The price was high ($208) for the garage door tune-up, and the drive gear replacement was really expensive ($300) considering he was already on-site. The work was done quickly and professionally, I am only complaining about the cost. Although I think he could have done a tension balance as part of the tune-up, but I didn't think of it until after he left. The very next week I paid $89 for a different company to come out and tune-up the other door: $208 vs $89; I rest my case.

It was fine. I ended up needing some additional stuff, so I ended up paying extra to get the real work done. I could've just paid for the sensor than paying for the tune up. I could've gotten it done for less. They were fine. They are very responsive. They guy was very professional. It was too expensive. The experience was good. It was the right work. I think the price needs to be included in the Deal.

Repairs were quick and went very well. Appreciate the responsiveness immediately the next morning and good explanation of the options for repairs and improvement.

This was a while back but the guy who came to replace the spring was very courteous and professional. I would hire them again if needed. The garage door has been fine since the repair.

I called the office at 11:50 on a Saturday morning, they schedule an appointment for 12-4, technician called to info that he would be here at 2, called again to inform me that he was 8 minutes away. Rick was very pleasant and very professional. I love that the company sent me an email with the technician's picture and bio. Perfect. I will absolutely use them again and refer them to others. The the review, contract execution and installation were executed professionally. After the install I mentioned to the installer that the window grids were too small (you could see the insert tabs of some of the grids.). I contacted our salesman JR who said he would take my pics and get them remade and installed. A month later...nothing. 3 emails, 2 online chat sessions and several calls and still nothing over 4 months later. Don't use a company whose salesperson treats you great until he gets your money and then never talks to you again.

Work was done professionally but too costly.

The maintenance on my garage door opener components went well. The technician Derek communicated before his arrival and was on time. The maintenance was performed without issue (including new roller installation as part of the Angie's List deal) and he provided life cycle replacement information regarding additional parts (springs, pulleys) that may need replacement in the future. Overall I was very satisfied with the service.

After putting up with our keypad being on the fritz for nearly 2 years, I was ready to cry “uncle”. Our garage is 12 yards behind our house, and the keypad would turn into a total brat on what seemed to be the worst possible weather days. I must have been sending out esp waves because I got an email notice from Angie’s for this deal. After checking out the great reviews for Precision Doors, it was a no-brainer to move forward. I was amazed that they were able to come out the very next weekend. Our tech Brian was extremely professional and friendly. He and hubby discussed several other things about the operating system, rollers and stuff like that. All I cared about was getting a brand new, perfectly operating keypad. Now I won’t have to worry about standing in the rain, punching buttons and cursing while I’m standing in the rain in my work clothes, holding an umbrella, my purse, lunch and that random bag of stuff that I’m always hauling into the office. Rick arrived at 1130 and was done by 1215. Not only did he do the swap of the rollers, he answered multiple questions, gave advice on options for fixing the problem and what he suspected it was, though it wasn't, of course, doing it while he was here. He was polite, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and objective and I appreciated all of his time. I hire companies based on marketing, value, and when possible, recommendations, but it's the employees who come out that I interact with that determine what i think of the company as a whole and whether I like them or not and whether i would use them again or not. Rick has gotten Precision Garage Doors a new customer. I will be requesting him whenever i call, but hope that the rest of their workers are like Rick. Courtney and Denali in the office were equally pleasant and helpful, polite and well spoken. Thank you, Rick. All the best.

Very professional, prompt good work.

I placed a service request on the company website. I received an email notifying me that I would receive a call within 1 hour to schedule the appointment. After about 4 hours I called and was able to get the appointment scheduled. I was given a 4 hour window on a Thursday morning (8a-noon). At 11:50am I had not heard from anyone so I called and was given a stock response that the technician was on another call and that I would hear from him as soon as he was on the way. He ended up getting there at about 12:15. At that point I was gone but the nanny was here to let him into the garage. Shortly after his arrival he called to say that the door used TorqueMaster springs that they did not service. He offered to convert it to a torsion bar for $950. He estimated that it would take about 30 minutes to do and that he had the parts with him. It sure didn't sound like a job that should cost that much. He then wanted payment right then for the service. I told him to leave a bill because his tardiness meant that I wasn't there to pay him in person. This company has previously done work on my door. They seemed reasonable then but this was really poor form. Hard to believe that they can't repair this type of door. I've got another company coming tomorrow who will do it for $310. This will be my last job for Precision.

It went very well. They came out and got the work done right away. This is the 3rd time we have used them!

The provider Rick did a great job. He was prompt, courteous, and very quickly looked at the door to discover that one of the springs was bad. He replaced both springs and the cable, and fixed two smaller things for me happily. He was very knowledgeable and thorough, and I definitely felt I could trust him.

We were not happy with the service provided. After the installer and his assistant left and we had paid $600 we discovered later in the day that the outside opener did not work. We called and got the run around that the installer could not return to fix our garage. And would fix it the next day when he returned with the battery for our door. Which was not the answer we were looking for and we certainly did not receive good customer service. Our feeling was that we had already paid $600 to the company and now they were not interested in coming back to fix the door. Finally they did return late that evening but the head installer refused to get out of the car to look at what was needed to fix the door even when requested by us. The assistant did fix it as they did not set it up properly when here for the installation - so the door could not be opened from the outside. We also believed we were getting another Lift Master door opener to replace the one we had. But it is not and when I questioned the installer he said well "I told you that the PDS 800 was the one on the truck." Again not helpful at all and we did not know what the PDS 800 was and thought it was another model of the Lift Master as this was not explained by the installer. Very poor customer service! We have contacted the company and sent a message on their web site on this issue and requested a return call as we were having no luck with the folks on the phone. But as of yet we have not been contacted by anyone.

I thought they were expensive but they did fine. I think they were pretty responsive. I remember they did something additional. I thought they were expensive for what they did.

They were prompt, courteous and thorough. They delivered on the coupon promise.

The door opener just stopped working leaving the garage open in 20 degree weather on a Saturday. I called a few other garage operations, but no one answered or the answering machine said they only worked M- F. Precision answered immediately and when I told them my problem, at first they indicated that I might have to wait until Monday. Then the scheduler said, wait, let me see what I can do...and within a few minutes she was back on the line and said they would fix it that day. Within 2 hours, Mike from Precision was at my garage door...immediately pinpointed the problem (a loose wire caused by a broken gear box). He replaced the gear box, connected the wire, lubricated all the chains and tracks and the garage door is operating like new. And for what they did, I was pleased with the price. What great service!!!!
