First meeting to detail requirements and estimate was prompt and resulted in a clear and consice contract document.Work started within a couple days of signing. Demolition and debris removed first day.Framing mostly completed on second day.Decking almost completed on third day. Railings and clean-up the next two days. Job was complted with no interference to the household.Job looks very neat and clean.

The owner was very personable and friendly. He had to reschedule for the first appointment which was not a problem for us. He listened to my concerns and ideas for the project and took some measurements. However, he never followed up after this initial appointment. I have a feeling that our project may have been to big for his company. I would have appreciated a phone call letting us know that the company was not interested in our project. My time was wasted. I could have called other contractors in the time I was kept waiting for his estmate that never arrived.

All three projects went according to plan and schedule.

Adam was very nice to work with; professional and prompt in responding to us. His team was very professional, showed up on time, did a great job keeping dust contained in the work area, cleaned up everything better than expected. They did a fantastic job with the work! The only thing we were disappointed in was how dim the lights were in our kitchen. We expected that Adam would advise us in the correct size and number of recessed lights for our size kitchen and it's much darker than expected. However, Adam came back over to inspect the work, and talked to us about our options should we want to put in more lights. Overall, we were very pleased with Clarksville Construction. We had heard they were more expensive than other contractors but they ended up being the lowest estimate we received.

The only negative was a small smear of adhesive/glue that was on my counter top which I had a hard time removing.

Both jobs were done very professionally and to everyone's satisfaction.

We found them through Angie's List. They were good.

We chose them over other bidders because when we were trying to figure out where to store everything currently in the basement, Adam August offered to provide a lockable trailer to park behind our house where we could store everything. They gave us a three week time line which was less than any of the other bidders. Adam has a permanent crew of painters, electricians, carpenters, etc. They work hard continuously. When we lost a day waiting for the inspector to approve electrical work they came in on Saturday and worked eleven hours. They have completed everything, but the floor, which is scheduled for next week. The work so far looks terrific and very professional. Payments are made at the end of each segment with 10 per cent held until we are completely satisfied with their work. They have all been very easy to work with. Adam is very responsive and obviously operates a very professional and resourceful company.

They did great work all the way around. They were prompt and on time, they were all business, and they answered all of my questions and concerns.

We hired Adam and his company for a very specific task: to remove our Gutterglove Icebreaker gutter covers prior to our re-roofing job -- including the installation of drip edge -- which necessitated the removal of the gutter covers. I hadn't had any experience with Adam's company, but I learned of their familiarity with Gutterglove just by chance when I called to ask if they could replace a sliding-glass door panel (they could) that had been scratched by the very same Gutterglove company that installed our Gutterglove Icebreaker only one month before, and replaced our gutters as well. Originally, Adam's company was also going to reinstall our Gutterglove Icebreaker after the re-roofing job was done, but in the interim, we decided to have our nearly-new gutters replaced by the same company that replaced our roof -- because I was so impressed with them -- and because I was so disillusioned with our nearly-new gutters (leaks and overflows, among other things), not to mention the Gutterglove company that installed them. Then, with our new new gutters, we decided not to reinstall the Gutterglove Icebreaker (for various reasons), but to get different gutter covers entirely. In any case, I couldn't have been more impressed with Adam's crew's punctuality, professionalism, and moreover, knowledge of the electrical ins-and-outs of the self-regulating heating cables, which run in a channel in the Gutterglove Icebreaker gutter covers and down the downspouts, and are designed to melt ice in the gutters and downspouts in winter, to ward off the formation of ice dams. In a word, Adolfo (a member of Adam's crew) discovered that the proximal ends of the heating cables (the ends in the gutters) were not terminated properly (could not form a closed circuit), so the "self-regulating" heating cables would never have melted any ice!! In addition, Osman, another member of Adam's crew, discovered that one gutter didn't even have a cable! (Did I say I was unhappy with the Gutterglove company that installed these cables and gutter covers?) I am so grateful to Adam and his crew for their "discoveries," because it set us on an entirely new path in our thinking about ice dams: rather than worrying so much about the formation of ice dams, we realized that the new ice-and-water shield underlayment on our new roof should protect us from any damage caused by ice dams, and our (new) larger gutters and downspouts should be more likely to remain patent (not blocked by ice) through winter. Besides Adam's crew's knowledge of the "electrical intricacies" of the Gutterglove Icebreaker gutter covers was their care in disassembling them -- the care they took in keeping the components together for each individual gutter and cataloging them -- with the expectation (not fulfilled, as it turned out) that they (the crew) would be back in a few weeks at most to reinstall the gutter covers. Had they not taken such care, I'm sure it would have been an enormous jigsaw puzzle to try to reinstall the gutter covers on the gutters where they belonged! (I cringe to think of what would have happened had the original Gutterglove company taken down the gutter covers and then tried to reinstall them!) Beyond this, when I made the appointment with Adam to come take a look at our gutter covers with an eye toward removing them, I mentioned that we had other work to be done on our home, including replacing rotted decking and siding -- due in part to our previously-overflowing gutters, which, in turn, was due in part to our previous "bad" gutter covers (not Gutterglove). Adam, in fact, made a complete survey of the exterior of our home, suggested certain repairs, and answered all our questions thoroughly and completely. Although we haven't yet "progressed" to other projects, once we get "revved up" again (after our enervating experience with Gutterglove Icebreaker and our previous problematic (to say the least) gutters), Adam is certainly going to be high on our list for carrying out our future projects!

Work was performed on schedule and in proposed time duration. Good planning and execution of work. Otherwise uneventful as expected.

Awesome! Prompt, punctual, professional. Came quickly to a**** the job, gave me an estimate promptly, were able to schedule the job in my timeframe. Arrived on time, got to work right away. Adam, the supervisor, is extra nice and knowledgeable. Done a wonderfull job, looks perfect. Sturdy but stylish. Done a few last minute touch ups not included in initial estimate, no extra charge. Worked all morning, no "coffee breaks, smoking breaks" etc. I did check how the work went on a couple of times but realized quickly there was no need of that, the guys were doing their job fast and worked at the same steady pace even without me breathing down their neck. This was a most pleasant experience, my only regret was not finding them sooner. Will definitely work with them on next upgrade projects! Highly recommend. Anca G. C., MD, Ellicott City
