Otto came out the next day and did a fantastic job! The finish is flawless and you would never see the area that had been damaged! Otto is a very friendly guy and the overall experience was excellent. They saved me over $700 and hours of work. My only hesitation is the cost but considering the alternative, it was well worth it! I definitely recommend their services.
Description of Work: I just installed a new Kohler fiberglass tub. While working on the enclosure, I dropped a hammer on the corner and it chipped out a 1 1/2" piece of finish. I called the supplier and they recommended Betz.

We had an electrical company come out and replace the breaker. But Betz always does great work. The technicians are very thorough in finding and diagnosing the issues.
Description of Work: I had them replace the motor in my hot tub because the breaker would kick off and no one knew why.

Nice enough service tech from Betz, identified where the leak was in the whirlpool bath tub, but was unable to fix the leak with two tries ($120 per visit). Betz offered to come out a third time, but what's the point? Called another whirlpool tub repair service. He confirmed the location of the leak, showed us how the previous repair would never be water-tight, and then fixed the leak in less than an hour. Tested under pressure and all is good.

The initial consult was $120 to let us know whether or not they could fix the leak without replacing the tub. They agreed to fix the leak for $220 (labor and materials) if I cut open the shower wall to provide access to the area. I agreed and completed the work to provide access to all parts of the tub system. The Betz technician came out and applied a thick coat of Weld On sealant to the seals of the tub. No parts were replaced. After waiting the 24 hours curing time as directed I ran the tub. It continued to leak from the same seal. I contacted Betz and they agreed to come out and fix the leak and only charge the cost of materials. The technician came back out and simply added more Weld On to the area without replacing any parts. We were told at that time there would be no charge to complete the repair. The seal has so far held although I have my doubts that it is a permanent solution. My greatest complaint is that two weeks after the final visit to re-apply the Weld On sealant I received another bill in the mail from Betz for $45 for "materials only." This brought the total cost for a single pipe seal repair to $385. I attempted to contact Betz to dispute this charge as a few ounces of Weld On used to complete the repair does not add up to $45. Betz has not responded to my attempt to contact them. I made a complaint with the local BBB and they have attempted to contact Betz and resolve the issue. As of this date they have had no response from the company.

Well as i describe above, nearly all the guts have been replaced by Betz. the parts work, but they allow all the water to leak out to the bottom drain. If there was a leak in the shell due to crack , water would leak out to the bottom of the crack and no further. I have not been happy. My tenent that rents my place is not happy. If the leak were fixed id be content. The price shown above of $1000 was an estimate, it likly higher since many expensive parts were replaced during th 4 trips out.
Description of Work: Bentz advertises on their website about being great about “Those Irritating Leaks” Well, I’ve got one, and interesting enough, near as I can tell it was caused by them. I have a sunken hot tub in my deck they have been out numerious times to repair. During the below dates Bentz came out to replace 1st the heating element, then the pump, and finally the Filter housing. One time they came out about the leak I say corresponded to one of their repairs, but being in the dead of winter with snow on the ground they wanted my tub removed from the deck before they would service it. 5/16/2011 – Replied to my request to come out 5/5/2011 1/7/2010 11/20/2009 4/17/2009 Well, to this day it leaks. I’m quite certain it’s not the shell like they claim (the water drains to about middle of the lowest drain). Other than the leak, I have no complaints, the plumbing is easly accessable without removing the tub (as shown by all the parts they have already replaced) but if the tub can't stay full, it’s a problem (and really not safe to leave on). They no longer work for the service company that referred them, and they don’t seem willing to fix what they were already paid to do.

They came out and fixed it right away. You can't even tell it was cracked. They did a beautiful job. I also showed him something else in my bathroom and quoted me a very reasonable price for it. His prices are good and he quick and efficient.
Description of Work: We had a hairline crack in our shower pan.
