My Wife and I recently went through an extensive renovation of our home which entailed moving our kitchen to a different location, expanding a bedroom, remodeling two bathrooms, adding a bedroom and an office, and adding a den. Everyone on Scott'S team was amazing! They worked within our budget, gave us numerous options, and they were extremely accommodating considering we lived in our house during the renovation. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. We had estimates from other companies but Winthorpe Design & Build stood out because they really thought outside the box to make our wish list a reality. We love the ideas Krag came up with. We knew we were in good hands when we signed our contract. We highly recommend Winthorpe to others looking to complete a renovation. You won't be disappointed!

Horribly Disappointed in the final product this company delivered. The finish is not acceptable and they are doing nothing to fix the problem. They stated that they knew it would be an issue with what we requested (but never let us know that) and they are okay NOT remedying the work. I would NOT recommend anyone use them for any type of home improvement work. :( Many other issues. 1. mis-measured cabinetry and caused 3 week delay 2. poor installation of dog door 3. main issue is the horrible workmanship of cubbies. Totally unacceptable

After interviewing several builders, my wife and I selected Winthorpe Design & Build based on previous projects. Scott and his staff were attentive during the pre-construction phase, the building phase and remain so many months after the project was completed. Krag (Designer/Estimator was very close to being on budget (after several changes we had made) and in the end Winthorpe?s craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We have received numerous complements about our home and are happy when people drop by and ask "who built your home?". I would hire his firm again but that won't be necessary, my wife & I are living in our dream house with the security that it was well designed and built. We had a few questions after moving in and Krag came to walk through (again) how work some of the high tech items we wanted.

It went well. The new kitchen and refinished hardwood floors looked great. The project came in within budget even though there were a couple of challenges along the way. The property sold within a couple of weeks after listing it for more than I expected.
