DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Spent $30,000 on a pad and a patio and it started cracking within weeks! Complained multiple times the he "needs to get his equipment outta here" half way through the job. He brought and excavator when he really needed a bobcat to prep the site. He left the crew working in the dark with no lights at the completion. The crew left concrete splattered all over my door and house, the pad has severe low spots so the garage leaks as the water runs under it, he cut relief joints several feet into what was supposed to be the smooth garage floor, the pad holds water in multiple places, destroyed my driveway with the trucks and when it was all done he left probably 10 tons of dirt piled up in the yard. I should have looked better, they have been sued multiple times for the same thing. I gave him an opportunity to fix the issues, but he just had excuses and even went so far as to claim I have a "hidden stream" in that specific spot and that I was being cheap because I only gave him $1500 OVER the price he originally quoted when he came to look this first time.

Removed old concrete and installed new concrete. Good pricing, answered all my questions, on time installation, very attentive, professional crew, came in got it done, cleaned up and left. Everything you would want with a contractor. Great Product!

Went smoothly. Mr. Medlin and his team arrived at 6:30 AM. They performed all the preparations for the concrete delivery (fill/level area with stone, marked the level lines for the thickness of the concrete, and placed the rebar. Team was ready for concrete delivery and set to work immediately. Mr. Medlin requested I review the delivery paperwork to assure that the concrete mix was as required. Team leveled and floated the concrete to the proper level. After a suitable setting time the team hand floated the whole surface and completed a final light brushing for the surface finish, as I requested.

The service provided was excellent! The entire team was professional, courteous and we’ll versed in their profession. I will use them again.

James came to our house soon after my call and offered a reasonable price for a new driveway, entry porch, and walkway. The job was done in one day: removing the old driveway and walkway, preparing the concrete area with wire mesh reinforcement added for the driveway, installation of the new concrete. We paid after the job was done. I called James later because I found the entry step crack and asked him to fix it. He came back and fixed it. We like James's work approach and would recommend him to others.

Mr. Medlin, Alex and crew are all very professional. The porch and steps look fantastic. I am very satisfied with the price and final product. I would definitely recommend them to others and will call on them again when I need more concrete work done.

Very fast and efficient company. They got Angi notification on Friday, stopped by on Saturday to estimate, returned a quote on Monday and was ready to pour the following week. Shaved 4-8 weeks off my time frame from other vendors with fair price. Final project results were outstanding. I’d definitely use them again.

I called the owner James for an estimate and we was able to come by the same day. We talked with a couple other contractors and Mr. Medlin had the best price. After calling to move forward with the job, James and his team were able to come out schedule us before weeks end. He and his team did an amazing job and even had a little unexpected surprise for us. Medlin & Son did a great job on my front steps that had been sinking over the years. My dad fell on these steps because the top step was so high and he banged up his arm pretty bad. I called Medlin & Son and they fit me into their schedule and got me taken care of. He broke up my steps and redesigned new stairs going up to my front door. Him and his team were very thorough and walked me through everything they planned to do. They were professional and polite. I would highly recommend them. Working with James the owner of Medlin & Son has been fantastic. Not only were his prices reasonable, he went above and beyond my expectations in minimizing the impact to my front lawn while working in a very tight space to install my porch addition and sidewalk. A true professional, he kept me informed of any issues and worked with me to address the issues and achieve the results I wanted. James helped me find other professionals with his attention to detail to help complete the roofing for the porch. His crew was polite, friendly, and knew what they were doing.
