Conversation when like this: Me: (After explaining our situation) I like to find out how much charge to come out for an estimate. Top Notch: We don't give estimate over the phone, we have to come out. Me: That's what I'm asking how much do you charge to come out to give an estimate. Top Notch: We are all booked up today. (with attitude) Me: You are still not answering my questions. I'm not asking to make an appointment I want to know how much you charge to come out for an estimate. That's all I need to know right now. Some companies charge to come do estimates. Top Notch: It's fee to come out but we're all booked up anyway, bye. (And she hangs up) So yes, I call back. I'm the customer! I leave a message about my dissatisfaction. Top Notch calls my co-worker....accuses her of being me and makes threats to her about writing bad reviews for us. She nor her company has ever done business with us so anything she cold write would be a lie!
Description of Work: All I wanted was to know if they charge to come do estimates.

Do Not Use TOP NOTCH PLUMBING they are liars and their customer service suck. they would not admit they was wrong and accommodate the customer, instead they wanted to make excuses and blame the customer for their wrong doing. The plumber came in and only fixed the easy stuff which was tightening some nuts & bolts then tell me he do not see where it states to look at the faucet and the garbage disposal so he will not fix it, everything was on the ticket he came 3hrs late pass the time I was told he would be their and he we nasty because I made him wait 5 minutes so I can turnaround. next day same guy a 5 to 10 min wait when you request to have the later time because this is on your time when he should have fixed everything the 1st day. Oh please don't speak to the manager she will just cover for him he did change the time to later then what you was told (I wasn't Informed of a time change) yes he said he had to wait for you the other day (because I wasn't informed of a time change) the ticket didn't have everything on it (AHS said everything was on the ticket so why didn't it come through to your system since you could see everything BUT THAT) we will charge you a miss appointment fee (I wasn't properly notified that he was on his way) this the kind of BS this company has. I will not use them again and I will continuously write bad reviews until they change, no one should have to deal with this type of poor customer service when they are spending their hard earn money. CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE WHEN YOUR IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY ADMIT YOUR WRONG APOLOGIZE AND WORK WITH YOUR CUSTOMER... P.S. I work for one of the top real estate companies in the world we provide our clients with vendors like plumbers, builders, electricians, roofers etc. This company's information will not be giving out to any of our clients. No matter if the client is paying you directly or your getting paid through a 3rd party your service should top notch to everyone.....
Description of Work: I went though my home warranty with AHS and they sent them, I was excited because I called on Monday and was schedule for Tues. Just brought a house and I understood that I would need to fix some minor things and that's why you get warranties the major thing was a leak in my faucets both kitchen & bathroom the other stuff were tightening up the screws....

The service person was on time, courteous and very informative. Our new sump pump worked during the several tests while my wife and I were present. But the tech could not explain why it did not work last week. So he left after it worked with that question unanswered. Another thing we learned, the tech could not identify the correct drain pipe that brought water from our back door. They are a relatively new company, 2010, they need some work. They can't just throw a new part into a customer's house and walk away. Take the time to make sure the customers is on board. We do not have peace of mind. We are hopefully optimistic. Fingers crossed.
Description of Work: Top Notch Plumbing returned after our posting grade "D" on Angie's list, after numerous emails, phone calls to them and to American Home Shield, who we have a home warranty with. We needed to be sure our previously installed sump pump did work. It did not run at all during our last two very hard rains during which rain water came into our basement.
