Through Angi, I requested a quote to change the carpets on my 3rd level to hardwood floors. Kelvin responded quickly and gave me an estimate to change all of the hardwood from carpet and added some work to the kitchen floor. The day of the project he said I would need to pay more money to change all the floors to hardwood on the 3rd level and charged me $500 for the work even though it was already included in the work scope. He left the floors behind the stove and refrigerator in the kitchen a complete mess and didn’t inform me that holes were left in the floor. The floor looked ten times before the work that was done leaving me wondering about the qualifications of his staff because what professional would do that and purposely hid bad work behind the appliances.

Kelvin called right away to see how his company could help me resolve my issue with the garage door. He sent Gilmer out the same day look at the damage done and provide an estimate. Gilmer installed our new garage door the next week. We were completely satisfied with their customer service from beginning to end and the installation.

Gilmer came out for an estimate less than an hour after I opened the project. He came back the next morning to replace the worn-out springs and adjust the motor. He was very informative, explaining every step of the process, what was necessary and what to expect. The garage door works much better now.

Gilmer performed the garage door and framing replacement, he was very organized, clean, respectful, knew what he was doing, and very efficient. They were also able to accommodate a very quick timeline for getting hired and perform the work without sacrificing quality service, this was appreciated.

Kelvin is a true professional who made sure he understood what my needs were before he quoted me a price and agreed to the work. They arrived on time and Gilmer began work immediately. The removal of the old garage parts and accessories went smoothly and Gilmer explained everything he was doing and provided information on what went wrong with the old garage system. As he went to install the new garage system he also walked me through what he was installing and how it's all connected to the system. I felt comfortable with the entire process. Long story short, the door is amazing and everything works great. The company even went so far as to notice a small discrepancy with the rod and volunteered to replace it the next day. This is a true testament to their workmanship guarantee and stellar attention to the smallest of details. I would definitely hire them again and I strongly recommend KF (Kelvin and Gilmer) for your garage and/or home improvement needs.

The vendor was friendly when scheduling to visit my home to quote several home projects to be completed within the week. Unfortunately, Kelvin was a no call, no show, and didn’t respond to my text and phone call the day of my appointment. It’s disappointing that business did not value potential customers’ time and notify them if the appointment needed to be cancelled.

KF remodeling did a fantastic job on my kitchen and hardwood flooring. They worked with my wife and I to help pick out cabinets and flooring and presented us with reasonable alternatives that had the same look we wanted for lessor cost. They were professional and the craftsmanship is excellent. When we start on our master bathroom in the spring I will definitely be calling them back.
