Precision Door Service

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. He came shortly after I purchased the deal.

The technician arrived promptly and was very courteous. He was patient as I was bouncing back and forth between him and another contractor I had at the house for a different reason. The Angie's List deal offered a keyless entry pad or new rollers with each deal purchased (one per door). He suggested using the one keypad for both doors so that I could get new rollers on one of the doors as part of the deal instead of two keypads - which worked great. The best part though was that I had thought that I may have needed new systems entirely due to problems opening the doors, but the technician tried to identify the problem, to save me money as much as possible. After troubleshooting and a couple of visits, the problem was identified (a setting on the current system, not a mechanical problem at all). They promptly reimbursed me for a part that I had ordered in the meantime. In short, I was extremely satisfied with their service.

I was having a problem with my garage not closing properly. Precision made some adjustments and also installed new rollers. Door has worked great ever since. Very happy with their service.

The provider arrived on time. He was professional and personable. He explained what he would be doing. He explained how the keypad entry system operated and made sure we were comfortable with it.

From what we read on the deal we expected that they could get our door to garage door to work. It does go up but needs a push to get it going. This company is more in the business of selling new garage doors rather than working with existing doors and openers. They gave us the information on their products but we really want to keep our original door and just want the opener to work properly.

I purchased the deal thinking I needed a tune-up to resolve my garage door remotes not working. Once I explained my situation over the phone to set the appointment Precision Garage Doors informed me that a general service call was all I needed. I paid the $49 service call charge to them and they came out within a few days to fix the problem. However, since I used an Angie's Deal to purchase the service, they could not directly refund my original purchase. Good experience overall.

Technician called to indicate that he was running late. Overall was good experience.

He came out and informed me that I didn't need the service that was offered in the Big Deal. He did however change a fly wheel and some other parts, and highlighted that in a year or so I may need some other things done. He was very quick and professional with the service.

Unfortunately there are no details to share because I cancelled the deal and received a refund.

We opted for the keyless entry pad for our garage door in the deal. However, after installing the keyless entry, they did not perform a garage door tune up. We asked at the time of service if he was going to perform a tune up and the servicer said that the deal was for a tune-up or a keyless entry pad installation. That's not what the deal said. We were very disappointed in the service and would have gone with someone else if we had known beforehand that we were only going to have a keypad installed for $149.00. We could have purchased a keypad at any hardware store for $39.97. We bought the deal because we wanted the tune-up as well.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and it went very well. The door is much quieter now.

I called to make the appointment and the person who answered was courteous and willing to work with me on a date. The day of the work, the weather was terrible, so the repairman was late coming but he called to let me know. Upon arrival, he got right to work, inspecting all the points, brackets, rollers, springs, etc. He changed all the rollers for free, which is what I chose (I had the choice of rollers or a new remote box). He lubricated all the parts and made sure everything was in working order before leaving. My door is so quiet now.

Door didn't open after he left. I switched door sensors so left door works off of right doors sensor. (Right door doesn't open.)

Great. I called on a Saturday at about 1:00PM, and was told that they could come out to my house between 3-5 the same day. Mike called 20 minutes before he arrived at about 4:00. He assessed the problem, and when we explained we weren't in a position to permanently solve the problem, he adjusted our doors so they'd work until we could buy a permanent fix. I felt like he went above and beyond what was necessary, and he explained everything he was doing. He gave us contact info for their sales person in case we wanted to use them. Overall, this was a great experience, and I won't hesitate to call them again.

I bought a $99 deal to get a garage door tune up and they would throw in a keypad or rollers. The technician advised that we should go with the rollers because our current rollers were squeaky and the garage door had dropped one day. So he tuned the system and changed the rollers. The tech really took his time explaining how the system works, how we can keep it functioning properly and what he was doing. Once he was done the garage door rolled up and down smoothly. No more squeaky wheels.

My experience went very well. The staff was friendly and professional while visiting. I would recommend this company to others.

Late arriving, but I was called in advance and asked if that was OK. The gentleman that arrived was friendly and courteous. He got the work done in a timely matter and informed me about the condition of my garage door. He gave me detailed instructions on how to use the installed keypad. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my neighbors.

Very Good! Barry was very prompt in arriving and explained the problem and the cost in a very professional manner. During the installation, he explained every step to me and my son.

I called around 9:30 a.m. and they gave me a same day appointment and we were done with the work by Noon. Service: Professional, friendly. Did the job very efficiently and took the time to answer my questions. I've waited a week to write the review. The garage door is really quiet now. Very satisfied.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. Those guys did a great job. It was awesome. It was really good. The guy was a professional but he was hilarious too. He was very thorough. He explained everything he did and he gave me a couple of pointers so I was really kind of blown away. I would definitely use them again. They walked me through some maintenance that I can do myself. They explained the importance of getting an annual maintenance tuneup, which I never knew. He educated me and we had a little fun. He was really a great guy. I would absolutely use them again.

Barry from Precision Garage Doors came to our house to replace the bottom seals on both garage doors and we were very pleased with the service. He not only replaced the seals but also took the time to lubricate the chains and all moving parts of the doors. He was on time and was a very pleasant individual. We will continue to use Precision when the need arises.

The provider was very friendly, efficient, and courteous during his visit. He arrived on time, talked me through each step of his process, showed me a particular kind of lubricant to use if I have issues with the doors in the future, and even gave my son an extra roller to play with. Overall, I was very pleased with the service.
