Precision Door Service

The service technician was efficient and clearly experienced. When I spoke the company to confirm charges, I was relieved to know that the deal price was not inflated by additional charges for gas or travel. Following the service, I received an e-mail from the company thanking me for my business and asking for feedback...good customer service. I would use them again.

We called on a Thursday and got an appointment on Sat. Mike E, the technician called prior to his arrival and arrived on time. He was able to quickly assess the problem and provide the needed repairs. The thing that I like about this company is that each time, they try to educate you on your doors and how to maintain them. The technicians are honest and knowledgeable. Their prices appear to be fair based on the market. I am glad that I chose Precision to install my door in 2012 and for the repair job recently.

They did a really good job for me. They actually fixed another unit for me that was in need of repair while they were here. They did a fantastic job!

They guy showed up and was rude because it was not his service area and was late for another appointment. He was here a total of 15 minutes. All he did was put oil on the chains of the garage door rollers and told me top call and make another appointment for some other time.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a good job. They came in right away, they cleaned the garage mechanisms quickly and efficiently, and they let me know what the limitations were of my outdated system. There were no additional charges. They were punctual and efficient. The quality was good. I haven't had any problems since. They were quick to come out.

I had purchased a Big Deal for a garage door tune up that was supposed to include a new garage door opener. When he came out to my house he took one look at my garage door and said that the springs looked dangerous. I felt like right away he was trying to scam me. He was trying to sell me all kinds of extra things. He then told me that he did not have an opener that was compatible with my garage. He did no work for me. I ended up going to Home Depot and found that all of the openers they had were compatible with my garage.

Vendor provided good service and performed an additional repair in the most economical way possible (reusing as many old parts as possible). He did the work well, and the doors work well. Plus there was no up-sell of additional unwanted services.

I spent more than I was expecting to spend; they were able to fix the problem initially; but then more problems arose. When I told them how much I spent for the initial repair and they were able to lower the price on the new unit in order to satisfy me.

The technician arrived on time, determined the source of the problem, and proceeded to correct it. First, he explained the problem, advised us how to avoid it in the future.

This was second time I have had them come out. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. One technician came to complete the work and he did so in about and a hour and half. They came, checked it out, and completed the tune-up. Everything went fine.

The installation was done on time and the installers were polite. When I asked for a review of their work, the company rep.refused to believe that his company had installed the door. There was a previously installed metal door on the other side of the garage installed by Sears. He claimed that Precision had installed the Sears door. He demanded that I produce the receipts for both doors. He still accused me of telling a falsehood because the receipts did not say which door had been installed by Precision. Finally, he called the manager who told him I was correct. He informed me that the installers had failed to install insulating material that would have sealed the door and eliminated the almost two inch gap around the door. He also informed me that buttom to open the door had been improperly placed. Precision made the corrections. HOWEVER: I cannot recommend a company that would make such egregious errors in the original installation and then try to say that they didn't do it.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. It was nice a day, he told me what needed to be done without forcing me to have them do it. The guy was full of information, he shared all of his knowledge, and he also took care of what was to be taken care of. There were no extra charges.

after getting estimate from Precision estimator she said $49.95 plus part, but how much part can be, after the repair showed up he said need 2 springs and bearing the cost will be $515.95 so I have no choice just go ahead with it, on Monday I called other company find out the spring run between $19.00 to $65.00 and bearing $10.00 he charge me $380.00 for 2 springs and $60.00 for bearing.

It went perfect. I believe that they came soon after I purchased the big deal. They were very punctual and they did what they were supposed to do. They got my garage door working better. It was not as noisy as it was before they showed up. I did not spend any extra on top of the big deal.

The technician came out in the scheduled window. He lubed, inspected the door, adjusted the sensors and replaced the rollers. I wouldn't use them again, because I will try to find a company that services Genie door openers.

They came and fixed it and they were very good. They came when they said and were on time.
