Initial contact was with Adam August. A project manager was assigned to handle all the details of the renovation. A kitchen designer from Reico provided proposed designs from which I could choose. Hardwood flooring, carpeting and appliances were chosen by me from Clarksville's suppliers. Work when smoothly from demolition to the final finish work. There were a few punch list items that were resolved in a satisfactory manner. What was a big help wast he trailer that was provided to store all the furniture etc that was on the frst floor.

The owner, Adam August, came out to our house to give us an estimate for tiling our kitchen, mudroom, and pantry. Adam was on time, very professional, and responded within a few days with a written estimate by email. His assistant even emailed a confirmation of the estimate appointment - very organized! He gave me advice on a side job, saying that he didn't think that a repair was necessary (which I appreciated). We ended up using a different company, but we were very happy with their organization and professionalism.

We were extremely pleased with the quality, professionalism and flexibility Clarksville Construction provided. They performed numerous repairs and remolding tasks for us with excellent results. Everything (painting, drywall repair and installation, tiling, tree removal, deck repair, carpeting, and landscaping) was done 'right' the first time with a professional finish. The staff were always prompt, courteous, flexible, and gave us the best options for our budget. We would highly recommend this company for any construction and/or property needs.

The owner was pleasant but the company overall was not responsive.

You must be joking HECK NO I did not pay what they wanted!!

On schedule, the owner Adam, was always available either on the phone or in person and very congenial in our discussions.

The process was very smooth, every part of the job was very well orchestrated by Adam and his team to finish by the deadline we needed. We see no reason to look elsewhere when it comes to remodeling or repairs around our home, Clarksville Construction is the only name we need and we certainly plan on using them again. Thanks again guys!

The painters arrived early that morning as promised and got right to work with bringing in equipment and preparing the walls. My sister house sat while we were out and she was very impressed by the work preformed. She stated they were polite, stayed on point the with work and cleaned up after themselves. We bearly smelled the paint when we go back home that evening and was instructed to wait at least two days for the paint to dry totally. The paint job highlighted parts of the wall and ceiling I never notice before. Great job guys!

We did not use them. The owner came out and that was good; it was nice meeting with him. They gave a very thorough estimate which I appreciated but their price was higher than the company we went with. They only get a B because their estimate was high.

Adam came out quickly for the estimate. He measured the areas and we spoke about what we wanted to get accomplished. Within a few days he had his numbers to us. We wanted to order some of the fixtures ourselves and after we found and ordered the tub, shower fixture and tiles the price was adjusted. As we went along, certain things had to be tweaked but we both kept good records of the money added or subtracted from the job, paperwork was signed along the way and we were very pleased. We knew from the very start that once the demolition started there would be times that we would have to wait. Once was to wait for the tile order to come in (about 10 days) and the other was when the glass shower door needed to be measured and ordered after the tile had been placed (about two weeks). The crew that came from Clarksville as well as the sub contractors were all punctual, clean, professional, and very pleasant to work with. This company is wonderful in all ways and we would definitely use them again. As a matter of fact, we were able to negotiate the replacement of our patio door and they were able to get that accomplished by the end of the bathroom remodel.

They were on time. They did the work on schedule and they cleaned up after themselves.

I liked everything about it. They were on time, on budget, and they did an excellent work. I thought their price is a little high, but I did not mind paying for excellent service.

The estimate was higher than other estimates we had been given by atleast a couple of thousand dollars. The guy was nice but he was unprepared for the visit.

They seemed very professional, prompt and they followed up with an email, which I appreciated.

No work was performed because Adam did not show up to the estimate appointment.

I was highly recommended to Adam from a co-worker who has been working with him for many years. I had just purchased a new home and had Adam come out to give me an estimate. There was a lot of work that needed to be done, so I wanted to go with a company that was a one stop shop. Adam arrived on time, he was very professional, friendly and I was very comfortable with him. His pricing was reasonable. I didn't end up going with his company, but REALLY wish I did. Not knowing any better I went with the lower bid company and I am (many months later) still dealing with the wake and issues of my horrific experience. I thought Adam was an honest and fair guy, so even though I didn't go with him, I still recommend him to friends and neighbors.

My husband is an Angie's List member and we get the newsletter. When I needed some drywall cracks repaired, I checked the newsletter and saw that Clarksville Construction was very highly rated and had a discount for Angie's List members. I emailed them and they promptly called to set up an estimate. They showed up ON TIME, they worked quickly and neatly. They took care to move and cover the furniture to protect it from dust. They also did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves. They had the work completed on time even though I asked them if they could replace the bathroom fan and add a separate switch, which was not part of the original job. I have already scheduled them again for another job, this time repairing the porch roof, so yes, I would use them again, and I would recommend them to a friend. They are not the least expensive, but I would rather pay a little more for a better quality of work.

They were really good. They were very professional and neat. They were here when they said they would be and took care of the problem. They were thorough and we were very pleased with them.

They are really good. They clean up after themselves really well. There was a problem with the tile in the bathroom where it didn’t stick. We brought it to their attention and they came right back out. They stated they had to repair the entire floor and they tried to make it completely convenient for us and took care of it promptly. They had to re-tile in the bathroom and shower. They were very neat. The crews were very polite professional.

I had several other companies bid on this job, but chose Clarksville due to its competitive price, conscientiousness of Adam, the owner, and rapid response time. The estimator who came out put me in contact with a woman who does design services, due to the fact that I was rather uncertain about how to approach a renovation of my small kitchen, and because I was working from a strict budget. Brigid (Wethington), the designer, came out and gave me good suggestions, and I contracted with her to provide some options. Once those were done, and I selected one, I chose Clarksville to do the work. Within 3 weeks, they commenced the job: the crew arrived on time at 8 am. They were careful to cover all my furniture and protect the floors with tarps. The men were professional and courteous; within two weeks, everything had been completed. On one of the final days, they arrived in the AM and worked straight through until 7 or 8 pm, in order to get things finished. Because I trusted Adam and the integrity of his crew, I even gave him a key which they used to access the house on the days when I had to be at work. Because this is a small family business, and Adam is all about service and responsiveness, the experience was totally positive and what is always a harrowing time (renovation) was made as painless as possible. The kitchen looks fantastic, and every time I step into it, I am happy!

They are great. They do a wonderful job. They are very trustworthy. We never had any problems or hesitations leaving them in our home when we are not here. They are a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

We had a very good experience. There were some problems but they came back right away and fixed them. They were very neat and professional in the work they did.

Through a recommendation of a visitor to our yard sale, we called for an estimate. The estimator, which we learned later to be the owner, was through and phoned in the estimate to the administrator who typed the contract up and sent it right back to us to print and sign. I was impressed with the use of technology. The scope of the work was carefully discussed. The work progressed with workers on the job every day including Saturday as we had a deadline that required steady work to meet our requirements.

Excellent and professional throughout. They were waiting for me when I arrived and quickly covered and protected the surrounding area. After the initail prime coat the team leader asked me to look and see if I would prefer another prime coat prior to paint. I asked what additional cost that would be. He checked with the office and told me- no extra charge - that they would do what was necessary to have an excellent result. wow. Very impressed with this company. After they left I received a call to be sure I was satisfied.Indeed I am!
