My A/C unit had been a problem and I had been unable to find someone willing to work on it. The reason being that it was either not worth their effort or they were concerned about damaging the unit. John's crew managed to correct it to a reasonable degree. The widening of my driveway was an optional project that I decided to do while I had a contractor working on other items. It did require having the existing driveway removed. A fairly involved process due to the rebar. He also replaced the wooden step with a concrete one.
