Description of Work: I hired them to cut down one tree and serveral big branches.

Description of Work: Cut down 12 very tall trees (pine, maple, ash). Ground the stumps, hauled away the pine trees and left us maple and ash logs cut into sections for firewood. Only minor issue was some initial confusion about using the trees for firewood, so some was ground up before I noticed, but they were quick to fix that for the rest. Staff was very responsive and helpful, very happy with the job they did.

Description of Work: They removed a large oak tree from our back yard. They used a crane to get the pieces out. They worked fast, did no collateral damage, and left our yard clean. Very professional.

Description of Work: Work Done: Removed a large tulip poplar and ground the stump, trimmed a large beech tree, trimmed several small trees. |I used their website to request an estimate on tree work and Romeo contacted me within 24 hours and was able to provide an estimate within 2 days. Romeo came out to look at a large beech tree that needed significant trimming and to give us an opinion on the condition of a large tulip poplar (which was too close to our house and caused us anxiety during every storm). Romeo discussed his recommendations and the reasoning behind them. He suggested completely removing the tulip poplar, as it was splitting at the base (another arborist made the same recommendation). After I commented that we had some difficulty getting grass to grow in the backyard because of the tree shade, he outlined a plan to trim the smaller trees around the perimeter of the yard. The estimate he gave for removing the tulip poplar was much lower than an estimate for another company, who said they would use the same method for removing the tree. Romeo and his crew came out 6 days later and finished the job in about 8 hours. The very tall tulip poplar had to be taken down piece by piece (no crane). Both trees are close to our house, so they had to be very careful. They completely ground the stump of the tulip poplar and did a great job of leveling out the ground in the stump area, removing all the debris from the yard, and filling in the ruts from the weight of the tree parts. During the job, I asked them to save 2 pieces of the poplar trunk so my young children could use them as "chairs" in the yard. They saved 2 nice, level pieces and placed them under our deck in the kids' play area. The crew was very pleasant and easy to work with. I would definitely call Nelson for work in the future and have already recommended them to others.

Description of Work: They were very nice and helpful. They even did some extra work for free. I would use them again. They did a great job tearing down 12-14 LARGE trees and stump removal. Excellent price for all the work.

Description of Work: Great job!!! I recently moved and I had a very large tree with huge branches hanging over the house that I wanted trimmed before winter. I called for an estimate and 3 hours later Nelson knocked on my door and gave me a very fair price (right where I thought it should be given the scope of the work) so I cancelled the other 2 estimates I had lined up and told him to proceed. Two days later I got a call from a neighbor telling me there was a crane cutting my tree. When I got home, everything was neat and clean. All branches where removed from the property - unless you looked up, you could never even tell they where there. The work completed was exactly as me and Nelson had discussed. I think Nelson is a straight forward, good guy and his crew does good work. Highly recommended.
