It wasn't clear what the problem was. First, some adjustments were made to the unit and then a new battery for the remote control had to be purchased. Those steps did not resolve the problem. At a second visit, the circuit board was replaced and everything works fine now. Payment for the first visit was applied to the second. I was very pleased with the technician's responsiveness and professionalism. I would definitely use them again.

Salesman was professional, pointed out issues with my old foods and provided repair options as well as replacement options. He was not a high pressure salesman, and he was very professional and knowledgeable.

Very thorough and conscientious technician. The technician needed to return at a later date to install coils with a greater load capacity (as he didn't have them on hand). I've observed no problems with the work performed.

I purchased a Big Deal for a Garage Door Tune-Up PLUS New Ultra Quiet Rollers or a Free Key-less Entry Pad, primarily because my garage door was squealing mercilessly every time it went up and down and I wasn't sure how to lubricate it. I'd used an online video the last time I lubricated it but it had since been removed from Youtube and while I found another one it invalidated a lot of what was in the one that had been deleted so I felt it was best to just hire someone who knew what they were doing. After inspecting my garage door the serviceman noted that my rollers had already been replaced with the "ultra quiet" version (I'd forgotten) and I knew I already had a key-less entry pad. Under those circumstances he didn't feel that it was fair to charge the Big Deal rate for the little that I actually needed to have done. I explained that I didn't know how to lubricate my door nor what lubricant to use. He proceeded to tell me in detail what needed to be done as he did it, he then left his can of lubricant so that I'd know what to buy in the future. He was ridiculously kind and extremely professional. He told me to send to Angie's List for a full refund, which I did. I will absolutely call Precision Garage Doors in the future whenever my garage door needs to be repaired or replaced!

The works took less than 45 minutes and the door is now moving very smoothly. The technician was very professional and explained all the services to be completed. I am happy to have the work completed so I am no longer concerned about the safety of the door and the old bad springs which could have snapped at any moment.

The garage door works well. The people I worked with were courteous. However, my morning was tyed up unnecessarily. I was told by one office the workman would show up by 10A.M. , a different office told me between 9 and 1P.M. He finally came by 1P.M. It was a 2 man job but only 1 man was sent. Needed to dispatch another worker to assist. The job took over 5 hours. By the time the job was completed the sun was setting!

We did it online but they said they would actually need to see it. They said with the large garage opener, they felt it would need two springs to keep the door running as efficiently as it possibly can. It was going to cost us over 700. We fought it. We have live here for 6 years. We felt that it has been working fine with one spring. We did not feel we needed to add equipment to the garage opener that had been working for at least 6 years. We asked not to put the extra spring on. The quote was for fixing the spring and adding another spring. We loved them. Other people I could not get a response. They were right then and there. The company that I had previously used, I could not locate any new number and when I did, they were unresponsive. This was the only company I could find on Angie's list. The garage works better than it did before it was broken.

Technician was on time, excellent, knowledgeable, easy to work with. Top shelf guy. The price for parts, however, was astronomical. Example; Price for a Liftmaster 8355 door opener was $750 just for the parts, not including installation. Competitors price for next higher model, installed: $475. The tech asked me if I wanted a new center post lift bracket installed; $125 for the part. I declined and checked on Amazon afterward. Price with delivery: $30. So if maintenance is all you need, Precision is ok. If you need a new opener, rollers, etc., recommend doing your homework and buying parts elsewhere first.

At first we thought the price was a little high but after getting and understanding regarding the new technology we were pleased with the results. He explained that this new technology has elements that will not break unlike the old unit. Yes we liked the service and the professionalism he displayed.

The team arrived and when they took the cover off the unit, plastic pieces of the motor fell out and the motor was obviously broken. Due to the age of the unit they did not have a replacement motor. They said I could try to find a replacement motor or they could replace the unit as well as the old track. There was no high pressure attempt at a sale. I let them replace the unit since it was 20 years old. They had the whole unit installed in less than an hour and were very courteous and professional.

The technician was polite and professional. He took time to explain the potential issues and make recommendations. Work was completed in about an hour and he made sure I understood what had been done and how everything worked. I cannot comment on price because I did not get estimates from other companies since I wanted the problem fixed quickly instead of taking the time to get several quotes before the repair.

They put us on the schedule quickly to come out and check. We had initially purchased just a tune up but the door the builders put on 7 years ago was pulling away from the metal on the back. Once they checked they recommended replacing the door. We were scheduled a couple weeks later. Two guys came out. Both were on time (actually early but they called to ensure that was alright). They were really nice and went right to work. They replaced the door and it took a little over 2 hours. Once finished they asked me to come out and inspect everything and went over what was done. Everything looks great! I would definitely use them again in the future.

The company was very responsive to our timing needs and went out of their way to accommodate our tight schedule. The technician (Derrick) was friendly, explained everything to me, and made sure I understood every step he was taking. The repair was completed very quickly, and the door works like new. We're very impressed and would definitely use them again. Thank you!

The technician was extremely professional and very friendly. I've never owned a house with a garage before, and he took the time to explain to me how the door worked and how to maintain it on my own. He made the repairs very quickly and double-checked that everything worked properly before leaving. I would absolutely use this company again, and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Precision Door provides fast response (repairmen came within 2 hours of when I called). Explained everything very thoroughly and performed work quickly. I can't judge how their price compares to others, never having needed this type of repair before, but the quickness of response and knowledge of the repairmen was worthwhile to me. Spring was replaced, cables and door rollers replaced, part of the motor was replaced, fending off what would have been a future problem, everything that could possibly be lubricated was.

They gave my husband excellent instructions for him to do the repair himself. (Would have come out if he could not do it(he is 84 years old and ladders aren't his strong suit). Short story, he did it himself. Will call them in the future for any needed work.

It went great, he was late but with good reason and a heads up phone call. He not only fixed, he improved our system and made some needed adjustments with no additional cost.

We decided to replace our entire 20-yr old garage system and cheap door. From the friendly and quick sales person to the technicians, all of the guys were exceptionally professional and well mannered. The price was great and on-point, the door is fantastic - great quality - and the custom frosted windows look absolutely beautiful and fills the dark garage with tons of natural light now. They even replaced our cracked outer frame with a nice new one. The garage is so much quieter than our previous and much better quality. There was a hiccup with the scheduling due to an unforeseen issue with a previous customer which was understandable; however, we wound up calling them, vice them notifying us, of the ETA status. As a result of the issue, they asked kindly to reschedule to the next day but we didn't get that call until 5pm. It actually worked out fine since I was off, but we wound up wasting a day waiting. They made up for it, though, by coming first thing in the morning and doing an exceptional job, leaving everything clean and tidy. Everything worked out perfect - one hiccup isn't bad - would still rehire. Great job, great price, great employees - everyone was really nice - just need a bit better communication with customers when ETAs change.
