We are a small family business that is ran By a father and Son it is just the 2 of us unless we hire on for bigger projects . I have been in the Baltimore area working for the past 32 years . We usually get 1/3 of the Money upfront if we supply the materials and if job is not over 5000 dollars we get paid when services are rendered. We do not except any for of credit .

He gave the job to his son, Frank, who finished the concrete work but then failed to ever return to finish the job and acid wash the house. We paid in full and were told several times that he would be returning and never has. When I contacted his father, the owner of the company, he assured me that he would come and complete the job. He has told me on several occasions that he is coming but has failed to show up each time. This has been going on for a month and a half now and it is ovious that he never intends to complete the job that was paid for.
Description of Work: Spiegel Masonry was hired to point up our brick home.

Hello I gave this job to my son while she was on the phone . My son had worked for me for over 5 years and I thought that he was ready to be able to handle a small job such as this one simply grinding out the front of her home and re pointing it. The only reason I gave this job to him was because my Brother in Law in Atlanta GA Passed away and I had to be there for my sister and her family and Frank (My Stepson) Begged me to give him a chance . I was about to go to the funeral and got a call from Him stating that one of the neighbors called up OSHA and that he got a 1500 dollar fine . Mind you the job was only for $1600 and the check was made out to my son and he completed all work except for Acid washing Brick . I have since fired my son after that and he know works at a job I believe he is more suited for My son kept assuring that he would go out and fix the job on his own and he didn't do it the first time then the second time so I told the lady I would do it and my son begged me to give him the third chance so I did and I never heard anything back from the lady . My son Lied to me assuring the job was done and for all I know it was until one day looking thru a internet site I saw a bad review. I have left many messages and she will not answer the phone or call me back , If I can do so I would love to make this right for her but I need her to call me first . Please don't let this effect your judgment because I have been in business for 8 years and this is my first review like this and I hope the last. If you read this please call so I can make this right if you no longer have my # look me up in the yellow pages or Craigslist Thanks
