Description of Work: We had them come to our house to create an estimate for installation of a gas fireplace. This service was $99 and completed in a timely manner. It was supposed to take 1 week for the estimate to be emailed to us. After 2 weeks I called and was told I would be given a call back and still did not receive one two days later. I called again to inquire and was told the same thing again with no return call. It required me calling 4 separate times and refusing to allow a call back and waiting on the line to speak to the person we met with in the store (who was apparently a manager). She stated she was unsure what happened and the estimate still wasn't completed. She finished it in two days and sent it. With all the frustration and poor service they didn't offer a return of my $99 fee. They stated if we bought from them we could get a $250 discount all together...on something that would have cost us around $9000 to $10000 dollars. A mere joke. Would never go back again.

Description of Work: Tech was very thorough. He arrived on time and serviced three propane fireplaces. He even cleaned the glass doors after he started and adjusted the fires.

Description of Work: Installed a custom fireplace door. | |They did a great job - start to finish. Beautiful result. Work of this nature is unfortunately very expensive and their price was no exception. I could not find an 'off the shelf' product that would've looked this good, so, I guess you get what you pay for. At least we are thrilled with the results.

Description of Work: We have enjoyed the gas-fired fireplace insert we purchased from Day or Night last year. This month we had a service rep come out to provide a seasonal tune-up. Although he was a bit late, the service rep (the same person who installed the unit) was thorough, courteous, and did a good job of cleaning up after he completed his work.

They refused to itemize the costs on the estimate or explain the details of their service program. As a result, we did not use them. Their estimate was the highest we received.

Description of Work: I purchased an island with a fire magic grill from them but i dont remember the date. They delivered and installed the item as agreed and I also had them run a hard gas line from my home to the grill in which they did an excellent job to county code. I would use them again and was very happy with their sevice and products.

Description of Work: They installed a gas-fired fireplace insert in our home. This included installing a chimney liner, gas line hook-up, and electrical work. The end result is beautiful, efficient and a great addition to our home. The installers were craftsmen and the office staff was responsive and professional.

Description of Work: I picked out a gas insert fireplace to be installed at my home. They helped me pick the one that best fit my budget and needs. They were also able to run the gas line to the fireplace (it used to be a wood burning). They were able to do this since they are also plumbers! Liz and her husband were great to work with. I'd definitely have them back.

Description of Work: They cleaned my pellet stove. The technician was prompt, efficient and very nice - patiently answered all my questions. | |I thought the price was expensive for what was done. Also, I contacted them via a form on their web site, and it wasn't acknowledged for a few days. When the acknowledgment came, it was an email saying to call them. Given that, I question the usefulness of the online form.

Description of Work: I originally called to have a faucet replaced in my laundry room. After they replaced the faucet (which I supplied), installed cut off valves, and replaced the trap, the trap started to leak. We had to make another service call to have them come back out and check the leak that the new trap was causing. The original plumber came back out and replaced the a small ring on the trap and he ran water in the sink to see if the trap was still leaking (apparently it wasn't I was told). A few days later while I was using the laundry sink the trap was leaking AGAIN! This time when I called I was treated very poorly by the woman who answered the phone, unfortunately I do not remember her name. She was curt and not professional. She basically accused me of causing the problem, because in her words, "THERE WAS NO LEAK WHEN MY GUY LEFT". Well long story short after a third visit, ( with a different plumber ) the leak is now fixed. The actual plumbers that visited my home were very professional and polite and professional. However the office staff was terrible. Will never use them again based on my experience.

Description of Work: I purchased an island with gas grill from them and paid them to connect the gas line from my house to the grill for a permanent gas connection and they converted my gas grill fom propane to natural gas. the cost above is not including the grill and island just the gas work
